A Voltage lift performance is an excellent role to DC/DC conversion topology. The Voltage Lift Multilevel Inverter (VL-MLI) topology is suggested with minimal number of components compared to the conventional multilevel inverter (MLI). In this method, the Modified Particle Swarm Optimization (MPSO) conveys a primary task for the VL-MLI using Half Height (H-H) method, it determine the required optimum switching angles to eliminate desired value of harmonics. The simulation circuit for fifteen level output uses single switch voltage-lift inverter fed with resistive and inductive loads (R & L load). The power quality is developed by voltage-lift multilevel inverter with minimized harmonics under the various Modulation Index (MI) while varied from 0.1 up to 1. The circuit is designed in a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), which includes the MPSO rules for fast convergence to reduce the lower order harmonics and finds the best optimum switching angle values. To report this problem the H-H has implemented with MPSO to reduce minimum Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) for simulation circuit using Proteus 7.7 simulink tool. Due to the absence of multiple switches, filter and inductor element exposes for novelty of the proposed system. The comparative analysis has been carried-out with existing optimization and modulation methods.

Abstract As for micro-particles (microspheres or microcylinders) that form Photonic nanojet (PNJ) in near fied,a curved truncated dielectric microcylinder structure (CSTDM) is investigated by finite element method(FEM) which can form ultralong PNJ with the longest effective length:209.49λ. We found that changing parameter h of structure can realize long dynamic range tuning of the effective length of PNJ. The effective length varies quasi-periodically with h; the law of the variation of main indicators of microcylinder are further discussed, such as the effective length, the working distance, peak electric field intensity and full width half height

A total of 200 Guinea fowl (Numidae meleagris) eggs were obtained from guinea fowl flock at the age of 42 weeks of age, which are breeding at an altitude of 1240 m in the Wild Animals Breeding Station affiliated to Ministry of Forest and Water Affairs in Yozgat/Turkey. Eggs were taken at a resolution of 72 pixels per inch and 5184 × 3456 pixels in size, with the individual egg weights. Average Projection area (16,07 cm2), Perimeter (15,82 cm), Circularity (0,81), Height (5,17 cm), Width (4,04 cm), Mean grey value (82,82), Semi axis (2,02 cm), First long half height (2,96 cm), Second short half height (2,20 cm) values were determined by numerical image analysis. Mean Elongation (1,28), Shape Index (78,27) were calculated over the obtained data. Surface area (55,43 cm2), Height (5,16 cm), Width (3,77 cm), Elongation (1,37), Shape Index (73,01), Volume (40,14 cm3), Surface / Volume ratio (1,38), Shell weight (3,17 g), Shell thickness (0,28 mm), pore numbers (6666,25; 5132,39; 5011,12), pore density (120,32; 92,56; 90,31), Yellow ratio (14,85), Yellow Weight (5,95 g), Albumen Weight (30,75), Albumen ratio (77,21) parameters have been calculated using individual egg weights. Eggs were divided into 3 groups as 90 in terms of gray value, eggs 79 in terms of shape index, and 43 in terms of weight. The effects on the properties were investigated. As a result, it is thought that the data obtained can be used in scientific studies.

Bioactive peptides are increasingly used in clinical practice. Reversed-phase chromatography using formic or trifluoroacetic acid in the mobile phase is the most widely used technique for their analytical control. However, sometimes it does not prove sufficient to solve challenging chromatographic problems. In the search for alternative elution modes, the dynamic electrostatic repulsion reversed-phase was evaluated to separate eight probe peptides characterised by different molecular weights and isoelectric points. This technique, which involves TBAHSO4 in the mobile phase, provided the lowest asymmetry and peak width at half height values and the highest in peak capacity (about 200 for a gradient of 30 min) and resolution concerning the classic reversed-phase. All analyses were performed using cutting-edge columns developed for peptide separation, and the comparison of the chromatograms obtained shows how the dynamic electrostatic repulsion reversed-phase is an attractive alternative to the classic reversed-phase.

In this present investigation, a packed-filter bioreactor was employed to produce hydrogen utilizing an expired soft drink as a substrate. The effects of feeding substrate concentrations ranging from 19.51, 10.19, 5.34, 3.48, to 2.51 g total sugar/L were examined, and the position of the packed filter installed in the bioreactor at dimensionless heights (h/H) of 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4 was studied. The results revealed that with a substrate concentration of 20 g total sugar/L and a hydraulic retention time (HRT) of 1 h, a packed filter placed at the half-height position of the bioreactor (h/H 2/4) has the optimal hydrogen production rate, hydrogen yield, and average biomass concentration in the bioreactor, resulting in 55.70 ± 2.42 L/L/d, 0.90 ± 0.06 mol H2/mol hexose, and 17.86 ± 1.09 g VSS/L. When feeding substrate concentrations varied from 20, 10, to 5 g total sugar/L with the packed-filter position at h/H 2/4, Clostridium sp., Clostridium tyrobutyricum, and Bifidobacterium crudilactis were the predominant bacteria community. Finally, it was discovered that the packed-filter bioreactor can produce stable hydrogen in high-strength organic effluent.

This paper presents the design of the Multi-Level Inverter circuit based on the switched ladder topology using the angle events for the level changes. The change of events for the inverter is formulated using the Half Height Algorithm. The VHDL code is utilized for the generation of the angles as digital equivalence with the resolution of 27 bits. In ladder topology, there are several types of inverter namely Binary Ladder Inverter, Ye Progression, Luo Progression. Among all these topologies, the Trinary Ladder topology is advantageous for the number of levels attainment with the less number of switches. Also, the carrier-based modulation is erroneous with the High THD% and low Voltage Parameter values. The use of the non-carrier half-height method manipulates the accurate angle to measure acceptable THD %. The proposed Trinary Switched Ladder Inverter is cross-compiled with Xilinx Vivado and Matlab Simulink Took to evaluate the parameters such as THD%, VRMS, VPEAK, for the 27-level. The parametric analysis exhibits improvement in the proposed Ladder topology with cost, size, and performance when synthesized using the Xilinx Vivado tool.

The paper presents the results of research and development of a high-speed brightness amplifier based on copper bromide vapor active medium, with a pulse repetition frequency of up to 200 kHz. This became possible due to the use of the reduced input energy into the discharge mode (less than 60 µJ / cm3 per pulse), by shortening the leading edge of the high-voltage pump pulse to 20 ns and the duration (at half-height) to 30 ns.

Structural colors engineering as a promising research area provides a high-resolution and environmental-friendly sustainable colors implementation. Here, metasurface-based concept was used to design waveguides and gratings of Si3N4 material on silicon dioxide substrates. The shift of reflection peaks can be controlled by structural parameters and efficiencies exceeded 90% with half height and width less than 10 nm. This induced structural color with superior saturation. Moreover, such nanostructures showed good sensitivity to polarization angle and incident angle of incident light. The proposed coloring devices look promising for applications in active color displays, imaging devices, and anti-counterfeiting and so on.
