This article presents the main approaches to considering the concept as one of the main elements of the picture of the world. Particular attention is paid to the typology of world pictures, reflecting the images of the surrounding reality, as well as the comparative characteristics of the concept and the concept. The article discusses two main approaches to the study of concepts - linguocognitive and linguocultural, emphasis is placed on the structure of the concept, according to these two approaches.

Survival and advancement of nations is attributed to their literatures. This is because literatures enable individuals to transcend the material life and be able to visualize the noble meanings and the world of aesthetics. Indeed, a language is the best level of describing self and others as it does not originate from the ego, but rather from the laws of the universe and existence. Moreover, it is not only a lexicon, but also a combination of words, indications, gestures, spaces, and imagery. It is, hence, possible to realize the significance of poetry as a definition of all the previous elements. Tashteer is a type of poetic art where a poet does not invent a new idea but rather adopts the idea of poetry by another poet. The poet follows the meter and rhyme set by the original poet, and thus is not allowed much space for creating a purpose apart from the original one. Therefore, a poet is confined to the predefined purpose and notion in terms of grammatical, syntactic and semantic aspects. The paper focuses on the study of the art of Tashteer of poet Ali al-Deeb who performed Tashteer on the poet of Abi Firaas (Araaka `Asaiyya al-Dam`). The study aims to introduce the art of Tashteer by addressing its practical aspect. The study also uses the descriptive analytical approach to illustrate the strength points of Mushatir (a poet performing Tashteer) and compare his poet with the original one in terms of serving the concept. The study comprises two parts; Part one is for defining the art of Tashteer in the Arabian poetry. Part two includes the analytical study of the poetry under Tashteer. The study concluded several findings including: al-Deeb clearly comprehended the purposes that Abi Firaas had in his poetry. Thus, he was able to have hold of the main notion of the text both linguistically and semantically. He was even able to penetrate into some of the lines and reveal the thoughts.

The paper is the second part of the research. The main notion introduced in the first part is a structure of partial erasure. The second part is devoted to construction of a protocol for transmitting information via a channel specified by such structure. We formulate the mathematical model of the protocol, give an explicit example of implementation and estimate throughput of this example.

This paper deals with numerical analyses of laminated composite plate and shell structures using a new four-node quadrilateral flat shell element, namely SQ4C, based on the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT) and a combined strain strategy. The main notion of the combined strain strategy is based on the combination of the membrane strain and shear strain related to tying points as well as bending strain with respect to cell-based smoothed finite element method. Many desirable characteristics and the enforcement of the SQ4C element are verified and proved through various numerical examples in static, frequency and buckling analyses of laminated composite plate and shell structures. Numerical results and comparison with other reference solutions suggest that the present element is accuracy, efficiency and removal of shear and membrane locking.

Over the last few years, building defects is major concern in Malaysian construction industry. Design mistake or building flaw define as a defect which reduces building value and make a hazardous situation. A Building defect arises due to various reason, such as low handiwork or the use of adherent components, climatic construction, and faulty design. Building defects never emerge to have been minimized in contempt of new improvement in building technology. Defective building construction contributes both final cost of the product and cost of maintenance, which can be generous. By using effective microorganism (EM) in concrete building defects such as surface cracks, fatigue cracks and thermal contraction can be reduced significantly. Previous works in Japan and Malaysia found that effective in agriculture microorganism makes it possible increasing crop yields to twice or three times what they are at present to do so without the agricultural chemicals or artificial fertilizers, 5% of EM mixed into the concrete the tensile, compressive and flexural strength were 25.23%, 143.90% and 19.17% that are compared to design compressive strength that signify improve the concrete strength and durability. By using 25% EM in concrete the tensile strength was higher than the lower dosage. From the previous study, fermentation is the main notion in EMC in which the process will not produce detrimental texture. The research was carried out to investigate the potential usage of effective microorganism and its application in concrete that can help to reduce the building defects and improve building strength and durability. It was observed that most cost-effective and maximum percentage of EM mixed into the concrete is 5% in which enhancing its compressive, tensile and flexural strength

For the first time in Russian studies of George Eliot, one of the central characters of her only novel about contemporary English life, Daniel Deronda, is under analysis. The character of Grandcourt is looked at as the writer’s distinctive reflection on her reading and comprehension of Arthur Schopenhauer’s book Die Welt als Wille und Vorstellung (1818). The author of the essay gives the facts of the very serious, profound and critical reading of this book by George Eliot. The essay shows in what ways this kind of reading influences the ideological and artistic structures of the novel. It is specially demonstrated how George Eliot’s thorough knowing of Schopenhauer’s book and the thoughts this knowing generates reflects on the image of Grandcourt. It is stressed in the article that the character of Grandcourt is not simply to illustrate some passages of the philosophical system of the German thinker. It is argued that Schopenhauer’s concepts of Man, his role and place in the world cause George Eliot’s deep ontological thinking of human existence and its meaning; the German philosopher’s speculations lead Eliot to the indirect dialogue and dispute with Schopenhauer as it happens in some works by Dostoevsky, Leo Tolstoy and other authors of the end of the 19th – beginning of the 20th centuries. The author of the article demonstrates artistic principles and means with the help of which George Eliot reconsiders the main notion of Schopenhauer’s system – Wille (Will), which transforms into rampage of subjectivity, unrestrained egoism and egotism, despotism, aggression, disdain of Other, moral violence and rapture of it, rejection of common sense and practical logic, the triumph of ‘nature’, seen merely as an instinct, deletion of such notions as self-analysis and self-criticism, human sympathy, compassion, friendship, love to others. Some special emphasis is put on Eliot’s arguing against Schopenhauer’s gender anthropology. It is stressed in the article that, parallel to ontological disagreement and with the help of this polemics, Eliot through the image of Grandcourt both ironically and dramatically sharpens some moral ill-being of contemporary English high society.

Being both a capital importing and a capital exporting nation, China must maintain a balance of this dual role through its international investment agreements (IIAs) system, attracting inward foreign direct investment (IFDI) and, at the same time, protecting outward foreign direct investment (OFDI). Accomplishing this balanced objective not only demands strategic planning to maintain a balance between safeguarding its offensive stakes as a supplier of FDI and protecting its defensive stakes as a receiver of FDI, but also requires leadership to introduce IIA discussions that serve national interests, promote regional integration, and contribute to the growth and development of the international investment system. China’s dual role vis-à-vis FDI, owing to its three-prong investment strategies (bilaterally, regionally, and globally), targets the ‘subsequent opening up to the outside and facilitating local reforms’, and is efficiently transforming into the global economy as a reliable rule-maker. This chapter provides a new breakdown and extensive reappraisal of China’s more radical method to international standard-setting through its advanced IIAs programme, which is required in order to enhance China’s global presence in the future. This introduction provides an explanation of the main notion and definitions in respect of China’s tripartite international investment policy..

This thematic issue presents the outcome of the 2015 ECREA Communication and Democracy Section Conference “Political Agency in the Digital Age” that was held at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. It problematizes changes in the configurations of political agency in the context of digital media. The articles represent a shift from an exclusive focus on political elites to the interrelation between institutionalised politics and political processes in other societal spheres in the field of media and politics research. Political agency as the main notion of the thematic issue draws attention at the (media) practices through which social actors reproduce, reorganise and challenge politics. At the same time, the issue poses questions about the structures—economic, political and social—that allow for, define and also limit these practices. The contributions gathered here suggest an understanding of agency as constituted through the use of knowledge and resources, themselves embedded within structural contexts; at the same time, agency is transformative of the structures within which it is embedded by making use of knowledge and resources in creative and often radical ways. In that context the development of digital media marks a rupture or critical juncture that allows and requires a rethinking of conditions of political agency. Accordingly the contributions critically scrutinize the role of digital media moving beyond celebratory accounts of democratizing potential of digital media. The rethinking of the grammar of political agency is at the heart of this thematic issue.

Cartan–Brauer–Hua Theorem is a well-known theorem which states that if [Formula: see text] is a subdivision ring of a division ring [Formula: see text] which is invariant under all elements of [Formula: see text] or [Formula: see text] for all [Formula: see text], then either [Formula: see text] or [Formula: see text] is contained in the center of [Formula: see text]. The invariance idea of this basic theorem is the main notion of this paper. We prove that if [Formula: see text] is a division ring with involution [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] is a subspace of [Formula: see text] which is invariant under all symmetric elements of [Formula: see text], then either [Formula: see text] is contained in the center of [Formula: see text] or is a Lie ideal of [Formula: see text]. Also, we show that if [Formula: see text] is a self-invariant subfield of a non-commutative division ring [Formula: see text] with a nontrivial automorphism, then [Formula: see text] contains at least one non-central proper subfield of [Formula: see text].

The following paper analyses the profile of alumni from undergraduate dance programmes in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. We problematise a recurring statement in such documents, that is, the promise that the combination of art and education would guarantee a better professional outlook, appropriate to the world of work. This analysis relies on Michel Foucault's ideas of discursive practice and discusses several concepts in order to understand the education and interrelations which can be read in the documents analysed. The main notion of non-dichotomization between art and teaching is explored in the analysis, with special attention to the discursive movements found therein.
