One of the natural wonders of Prykarpatya is the village Starunia – with embalmed in ozokerite and well-preserved carcasses of mammoths and hairy rhinos and an active mud volcano, will undoubtedly delight us with new exploratory discoveries in the field of geology, paleontology and archeology. It is possible that here, together with large fossil mammals of the Ice Age, the remains of hunters on them – our ancestors Cro-Magnons – could be preserved. This discovery would have, without the slightest exaggeration, an international dimension. Therefore, it is necessary to continue the comprehensive study of Starunia, to promote it among environmentalists, scientists, students and schoolchildren. All this develops a love for native nature, encourages the preservation of its unique objects and historical and cultural heritage. The preparation of "Starunia" for the UNESCO World Geoparks Network by specialists of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUNG) in accordance with UNESCO requirements is highlighted by UNESCO Geoparks Program.According to these requirements to give the geological monument of nature "Starunia" the status of "geopark" it is necessary to study and give a standard description of all components of the environment: geological environment and endogeodynamic processes, relief (geomorphosphere) and dangerous exogeodynamic processes, hydro- and atmosphere, soil and plants cover, social environment, technosphere and their anthropogenic changes; assess the current environmental situation and develop environmental protection measures. This is not yet the case.In order to further study "Starunia" in IFNTUNG developed Regional Comprehensive Program for 2022–2023 "Starunia: from a natural monument to the geopark of the Ice Age", which was transferred to the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration and the Regional Council. Thus, the world-famous geological natural monument of national importance "Starunia" deserves a separate national program and shorter deadlines for its implementation, which would allow including "Starunia" in the world network of UNESCO geoparks.

We Are the Forest: Slovaks in the Mirror of the Ecological Initiative My sme lesThe aim of this article is to explore the common points between the ecological movement and citizenship by discussing My sme les, a Slovak citizens’ initiative to protect Slovak forests. The Slovaks’ involvement in nature conservation as demonstrated by the My sme les campaign was recognised here not only as a manifestation of global trends in changing ecological awareness but also as a reflection of the special bond between man and nature ingrained in Slovak culture and mentality. The ecological movement currently developing in new media forms in Slovakia was introduced with an analysis of various (mainly online and audio-visual) sources related to the My sme les campaign. The article highlights the influence of the Deep Ecology trend on Slovak activists and the projects they have implemented. The My sme les initiative is not only an appeal for the social responsibility of Slovaks when it comes to the devastation of native nature, but also proves to be an important step towards a deeper civic engagement with the community. The Slovak case provides confirmation of the main thesis of Deep Ecology, namely that humans are not above nature, but are an integral part of it. Thanks to the My sme les initiative, in the context of Slovak culture, the forest emerged as a new cultural symbol, polemical towards the mountains, traditionally interpreted in a national-cultural key. Jesteśmy lasem. Słowacy w lustrze inicjatywy ekologicznej My sme lesCelem artykułu jest zbadanie punktów wspólnych ruchu ekologicznego i postawy obywatelskiej poprzez omówienie słowackiej inicjatywy obywatelskiej na rzecz ochrony słowackich lasów My sme les. Dzięki inicjatywie My sme les las zaistniał w kontekście kultury słowackiej jako nowy symbol kulturowy, polemiczny wobec tradycyjnie interpretowanych gór w kluczu narodowo-kulturowym.

The article considers the content of the concept of «antheism» and based on the analysis of the text of the novel «Bread and Salt» by Mykhailo Stelmakh singles out its components, rooted in the minds of Ukrainians: the sacredness of the land; rootedness of Ukrainians in their native land; cost of the land; land as a living being; love for work on the land, and, at the same time, cruelty of the land and difficulty of work. In the article we start from the definition of the content of the concept of «antheism» by O. Shevel as an important feature of the mentality of Ukrainian philosophical worldview, based on the deep emotionality of Ukrainians, attitude to native nature, reflected in the material and spiritual culture of Ukraine. It was found that the selected components of the concept of «antheism» are embodied in the work as follows: the sacredness of the earth ( nursing earth, Mother Earth, Earth as a gift or God’s creation, a combination of the most important categories of being Home – Field – Temple and Faith – Hope – Love); rootedness of Ukrainians in their home ground (the land became part of people; people can give birth to bread); the value of land (in the work land is the highest value, it is more expensive than human life); earth as a living being (earth-woman, earth’s breast as mother’s breast, soothing human pain); love for work on the land (they taught to work on the land from an early age, work on it is the center of the child’s dream), and at the same time cruelty of the land and hard work (hard work that exhausted the farmer, destroyed his health, drained strength, and sometimes even killed). For Ukrainians, earth is manifested in all spheres of their lives from sacred to household. It includes a number of attributive elements: the cult of the earth, the magic of the word, the magic of the subject – everything that makes up the worldview of Ukrainians, the system of their values, everything that is embodied in the folklore and traditional culture of the people.

The purpose of this article is to reveal the work of the master of the extraordinary expressive landscape Ferdynand Ruszczyc. Because of the lack of knowledge of the topic, this goal seems relevant. The historical-biographical method served as the main method of research here. The author concludes that the work of Ferdynand Ruszczyc reveals the influence of Ivan Shishkin, and then Arkhip Kuindzhi. He was not only closely associated with the young Russian landscape school under the leadership of A.I. Kuindzhi in 1898–1905, but was also one of those who formed it and gave it its own unique identity. The dynamics of the artist from early works to later ones, his coloristic talent was remarkably manifested in such works as “Earth”, “Mill”, “Near the Church”, “Old Apple Trees”, etc. His works are characterized by a subtle combination of color and precise compositional completeness. The first Belarusian painter to lay the foundations of the national school of landscape painting, he was able to reveal the daily life of his people through the beauty of his native nature.

The article reveals the problem of forming the foundations of ecological culture in preschool children by means of musical art. Formation of the foundations of ecological culture occurs not only on the basis of accumulation of natural history knowledge, in preschool childhood this process proceeds more efficiently if it is based on sensory cognition of the beauty and harmony of nature, the motives of a respectful attitude towards nature crystallize in the experience of emotional and value experiences. The article authors consider the mechanisms of formation of a child’s ecological culture in the process of perceiving the artistic and figurative content of music. Sensual experience as the basis of cognition in art makes it possible to form a system of value experiences, including those associated with the child’s attitude to animate and inanimate nature. Emotional responsiveness to the beauty of music, works of art reflecting images of nature is associated with responsiveness in life. The need to protect, preserve and increase the wealth of native nature can be brought up in the experience of communicating with music, if the child experiences the content of the musical image as a personally significant event.

The paper presents the educational process in the Yakut family aimed at forming the ecological culture of children. Family environmental education is understood as the process of implementing various ecological projects in order to educate the younger generation of love and respect for native nature. In this paper, such an eco-project is the long-term joint activity of children and adults to study and conserve the species diversity of wild flowering plants on the territory of the sayylyk (summer) manor. The authors highlight factors that have a positive impact on children’s attitude towards environmental protection. The optimal ways to educate the ecological culture of children are determined. The research materials can be used by subject teachers to prepare lessons and increase pupils’ interest in practice-oriented activities.

The author analyzes Andrey Rumyantsev’s poetry for the purpose of determination of the means of expression of autobiographical images and motifs in the texts created in form of poetic reminiscences. Most careful attention is given to the compositions dedicated to parents, grandparents, and sister of the poet. Methodology leans on the basic principle of biographical method, according to which personality of the writer defines the specificity of his works. The conclusion is formulated that the main motifs of Andrey Rumyantsev’s autobiographical lyrics is “great guilt”, “repentance”, and “responsibility” that encompass all poetic reminiscences of his loved ones – the key images of autobiographical lyrics. The specific approaches in creation of autobiographical images and motifs are revealed. Thus, the common for all images is the stance on labor and possession of physical fortitude. All female images are united by the motif of the hardship of being a woman, as well as righteousness semanticized through the concepts of “patience” and “love”. The mail images resemble bogatyrs (heroes of the Russian epic poems); the author also emphasizes their unity with the native nature.

Changing trends in educational technology are one of the driving forces behind many of the new educational strategies Higher Education Institutions are introducing. These changes are frequently justified with the “digital native” nature of the current generation of students who have been surrounded by digital technology from the moment they were born and are expected to also feel comfortable to use and adopt technological tools for their learning purposes. There have been many studies trying to assess the veracity of this assumption, but we still do not have enough data to confirm or deny this willingness and aptitude or even assess if students benefit from a technologically supported approach to learning. More studies are therefore necessary, in particular in subject areas that are not so connected to the technology, like humanities, economics, and social sciences, where students cannot be expected to be so proficient in the use of those tools and therefore their technology adoption process might be dependent of other variables. This article intends to contribute to this effort by presenting a study that uses the UTAUT model to assess which variables influence the use and adoption of educational technologies’ tools by Higher Education Marketing students. The result showed that, for these students, Social Influence (or Social Factors) was the most relevant variable to determine their Behavioural Intention.
