Study of Ecotourism Management in Bendosari Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency. The concept of ecotourism is one alternative to develop an area into a tourist destination that pays attention to environmental sustainability by utilizing the potential of natural and cultural resources of the local community.Therefore, the existence of the concept of ecotourism can ensure the preservation of nature and its ecosystem. This study aims to: 1) Identify the potential and problems in Bendosari Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency, 2) Identify the feasibility level of ecotourism in Bendosari Village, Pujon District, MalangRegency, and 3) Develop a strategy for developing ecotourism areas in Bendosari Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency. Collecting data in this study using survey methods (observations and interviews), literature study and documentation methods. Analysis of the data used, namely: first qualitative descriptive analysis, second feasibility analysis based on the Guidelines (ADO-ODTWA) of the Director General of PHKA 2003 and the last is SWOT analysis. The results showed that: 1) The potential of natural resources in the ecotourism area of Bendosari Village, namely: the potential for flora and fauna, the potential for naturetourism, the potential for educational tourism, the potential for craft tourism and the potential for cultural tourism. The problems of ecotourism in Bendosari Village include the low quality of human resources, limited funds and the role of the Malang Regency Government which has not been active. 2) Ecotourism inBendosari Village is feasible to be developed as a tourist attraction with the results of the Guideline assessment (ADO-ODTWA) of 82.71%. 3) The strategy for developing Ecotourism in Bendosari Village is an expansion strategy (supporting offensive strategies) with alternative strategies that include: maximizing thedevelopment of ecotourism packages, empowering local communities in ecotourism activities, increasing security in tourist attractions, and maximizing tourism potential management.

Edelweis tourism village is one of the tourist villages located in Pacitan Regency, East Java. This tourist village is still in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park area. This tourist village has the main tourism potential, namely the Edelweiss flower or eternal flower. In this research, using descriptive analysis which is qualitative in nature. The data obtained were then analyzed using SWOT analysis. From the results of this study, the development strategy of Wonokriti Village as an Edelweiss tourism village is obtained, including holding activities related to the Edelweiss flower, making this village a center for educational tourism, especially edelweiss flowers, developing tourism supporting infrastructure, holding hospitality training for human resources involved in management. Kiringan Hamlet, located in Bantul Regency, is the only jamu-producing hamlet in Yogyakarta. The hamlet produces jamu (traditional herbal medicine) and sells the products traditionally. Almost a half of the hamlet’s population have skill to make jamu. Based on this fact, the hamlet’s existence gives hope for further development as an alternative tourist destination, especially in Yogyakarta.Therefore, this study was aimed at identifying the tourism potential in Kiringan Hamlet as well as processing it as a strategy for tourism development. This study was a descriptive study so that the data in this study was obtained by conducting interviews with local community, village officials, and tourism office staffs, field observation and literature study. The SWOT analysis results suggested that Kiringan Hamlet deserved quite high potential for serving as a jamu-based educational tourism site.Based on this quite high development potential, this paper then proposed the tourism development plan to be executed by the existing stakeholders so that this study could have significant implications for the efforts to develop tourism in the hamlet.

This study identifies the potential of tourism products in Sukajadi Village Bogor Regency based on ten (10) tourism components as well as its development strategy, which is currently included in the category of a newly developing tourist village. The results of this research are aggressive and serious development strategies in all aspects of the tourism component, namely increasing the quality and diversification of tourist attractions and activities, accessibility, improving the quality and quantity of tourism amenities, improving the quality of human resources & institutions, community support, land use, tourism industry cooperation, as well as marketing aspects. This research type is a descriptive qualitative with a case study exploratory approach. Primary data is obtained from direct observation and interviews with key informants, namely Pokdarwis and the Village Head, while secondary data is the result of literature studies and research documentation. The analysis technique of this research uses SWOT analysis and Matrix, analysis of the work program of the vision for tourism development of the Bogor Regency Government which refers to local government master plan for tourism development (RIPPARDA), and also analysis of the Cleanlines, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) guidelines.

This article investigates and identifies the involvement of stakeholders, analyzes internal and external factors that influence the planning of country border areas, and formulates strategies and programs for developing national border areas. This study used qualitative methods with IFE, EFE, IE and SWOT analysis. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, documentation study, literature study, and FGDs. The number of informants was 13 people who are competent and chosen deliberately. The results of this study indicate that the country border area is in a medium internal and external position, meaning that the border area of the country is in quadrant V, the strategy in quadrant V is to hold and maintain. Quadrant V indicates that the border area has developed and needs to be maintained. Therefore, the right grand strategies to be applied are market penetration and product development.Strategies and programs for developing country border areas with the Strengths-Opportunities strategies are mapping and polarization of tourist attractions, maximizing the types and diversity of tourism products in the border areas of the country, and evaluating cross-border festivals. Development programs by Weaknesses-Opportunities analysis are dissemination and training for human resource development particularly for the local people, construction of public facilities, tourism infrastructure, and coordination between stakeholders, and development programs. Meanwhile, by Weaknesses-Threats analysis, namely focus group discussions, seminars, workshops, entrepreneurship training, formal education for the local youths, security and cleanliness of tourist attractions, and regulatory evaluation. The development of rural tourism requires the participation of local communities in the entire development phase starting from the planning, implementation and supervision stages. However, in reality there is Often neglect of community participation. This study aims to examine the strategy of developing Taro Rural Tourism and the involvement of local communities in development. The research in this paper was conducted in the tourist village of Taro, Gianyar Regency, Bali. Data collection is done by literature study, in-depth interviews and non-participant observation. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis. This paper shows that the development of tourist villages in Taro can still be developed considering that Taro still has tourism potential that is very possible to be developed.

Tabanan Regency has a high prospect in the development of tourism and its complementary facilities. Tourism village is the alternative tourism products that can provide the development of rural areas that are certainly sustainable for the future. Timpag Village is one of the villages which located in Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency which has several tourism potentials such as nature, cultures, and the local communities. The development of Rural Tourism in Timpag Village has a high value to be a tourist attraction but the reality this village has not been able to be a developed as a rural tourism. Based on these problems this research aims to determine “Development Strategies of Rural Tourism Based Local Community in Timpag Village, Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency Bali.” The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis supported by IFAS and EFAS analysis in designing a strategy for developing local community-based tourism villages used SWOT analysis. Data collection techniques are using the method of observation, interviews, library research. The result show the design of alternative strategies to develop community-based tourism villages that can be applied in the development of Rural Tourism in Timpag Village. There are six altrenative strategys that can be applied such as attractions development based on tourism potential, local communities involvement , tourism facilities development, tourism organisation development, improve the traditional security system, and improve the ability of communities about tourism development. Therefore, local communities need to preserve the tourism potential that is owned as a rural tourism product. Keywords: Rural Tourism, Community Based Tourism, and Strategy

This study aimed to determine the marketing activities of pilgrim package tour that have been performed by PT. Dongan Sahuta Tour and Travel, develop strategies and also marketing programs that can be implemented by the company. Data collection by observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature study. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis, analysis of the Likert scale and SWOT analysis approach. The results obtained there are four teen indicators of strengths, weaknesses of tree indicators, four indicators of opportunities and four indicators threats. Marketing strategies that can be implemented by the firm such as 1)create and develop a quality product, 2)provide rebates to customers who have used the services of PT. Dongan Sahuta Tour and Travel several times.The advice given are more active in the promotion by giving rebates, conduct marketing activities as E-commers, expand cooperation with business trips or individuals.

In modern times, the potential opportunities of the regions are studied using  different methodological approaches to achieve sustainable socio-economic development,  and zoning is carried out in different directions to stimulate their future activities. The  zoning is based on the demand for available resources and takes into account the level of  socio-economic development of the region. At present, the study of tourism in the Republic of Azerbaijan by regions is encouraging  attention due to its relevance. However, research work on the identification of tourism zones in the country and the zoning of these  areas is weak. From this point of view, the article studies the tourism potential of Gusar region and provides a scheme for its tourismrecreation zoning which meets present-day requirements and attracts attention due to its relevance. The article analyses the development  strategy of tourism, which is a new and promising field in the Republic of Azerbaijan, identifies the main directions of this strategy,  and explores ways to solve existing problems. For this purpose, first, the criteria for zoning of tourism and recreation resources were  determined; then natural and anthropogenic tourism resources were assessed through the example of Gusar region; information on  natural and historical-architectural monuments of interest to tourists was provided; the number of hotels operating in the region over  the past five years, the number of rooms, full hotel capacity and overnight stays, as well as the income, expenses, and the difference between them were made on the basis of statistical and comparative analysis. Based on the information obtained, for the first time, a  “Zoning Map of Tourism and Recreation Resources of Gusar Region” was compiled; the strengths and weaknesses of the tourism sector  were identified, and future threats and opportunities for the development of this sector were analysed by means of the SWOT analysis.  According to the analysis, the strengths of the region included the favourable economic and geographical position, the availability of  unique natural and historical-architectural monuments, the availability of natural and ecological conditions to provide recreation for  tourists, and opportunities for ecological, rural, religious, trekking, and other tourism types, etc. Weaknesses included the concentration  of hotels mainly in the region’s centre, insufficient promotion of tourist attractions, poor level of service and vocational training, lack  of guides, etc. The opportunities were high tourism potential, organisation and development of local tourist routes, an abundance of  labour resources, etc., while the threats included the aggravation of the geopolitical situation in the border areas, the intensification of  natural disasters, etc.

Octopus Dive Penida is one of the first local dive centers in Nusa Penida that provides international diving facilities (PADI, ADSI,SSI) with professional instructors. This study discusses the marketing strategy adopted by Octopus Dive. The sample of this research is tourists who have visited and used the services of diving / snorkeling in Octopus Dive Penida. The sample selection technique used purposive sampling with 168 respondents. The technique of collecting data is done in several ways, discussing, observing, interviewing, questionnaires, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique was done by quantitative descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. Resulting in a marketing SWOT strategy from variable marketing mix 7 P that is, SO (Strengths – Opportunities) strategy  is doing Brand Positioning as a quality dive operator, doing good relations with the community and improving the quality of Human Resources. WO (Weakness -Opportunities) strategy is to expand business / office locations, educate tourists, re-conduct price analysis and participate in international and national events. ST (Strenghts -Threats) strategy is to innovate services / services for tourists, create dive tourism package programs that don't exist in other dive operators. WT (Weakness -Threats) strategy is to conduct a site analysis to complement offices and innovations in market price adjustments.

Kediri City is known by the name of the “Kota Tahu” because many tofu scattered craftsmen. There is a production center area know precisely in the village of Tinalan Kediri. Whose citizens produce tofu and dairy. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the implementation of the development of tofu village in Kelurahan Tinalan Kota Kediri become an educational tourism area to make various processed tofu. Researchers collect data in the field by acting as an active instrument. Researchers use data collection techniques through interviews, observations, Forum Group Discussion (FGD) and documentation. The data analysis used is an interactive analysis model. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Analysis of data used include data reduction, data presentation, withdrawal conclusion/verification and validity of data is done with the trust test, acquisition, dependency and certainty and SWOT analysis. Data collection techniques are conducted with interviews, documentation and observations. Based on the results of the research, the development strategy can be concluded in the education tourism Kampung Tahu that promote promotion through mass media, social media and web. Building infrastructures such as providing adequate parking space, making the tourist attractions processed products know and involve the community in the management of tours. With the proper development strategy saw from increased strength and opportunities as well as minimizing weaknesses and avoiding threats, the educational tourism object of the tofu village that located in Kelurahan Tinalan subdistrict Pesantren Kediri City will be able to Compete with other attractions.
