Abstract Classic implementation of calorie restriction (CR) in laboratory animals increases health and longevity in most model organisms. Traditionally, chronic CR is the reduction of daily energy intake without malnutrition. Recently, paradigms have emerged that recapitulate some of the beneficial aspects of this intervention, avoiding some of its challenges. The length of daily fasting length and periodicity have emerged as potential drivers behind CR’s beneficial health effects. Numerous strategies and eating patterns, including prolonged periods of fasting, have been successfully developed to mimic many of CR’s benefits without its austerity. These new feeding protocols range from short mealtimes designed to interact with our circadian system (daily time-restricted feeding) to more extended fasting regimens known as intermittent fasting. We will discuss the current status of knowledge on different strategies to reap the benefits of CR on metabolic health in rodent models and humans without the rigor of chronic reductions in caloric intake.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, all people in Indonesia must limit social interaction. In addition, this social restriction rule requires shopping centers to close, making consumers have to switch to making purchases online. This study aims to measure the most fit overall interaction relationship between the characteristics of shopping motivation and online promotion on compulsive buying. Primary data was obtained from a questionnaire that was filled out online by 246 respondents domiciled in Jabodetabek who met the requirements, namely buying clothes in April-July 2020. The data were analyzed using the F test and beta-beta coefficient test to determine the suitability and influence of each aspect. The test results show that hedonic shopping motivation has no suitability and is not influenced by online promotion of compulsive buying. The three dimensions of shopping motivation have compatibility and are directly influenced by online promotion, namely utilitarian motivation, peer influence, and social comparison. The three dimensions of motivation are influenced by online promotion, the dimensions of the discount size and time restriction. Based on this, the discount size and time restriction promotion methods are the most effective online promotion strategies to attract buyers.

Abstract Introduction The culture plays an important role in sexuality. Although each ethnocultural group has its own sexual attitudes, in multicultural contexts, the acculturation process could modify the sexual attitudes of these groups. The aim of the study was to perform a systematic literature review of the studies that have examined the relationship between acculturation and sexual attitudes. Method The review was carried out in the ProQuest and Scopus databases. There was no time restriction in literature search. Results A total of 25 studies met the inclusion criteria. The year of publication of the studies ranged from 1982 to 2020. The studies were conducted in the USA and/or in Canada and included mainly Asians and Latinos/Hispanics. Proxy indicators, unidimensional, and bidimensional measures were used to measure acculturation. In general, results show that mainstream acculturation is positively related to liberal or positive sexual attitudes. Relevant interaction and mediation effects were also found: (1) mainstream dimension moderates the relationship between heritage dimension and sexual attitudes, (2) heritage dimension moderates the relationship between mainstream dimension and sexual attitudes, (3) acculturation moderates the relation between gender and sexual attitudes, (4) gender moderates the relation between acculturation and sexual attitudes, (5) the ethnocultural origin moderates the relationship between acculturation and sexual attitudes, and (6) sex guilt mediated the relationship between mainstream acculturation and sexual desire. Conclusion The acculturation process is related to sexual attitudes. Policy Implications Knowing the acculturation process could be important to achieve greater equity in sexual health among different groups.

Background: In recent years, the incidence of male infertility has increased worldwide. It is necessary to study the factors that influence male infertility in each area/region for better management. Objective: To determine the factors affecting male infertility in the Iranian male population. Materials and Methods: An online search was conducted in electronic databases including PubMed, Google Scholar, SID, and Scopus to identify articles on the factors associated with male infertility, published in English and Persian. The keywords used to perform the search included “factor”, “epidemiology”, “causes of infertility”, and “male infertility”. The search was conducted without a time restriction, up to April 2020. Results: The search resulted in a total number of 691 studies. After an assessment of the articles, finally 14 studies were included in this study with a total number of 26,324 infertile males. The factors associated with male infertility included semen abnormalities, varicocele and testis disorder, smoking, exposure to heat, obesity, anabolic steroids, vascular abnormalities, anti-spermatogenesis factors, antidepressants, taking ranitidine and cimetidine, penile discharge and genital ulcers, painful micturition, occupational factors, alcohol, chronic disease, sexual disorder, Surgical and urological diseases, genetic factors and herpes infection. Among these, the semen and varicocele disorders were common in most studies. Conclusion: The present review suggests that the factors affecting male infertility in Iran are similar to those reported from other countries. The results of this study can be used in adopting appropriate strategies for infertility management in Iran. Key words: Male, Infertility, Sterility, Urogenital diseases.

Astaxanthin (AST) is a biomolecule known for its powerful antioxidant effect, which is considered of great importance in biochemical research and has great potential for application in cosmetics, as well as food products that are beneficial to human health and medicines. Unfortunately, its poor solubility in water, chemical instability, and low oral bioavailability make its applications in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical field a major challenge for the development of new products. To favor the search for alternatives to enhance and make possible the use of AST in formulations, this article aimed to review the scientific data on its application in delivery systems. The search was made in databases without time restriction, using keywords such as astaxanthin, delivery systems, skin, cosmetic, topical, and dermal. All delivery systems found, such as liposomes, particulate systems, inclusion complexes, emulsions, and films, presented peculiar advantages able to enhance AST properties, among which are stability, antioxidant potential, biological activities, and drug release. This survey showed that further studies are needed for the industrial development of new AST-containing cosmetics and topical formulations.

With the ever-increasing demands on decentralization and transparency of cloud storage, CP-ABE (Ciphertext Policy-Attribute-Based Encryption) has become a promising technology for blockchain-enabled data sharing methods due to its flexibility. However, real-world blockchain applications usually have some special requirements like time restrictions or power limitations. Thus, decryption outsourcing is widely used in data sharing scenarios and also causes concerns about data security. In this paper, we proposed a secure access control scheme based on CP-ABE, which could share contents during a particular time slot in blockchain-enabled data sharing systems. Specifically, we bind the time period with both ciphertexts and the keys to archive the goal of only users who have the required attributes in a particular time slot can decrypt the content. Besides, we use time slots as a token to protect the data and access control scheme when users want to outsource the decryption phase. The security analysis shows that our scheme can provide collusion resistance ability under a time restriction, and performance evaluations indicate that our scheme uses less time in decryption compared to other schemes while ensuring security.

To prevent re-infection and provide a hermetic seal of the root canal system, an endodontist must aim to produce a void-free obturation. This review aimed to compare the completeness of root canal obturation between the two most prevalent methods—cold lateral condensation and warm gutta-percha techniques—using micro-CT (PROSPERO reg no. 249815). Materials and Methods: A search of Scopus, Embase, PubMed (Medline via PubMed), and Web of Science databases was done without any time restriction according to the PRISMA protocol. Articles that compared both techniques and were published in English were included. Data was extracted and the risk of bias was assessed using an adapted tool based on previous studies. Results: A total of 141 studies were identified by the search. Following the screening and selection of articles, 9 studies were included for review. Data was extracted manually and tabulated. Most studies had a moderate risk of bias. None determined operator skill in both methods before comparison. The data extracted from the included studies suggests that both techniques produce voids in the obturation. The thermoplasticized gutta-percha techniques may result in fewer voids compared to cold lateral condensation. Conclusion: Considering the limitations of the included studies, it was concluded that neither technique could completely obturate the root canal. Thermoplasticized gutta-percha techniques showed better outcomes despite a possible learning bias in favor of cold lateral condensation. Establishing operator skills before comparison may help reduce this bias.

In the process of logistic activities of common storage and common distribution, due to problems such as urban traffic congestion period, parking restriction, working time restriction, and road restriction time, people often agree on the arrival time for customer orders, so that the receiving and delivering parties can connect in time and speed up unloading and distribution. Therefore, considering the actual distribution operation, it is necessary to consider the location and layout of common storage and multichannel common distribution in time windows. This paper takes multichannel common storage and common distribution as the research object, combines with the actual distribution situation, considers the location and distribution route optimization of the common storage and common distribution mode under the condition of time windows, takes the form of linking time windows with distribution time completion efficiency, and forms a reverse constraint on the objective function by time completion efficiency, thus realizing the double-objective optimization of “minimizing the total cost and satisfying the time windows.” In addition, through the comparison of various intelligent algorithms, find that the squirrel search algorithm (SSA) has more stable performance and better solution results.
