This research is a type of descriptive qualitative conducted at Islamic Secondary School at Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. The results of the research show that achievement-based management conducted by Islamic Secondary School at Kendari is divided into four stages. First, the planning stage by determining achievement targets, namely planning the activities to be carried out, looking at the race event, determining the coaching strategy and grouping students. Second, the stage of achievement-based student recruitment is the restriction of student quotas every year, special achievement pathways, academic tests, personality/ psychological tests and health tests. The stage of implementation of performance-based development through the construction of academic and non-academic fields as well as religious construction. The last stage is an achievement-based evaluation conducted via online, live review, parenting and PESONA (Week of Arts, Olympics and Sports) at the end of the year. Add the implication of the study here.

Background: Caring behavior is influenced by psychological factors, including the characteristics of personality. However, psychological test results for nurses' recruitment are not optimal for nursing resource development. This study aimed to determine the relationship between personality characteristics and nurses' caring behavior in hospitals.Design and Methods: A cross-sectional design was adopted involving 153 nurses of a private hospital in Jakarta selected by convenience sampling technique. Data were also collected from the Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI-24) and Myers-Briggs Type Indicators (MBTI) test results. Statistical analysis using the one-way ANOVA to identify differences in nurses' CBI scores based on MBTI personality. Results: The results study indicate that most of the nurses were traditionalists (75.16%), and the average CBI score (85.43±5.94) was equivalent to 85%, which means that nurses' caring behavior was good. There were differences in the scores of caring behavior among personality characteristics; however, these differences were not statistically significant (p = .320; α= .05). Furthermore, the post-hoc test analysis showed that the conceptualizer nurses had the highest caring behavior score, while the experiencers had the lowest. Conclusions: Personality characteristics, as measured by MBTI,  are not related to the caring behavior of nurses. One possible reason for this result is that the MBTI does not specifically measure caring personality. Psychological tests on personality characteristics are used in career development and nurse placement. This study recommends that human resource management in healthcare use more specific tools to measure caring personality and psychological tests in healthcare staff recruitment for better-humanized healthcare services.

Confidence helps to see life from the positive side and helps to find new experiences. This self-confidence has not been well embedded in slow learner students. Slow learner students have low self-confidence. One of the reasons for low self-esteem is discrimination and bullying at school. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of self-confidence of slow learner students. This study uses a quantitative research approach. The research method used is a survey method. The respondents of this study were slow learner students in grade IV who had gone through psychological tests. The number of slow learner students is five students based on psychological tests. Data collection techniques using observation and questionnaires. This study tested the validity of the data by using the credibility test. Testing the credibility of the data is done through triangulation and using reference materials. This study uses data analysis techniques Miles and Huberman models. Qualitative data analysis was carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions/verification. The result of the research is that the teacher still does not understand the characteristics of the slow learner students. Slow learners feel that the teacher does not care. Slow learners do not understand the material taught by the teacher. Slow learner students tend to be quiet and look down while studying. The self-confidence analysis shows that all students are slow learners in the category of not being confident.

Psychology tests are tools used to evaluate specific aspects of individual psyche and behavior, in clinical practice and for research purposes. They are validated and standardized both in the administration procedures and interpretation of results. Nowadays, most of these tests are questionnaires administered to patients on paper support. The patient’s answers to the questionnaires constitute a basis for self-presentation and self-awareness at the beginning of the therapeutic path. The computer is a valuable aid allowing a quickly consultation of all the answers and highlighting the most salient ones. The main aim of this work was to design, develop and test a computerized support tool for the interpretation of psychological tests that allow good interaction between groups of therapists sharing the same operating modes. The developed system allows: first the storing of the numerical values corresponding to the answers to the questionnaires of the patients; then it creates a complete ’Picture’ of the patient and allows the automatic computation of the correlation between the indexes of the various scales. The graphical correlations between scales can be also a valuable aid in finding the outliers, so patients far away from the trend line.

Aim. The aim of the study was to develop proposals for improving the administrative competencies in managers of health institutions. Material and methods. The main data for the study were obtained by questioning a group of managers of health institutions, namely state autonomous health care institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan. In total the questionnaire survey covered 31 health institutions. A total of 73 persons, including 31 heads of health institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan and 42 specialists from among the heads of departments and deputy chief physicians, who are the members of reserve of management personnel, participated in the questionnaire survey. Results and discussion. According to the data obtained, the group of heads of health institutions with the highest rating score differed from the representatives of health institutions with fewer rating scores by higher values of anticipatory statefulness. Among the heads of health institutions with the highest rating score, a higher level of overall anticipation competence was revealed, which allows us to conclude about the application of the algorithm of psychological tests for determining the level of anticipation competence to predict the effectiveness of the head when considering candidates for the appointment to the position of the head of a health institution. Conclusion. The developed algorithm of using the parameters of psychological tests to assess and predict the effectiveness of the respondent can be applied in the practice of the Ministry of Health, as a tool for human resource activities

Abstract Background: Recent studies have suggested that psychological factors are important components of successful return to sports (RTS) after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR). The purpose of this study was to survey physicians on their criteria used to determine readiness to RTS after ACLR and understand the significance of psychological factors on RTS.Methods: A survey was designed to understand the practices of clinicians managing rehabilitation after ACLR consisting of 25 questions divided in 3 different sections, including one section about psychological scores and factors affecting RTS. The survey was delivered to three North-American orthopaedic sports medicine organizations. Results: The total number of respondents was 113. 95% of respondents considered psychological tests at least “somewhat important” (33% “important”, 23% selected “very important”). Routine use of psychological tests in practice was only reported by 35% of respondents. The ACL-Return to Sport after Injury Scale was the most frequently used psychological test (23%). Fear of reinjury was considered the most common patient-cited psychological factor affecting RTS. Psychological factors ranked 8th out of 9 outcomes measures in determining readiness to RTS.Conclusion: This study demonstrates a discrepancy between the importance of psychological tests and the frequency of use in practice. Additional education on this topic, web-based applications and a multidisciplinary approach may increase the usage of psychological tests to determine RTS after ACLR.

AbstractThere are three approaches to studying designers – through their cognitive profile, design behaviors, and design artifacts (e.g., quality). However, past work has rarely considered all three data domains together. Here we introduce and describe a framework for a comprehensive approach to engineering design, and discuss how the insights may benefit engineering design research and education. To demonstrate the proposed framework, we conducted an empirical study with a solar energy system design problem. Forty-six engineering students engaged in a week-long computer-aided design challenge that assessed their design behavior and artifacts, and completed a set of psychological tests to measure cognitive competencies. Using a machine learning approach consisting of k-means, hierarchical, and spectral clustering, designers were grouped by similarities on the psychological tests. Significant differences were revealed between designer groups in their sequential design behavior, suggesting that a designer's cognitive profile is related to how they engage in the design process.

Behavioral and neuroimaging studies show that people trust and collaborate with others based on a quick assessment of the facial appearance. Based on the morphological characteristics of the face, i.e., features, shape, or color, it is possible to determine health, attractiveness, trust, and some personality traits. The study attempts to indicate the features influencing the perception of attractiveness and trust. In order to select individual factors, a model of backward stepwise logistic regression was used, analyzing the results of the psychological tests and the attractiveness and trust survey. Statistical analysis made it possible to select the most important personality traits related to attractiveness and trust assessments.
