The formation of a diploid zygote is a highly complex cellular process that is entirely controlled by maternal gene products stored in the egg cytoplasm. This highly specialized transcriptional program is tightly controlled at the chromatin level in the female germline. As an extreme case in point, the massive and specific ovarian expression of the essential thioredoxin Deadhead (DHD) is critically regulated in Drosophila by the histone demethylase Lid and its partner, the histone deacetylase complex Sin3A/Rpd3, via yet unknown mechanisms. Here, we identified Snr1 and Mod(mdg4) as essential for dhd expression and investigated how these epigenomic effectors act with Lid and Sin3A to hyperactivate dhd. Using Cut&Run chromatin profiling with a dedicated data analysis procedure, we found that dhd is intriguingly embedded in an H3K27me3/H3K9me3-enriched mini-domain flanked by DNA regulatory elements, including a dhd promoter-proximal element essential for its expression. Surprisingly, Lid, Sin3a, Snr1 and Mod(mdg4) impact H3K27me3 and this regulatory element in distinct manners. However, we show that these effectors activate dhd independently of H3K27me3/H3K9me3, and that dhd remains silent in the absence of these marks. Together, our study demonstrates an atypical and critical role for chromatin regulators Lid, Sin3A, Snr1 and Mod(mdg4) to trigger tissue-specific hyperactivation within a unique heterochromatin mini-domain.

Abstract: The study aimed to examine school drug education and agile leadership and lawlessness factors in children involving adults. This report led to a study on child narcotics crimes. 17 district court decisions from 2017-2020 are the unit of analysis, using the Question Nvivo-12 plus software process. The aim of using Nvivo-12 plus is to analyze data with a data coding model.  In addition, the writers also interviewed main witnesses, including judges who prosecuted child narcotics cases. . The data analysis procedure includes a validity test using triangulation of sources, time, and place. Grouping of data in the form of images and tables that have been processed for analysis with three data analysis techniques through percentages, making explanations, and comparing with theories or previous research results. According to the findings of the study, drugs education for youngsters involved in narcotics cases is critical. Furthermore, economic constraints, unsatisfactory home conditions, invites from acquaintances, and the influence of social media are all variables that lead to children committing narcotics offenses. In addition to these factors, the authors also found something new that makes children entangled in narcotics crimes, namely the involvement of adults who use children in the narcotics trade. For these factors, agile leadership is need, especially adult leaders with sensitivity, leadership unity, and quality of optimizing resources to protect children from the effects of drug abuse and the need to build particular educational institutions for children involved in crime. So children are given adequate education and skills, so they are not entangled again in drug cases..   Keywords: Drug Education, Violation of The Law, Criminal Act, Leadership Agility

Research literature consistently suggests that EFL (English as a foreign language) students’ motivation is affected by some teaching factors (Falout et al., 2009; Kim et al., 2018; Lamb, 2017). The main purpose of this study is to identify exactly which teaching factors adversely affect students’ motivation to study English at higher secondary (HS) level (grade 11 and 12) in Bangladeshi EFL context. To collect qualitative data an interview protocol was developed based on the teaching factors identified in some selected studies conducted in Asian EFL contexts (Kikuchi, 2009; Sakai & Kikuchi, 2009; Trang & Baldauf, 2007; Quadir, 2017). A total number of 40 grade 12 completers were interviewed to collect students’ perceptions. Miles and Huberman’s (1994) qualitative data analysis procedure was applied to analyze the data. From the analysis five distinct factors, which adversely affect students’ motivation, are identified in descending order: teachers’ instructional styles and teaching method, private tutoring, teachers’ personality and behavior, teachers’ competence and classroom management, and teachers’ attitude and commitment. Most of these factors comprise further sub-components which detect the underlying sources of students’ disinterest. For amelioration of the situations some feasible implications are discussed addressing the identified factors.

The research method that is used in this research is simple random sampling where the sample size of this study is around 30 educators which focus on the educators that engage in online teaching at the age range between 21 years old until 60 years old. The data was collected through a questionnaire and the questionnaire is divided into three different sections. The data analysis procedure used in this research is frequency analysis to offer the researcher to analyze the data of the questionnaire. It was identified majority of the respondents are facing challenges with online teaching which decrease their motivation and productivity and contribute to low satisfaction and outcomes in their delivery of lectures.

KWL strategy is a reading strategy used by teachers or educators to improve the students' reading skills by activating their prior knowledge, encouraging their motivation, and making the student comprehend the text holistically. The purpose of this research is to (1) apply the K-W-L Strategy in Reading  Islamic Economics Text (2) know   How do the students apply the K-W-L strategy in reading Islamic economics text. This research is conducted in a descriptive qualitative design. The data is collected by observation and documents. Data analysis procedure based on Creswell, Rossman & Marshall, 1) Organizing and familiarizing 2) Coding and reducing 3) Interpreting and representing. The results present that the application of K-W-L strategy is made through three steps, namely 1) Pre-reading, where the teacher or researcher created a good condition of the classroom and introducing passage, and the students filling the chart in K column 2) Whilst reading, the teacher leads the student read the text and started to write down what they want to learn in W column 3) Post-reading in which the students started to comprehend the passage, make a conclusion and stated what they have learned from text based on their comprehension in L column. The study also concluded that the KWL strategy was appropriate in teaching reading on Islamic Economics Text, and it can be applied in reading for any level of English learners.

The methodology section of thesis manuscripts is one of the important parts that should be well written. From this premise, a genre analysis was conducted to 30 Master of Arts in Language Teaching (MALT-English) research articles of the Graduate School in University of Southern Mindanao (USM). The study aimed to determine the rhetorical move structure and the moves that dominate in the methodology section of the said research articles. Results revealed that the methodology section has 5 moves with corresponding steps. These include Move 1: Introducing the Method chapter; Move 2: Presenting the Design of the Study; Move 3: Describing data collection method; Move 4: Clarifying Data Analysis Procedure; and Move 5. Establishing the ethical considerations and trustworthiness of the study. Obligatory steps identified are  Pointing out the research design used in the study under Move 2,  Presenting the Design of the Study; Describing the locale, participants/respondents and data source/research materials and research instrument/s; and Describing methods and steps in data collection under move 3, data collection method. While the moves are similar in 30 articles, there are steps which are interchanged and are either evident or not evident in some articles. This implied that writers employ varied steps in writing the methodology section even if they are of similar discipline.
