2020 márciusában Magyarországon is központilag elrendelték az online oktatásra való átállást a világszerte egyre inkább terjedő SARS-CoV-2 koronavírus terjedése miatt. Ez a digitális átállás szükségszerű változást indukált a magyar oktatási rendszerben. Sok didaktikai kérdés, probléma, akadály merült fel ennek kapcsán, melyre megoldást kellett találni, hogy működjön. Esettanulmányomban ezeket vizsgálom meg, s kísérletet teszek arra, hogy a gyakorlatból hozott példákkal megválaszoljam, s elméleti háttéranyaggal is alátámasszam. In March 2020, the transition to online education was also ordered centrally in Hungary due to the spreading of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. This digital switchover has induced a necessary change in the Hungarian educational system. Many didactic issues, problems, obstacles arose in connection with this, and a functioning solution had to be found for it. In my case study, I examine these and make an attempt to answer them with examples from practice, and I also support them with theoretical background material.

In the considerations undertaken in the text I focus on the popular model of feedback, which is assigned the power of transforming teaching into effective learning. I assume that feedback – similarly to each didactic activity or means – is a social and cultural construct, and this is why in the analyses I refer to the multiplicity of theoretical educational concepts and the practical dimension and social context of tertiary education. This embeds the approach taken in the interpretative reasoning on didactics and the critical view on the considerations implemented. Results from the analyses problematise many didactic issues related to feedback, particularly the fact that they reflect its complex relationships with the establishment of educational objectives and limitations in it being associated with the creation of students’ cognitive autonomy. I do not determine the direction of changes that might occur in the Polish tertiary education, yet I draw attention to it being strongly rooted in normative didactics, solidified by adopted system solutions.

Abstract Translators and interpreters have been shown to play an important role in supporting the activities of NGOs involved in crisis communication scenarios. However, there is little evidence of whether standardized training materials or technological assistance are required by or would be beneficial to quickly recruited ‘citizen translators’ working in these environments. This article will present a study of the design, delivery, and preliminary evaluation of a set of training materials developed for use in a citizen translation project run by New Zealand Red Cross (NZRC) with the support of the EU H2020-funded International Network on Crisis Translation (INTERACT). The article describes the training materials and discusses the epistemological and didactic issues that were faced in their design and delivery. Findings from the article will be of interest to those seeking to understand citizen translation and issues involved in working with an NGO on translator training.

A review of the conference «Educational Contexts of Constructivism», which was organized by the Department of General Didactics at the Institute of Pedagogy of the Szczecin University (Republic of Poland) on March 16-17, 2017, is presented. The attention is drawn to the interdisciplinary nature of the conference work and its focus on the consideration of the strict didactic issues associated with the multidimensionality of constructivism. The discussion of the participants confirms the urgency of changes in education, which, however, should be taken into account in opposition to the constructivism of thought.

Some didactic issues associated with the computation of degrees-of-freedom (d.o.f.) are herein discussed. In particular the paper reports different definitions and methodologies of computation of this important parameter. It is also proposed an analytical approach to the d.o.f. computation of planar figures subjected to unilateral constraints. Mechanisms with variable kinematic structure are included in the present analysis. Some ambiguities in the d.o.f. definition are pointed out.
