Legislation in food is quite fragmented, it includes several regulations, amendments due to the rapid development both in the studied area and the influence of European law. It is a legal branch of a relatively hybrid nature. It contains agricultural legislation that intersects with environmental law. It also affects administrative, financial, and criminal law as a branch of public law. Nor can commercial and civil law as the basis of private law be circumvented here. The legal norm has undergone a relatively interesting development, which is characterized by several amendments. During the more than 25 years of validity of this legal norm, a total of more than twenty amendments. This certainly does not contribute to the stability of the legislation, the legal certainty of the entities concerned, or its clarity and system. The article provides an overview of the development of the legal regulation of the Food Act in Slovakia from 1995 to 2021.

Textile electrodes are an alternative to conventional silver-chloride electrodes in wearable systems. Their easy integration in garments and comfort provided to the user make them an interesting development of textile engineering. The potential of such electrodes to allow more unobtrusive data collection in health and sports context may enable the development of biosensing garments to be used in biomechanics. However, proper validation of the recorded signals is paramount, and few studies have yet presented consistent methodologies for textile-based electromyographic recordings. This study presents the validation of the electrical and morphological properties of electromyographic signals recorded with textile electrode, in comparison to conventional silver-chloride electrodes. Results indicate that both sets of electrodes have identical signal-to-noise ratios, but with distinct impedance frequency responses. Electromyographic envelope morphologies are also identical, although textile electrodes usually have lower amplitudes.

Fashion is a phenomenon strongly connected with music. Artists are aware of what they wear on stage and in public spaces and how they present themselves via social media channels. In this way, they do not only create a certain image of themselves through this self-staging strategy, but they also show their affiliation to a certain scene. In the 1960s a specific kind of music was developed which was, therefore, also characterised by a particular way of dressing and style to the current music scene which owes its strong impact to the current music scene. The Beatles as the maybe most influential band of the 1960s with a very interesting development regarding their own fashion serve as a model for the style of the Spanish-Chilean, Germany-based band The Recalls. Their specific kind of appropriation actualises, transforms and recontextualises as a translational act the fashion of The Beatles in a postmodern way. This approach underlines the chance of establishing a transcultural dialogue and tries to develop a new perspective on other border-crossing phenomena.

The use of deployable structures in architecture began in the 1960s, based on the pioneering work of Emilio Pérez Piñero. It has had an interesting development using bundle or scissor modules, but with solutions that are always based on through-bolted joints. In this document, a new system for deployable space grids is proposed. This new system is based on the use of self-lockable joints, opening up a new and interesting field of design possibilities. The resulting space grids can be deployed by means of joints arranged on the bars that have a self-locking mechanism which is engaged in the final open position. This configuration overcomes the significant buckling that is characteristic of deployable structures with through-bolted joints. Different solutions are proposed for various uses, and the data from the theoretical and experimental analysis are provided.

The position of Indonesian Language subjects in the 2013 Curriculum is an intermittent interrelation of other subjects in the learning process, in addition to that the Indonesian language material is currently oriented based on text. The purpose of developing teaching materials is to form modules to produce module teaching materials based on local wisdom in writing narrative essays for fifth grade students to find out the level of feasibility of the modules developed in writing local narrative essay writing materials. This type of research is development research or research and development. An interesting development in the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). However, this development only reached implementation, and the completion was not carried out due to time and cost limitations. Implementation was carried out in one of the elementary schools with a subject of 28 students. The technique of collecting data in this study used a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed with descriptive percentages. The results of the module validation by subject matter and learning experts consisted of 89% content eligibility aspects, 87% linguistic aspects, and 82% presentation aspects. Meanwhile, media experts released products with 83% teaching aspect, 81% picture / graphic aspect and 82% visual aspect. The limited trial results received a positive response of 98.25% so that the module is very feasible to use as teaching material. Teaching material based development modules based on local wisdom among students become an innovation in developing narrative writing skills

A large number of linguistic works devoted to identifying interconnections of system elements testifies to the relevance of this field of study. However, it is worth noting that most of them were performed on language material (vocabulary of the national English language, its many sub-languages were studied). Studying the relevant patterns in speech seems to be an equally interesting development plan for this field. This study aims to determine and describe the phonemic characteristics of the English business discourse verbs, which affect the possibility of their word-building compatibility. For this purpose, through correlation analysis (Cole’s measure), correlations between phonemic and derivational features of the verb are revealed. Further, these correlations act as a basis for constructing characteristic dendrograms with the help of cluster analysis. The obtained dendrograms combine the identified phonemic factors by the nature and degree of influence on the derivational activity of the English business discourse verb.

An interesting development in the literary world in India in the last few decades is the emergence of writings in English from the North East. This development is simultaneously accompanied with a growing interest in the region’s writings and its people especially from mainland India. It is also noteworthy that many of the contemporary writers contributing to this nascent literary tradition are women. While the quality of any writing cannot be overshadowed or judged by gender, it is irrefutable that women write from a position where their gender often dictates their experiences. For contemporary women writers of the North East, their narratives, seated in the vehicle of fiction, become a revelation on the gendered experiences of women from the region whose issues, concerns and problems are often shrouded in a cloud of mystery and exoticized by the outside world. The paper seeks to examine the select fiction of women writers from the region and state that there is a discernible feminist consciousness that is emerging; identifying these feminist markers in their fiction allows the silenced voices of women to be heard and their growing boldness to claim a dignified existence in the midst of convoluted geo-politics that have irrevocably scarred the region.

Abstract The purpose of the research is to make a law comparison related to disputes by mediation. This research is using normative method with empirical approach. Through this research the researcher offers an interesting development of dispute resolution through mediation where mediation is no longer used to settle disputes outside the court, but in it’s development mediation is also used to settle disputes in court, known as mediation in court. This phenomenon first developed in developed countries like United States before finally developed in Indonesia. Every people have their own various ways to obtain agreement in the case process or to resolve disputes and conflicts. One way to resolve disputes is through mediation. Mediation clearly involves third parties (both individuals and in the form of an independent institution) that are neutral and impartial, who will take a role as a mediator. The basic principles in mediating dispute resolution both in court and outside the court are still being carried out, such as the principles of confidentiality, neutrality, empowerment of the parties, and mediation results are sought to reach a win-win solution agreement. Keywords: dispute; mediation; mediatorAbstrak Tujuan penelitian yaitu melakukan perbandingan hukum terkait penyelesaian sengketa dengan cara mediasi.

While chatbots are a space that has been researched and worked on for the past few decades, a renewed industry interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and the popularity of devices like Amazon Alexa and Google Home has pushed them back into the spotlight. According to Edison Research and National Public Media, an estimated 21 per cent of US households now use a voice-enabled smart device in some capacity. Similarly, the popularity of texting, technology-mediated communication and social media has laid the groundwork for the return of chatbots. Chatbots are even making inroads into areas like mental health, where they are being used to address the growing mental health concerns of wellness and loneliness. While this is an interesting development, the conversation of what is considered useful in a mental health chatbot is still very much driven by commercial applications. This article considers using natural language processing and networking technologies to explore a more DIY approach to mental-health-based chatbots, by documenting the development of an Alexa that experiences depression.

Purpose In March 2019, Facebook updated its security procedures requesting ID verification for people who wish to advertise or promote political posts of adverts. The announcement received little media coverage even though it is an interesting development in the battle against fake news. This paper aims to review the current literature on different approaches in the battle against the spread of fake news, including the use of computer algorithms, artificial intelligence (AI) and introduction of ID checks. Design/methodology/approach Critical to the evaluation is consideration into ID checks as a means to combat the spread of fake news. To understand the process and how it works, the team undertook a social experiment combined with reflective analysis to better understand the impact of ID check policies when combined with other standards policies of a typical platform. Findings The analysis identifies grave concerns. In a wider context, standardising such policy will leave political activists in countries vulnerable to reprisal from authoritarian regimes. Other victims of the impacts include people who use fake names to protect the identity of adopted children or to protect anonymity from abusive partners. Originality/value The analysis also points to the fact that troll armies could bypass these checks rendering the use of ID checks less effective in the battle to combat fake news.
