The article highlights the new conditions of providing future teachers with targeted training to master the competence of safe life for children; the new aspects of the concept of "competence of a person's safe life" is determined, the structural components of the preparedness of future teachers for activities aimed at building a system of conscious actions and actions of the younger generation for self-preservation in all spheres of life are revealed. The purpose of the article is to reveal the need to optimize teacher training to safety aspects of their activities, determine the essence of the formation of competence of safe life of the participants in the educational process and experimentally test new pedagogical conditions of training future teachers to form the competence of safe life of children. To achieve this goal, general scientific methods of theoretical level were used: analysis of scientific literature on the safe existence of the individual, didactic modelling of educational conditions and forecasting of learning outcomes, as well as methods of empirical level: observation, interviews, questionnaires, testing, etc. The results of diagnosing the state of readiness of future teachers for the formation of safe competence in the life of the younger generation are presented. Purposeful work on the development of those indicators of readiness of future teachers to form the competence of safe living of the younger generation, which, according to the diagnosis, were underdeveloped (at low and medium levels), contributed to a significant improvement in EG compared to the results in CG. The international significance of the article is due to the new requirements for school safety in conditions of increased stress, hyperinformation, bullying and other destructive factors requiring scientific solutions. The authors propose a way to optimize educational conditions, which hypothetically should improve the above-mentioned competencies and become the basis for further improvement of life safety, educational and professional activities.

Being a great jurist and influential scholar with seminal works on hadith, theology, biography and jurisprudence, al-Nawawī’s (d. 1277) views on epidemics are of great significance in these days of the pandemic. This article explores his views and explanations vis-à-vis epidemic to find his perspectives on balance between qadr (predestination) and ḥadhar (precaution) by conducting a content analysis of his various texts. In this article, the authors mainly referred to his texts Sharaḥ Muslim, Riyaḍ al-Ṣāliḥīn, al-Majmūʿ Sharaḥ Muhadhdhab, Rawḍat al-Ṭālibīn and al- Adhkār al-Muntakhab. This study substantiates that in the view of al-Nawawī, Islam postulates a balanced position between taking precaution and faith in Allah’s decrees in dealing with the situations of an epidemic. Thus, it holistically complements the concepts of qadr and hadhar to guide people towards leading a faithful and safe life in the trying times of epidemic.  Keywords: Qadr, Ḥadhar, Precaution, Predestination, Al-Nawawī, Hadith, Epidemic. Large and rapidly growing abdominal tumors endanger vital prognosis in neonates. Sometimes, quickly worsening patients’ clinical conditions demand surgical decision-making that cannot wait for precise histological diagnosis. There is neither consensus nor rules to manage these situations. We presented our experience with five patients and we looked in the literature for the best possible management of such rare disease. Laparostomy should be considered only as a safe-life procedure and if the liver is affected by the tumor and a coagulopathy is present, the prognosis is often compromised.

In engineering applications, fatigue phenomenon is a key issue and needs to be analyzed in the beginning of design phase in case of any component exposed to alternating loading on operation otherwise catastrophic fatigue failure may cause. Component can be designed with safe-life, fail-safe, and damage tolerant approach based on whether redundant load path and damage sensitive. Before starting analyzing the structure, material allowable data needs to be presented in a reliable way to predict fatigue life of components. SN curves with presented confidence levels are the robust approach to make a prediction on safe life of a structure in terms of fatigue. In this point, there are so many approaches to determine fatigue limit of materials and issue shall be handled by statistical manner. In literature, different staircase and curve fitting methods were presented to estimate endurance limit of materials and some reliability manuscript published. In this paper, fatigue limit of AISI 4340 steel will be investigated through most convinced staircase and curve fitting approaches and their reliability will be queried.

BACKGROUND: Concern about the introduction of young adult smoking is increasing, perhaps because young adults have become a major tobacco marketing target. To solve this issue, both Bali and Taiwan have imposed local regulations on smoke-free areas. Concern about the legalization of young adult smoking is increasing, possibly because young adults have become a major marketing target for tobacco. Both Bali and Taiwan have placed local restrictions on smoke-free areas to solve this issue. AIM: This study will analyze the social marketing strategies used to impact young adults in Indonesia and Taiwan focusing specifically on aspects of the social marketing strategy, including channel analysis, market segmentation and consumer analysis, product, price, location and promotion considerations, as well as the implementation and evaluation. METHODS: This research employed a qualitative approach. Qualitative inquiry is a way of analysis by understanding the meaning of individuals or groups in social problems or human problems. The process comprises questions and procedures. Data collection was conducted by face-to-face interviews. The basic data for this paper came from face-to-face interviews with local government officials, local community leaders and members of the NGO community. RESULTS: The study found that 4P (Product, Price, Place, and Promotions) with the additional +2P (Partnership and Policy) elements of social marketing are employed by social marketing in Bali and Taiwan. The product refers to the principle of a safe life, in which it is easier to avoid than to cure. Price relates to the shift in behavior and the avoidance of early smokers, from smoking to stopping. The distribution networks used in Bali concentrate more on support for families and neighborhoods. CONCLUSION: The social marketing strategy using 4P (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion) and additional +2P (Partnership and Policy) elements is an effective model both in Taiwan and Bali. The commodity on the market is the concept of a safe life, where prevention is better than cure. The price is the shift in action, from smoking to stopping, and the prevention of early smoking. The two countries also include other parties, such as schools and community groups, to collaborate.
