AbstractConsider a Shimura variety of Hodge type admitting a smooth integral model S at an odd prime $$p\ge 5$$ p ≥ 5 . Consider its perfectoid cover $$S^{\text {ad}}(p^\infty )$$ S ad ( p ∞ ) and the Hodge–Tate period map introduced by Caraiani and Scholze. We compare the pull-back to $$S^{\text {ad}}(p^\infty )$$ S ad ( p ∞ ) of the Ekedahl–Oort stratification on the mod p special fiber of a toroidal compactification of S and the pull back to $$S^\text {ad}(p^\infty )$$ S ad ( p ∞ ) of the fine Deligne–Lusztig stratification on the mod p special fiber of the flag variety which is the target of the Hodge–Tate period map. An application to the non-emptiness of Ekedhal–Oort strata is provided.

Multibeam echosounders (MBES) have become a valuable tool for underwater floor mapping. However, MBES data are often loaded with different measurement errors. This study presents a new user-friendly and methodological semi-automatic approach of point cloud post-processing error removal. The St. Anthony Channel (Croatia) was selected as the research area because it is regarded as one of the most demanding sea or river passages in the world and it is protected as a significant landscape by the Šibenik-Knin County. The two main objectives of this study, conducted within the Interreg Italy–Croatia PEPSEA project, were to: (a) propose a methodological framework that would enable the easier and user-friendly identification and removal of the errors in MBES data; (b) create a high-resolution integral model (MBES and UAV data) of the St. Anthony Channel for maritime safety and tourism promotion purposes. A hydrographic survey of the channel was carried out using WASSP S3 MBES while UAV photogrammetry was performed using Matrice 210 RTK V2. The proposed semi-automatic post-processing of the MBES acquired point cloud was completed in the Open Source CloudCompare software following five steps in which various point filtering methods were used. The reduction percentage in points after the denoising process was 14.11%. Our results provided: (a) a new user-friendly methodological framework for MBES point filtering; (b) a detailed bathymetric map of the St. Anthony Channel with a spatial resolution of 50 cm; and (c) the first integral (MBES and UAV) high-resolution model of the St. Anthony Channel. The generated models can primarily be used for maritime safety and tourism promotion purposes. In future research, ground-truthing methods (e.g., ROVs) will be used to validate the generated models.

For the accurate and high-precision measurement of the deformation field in mining areas using different data sources, the probability integral model was used to process deformation data obtained from an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), Differential InSAR (DInSAR), and Small Baseline Subset InSAR (SBAS-InSAR) to obtain the complete deformation field. The SBAS-InSAR, DInSAR, and UAV can be used to obtain small-scale, mesoscale, and large-scale deformations, respectively. The three types of data were all superimposed by the Kriging interpolation, and the deformation field was integrated using the probability integral model to obtain the complete high-precision deformation field with complete time series in the study area. The study area was in the WangJiata mine in Western China, where mining was carried out from 12 July 2018 to 25 October 2018, on the 2S201 working face. The first observation was made in June 2018, and steady-state observations were made in April 2019, totaling four UAV observations. During this period, the Canadian Earth Observation Satellite of Radarsat-2 (R2) was used to take 10 SAR images, the surface subsidence mapping was undertaken using DInSAR and SBAS-InSAR techniques, and the complete deformation field of the working face during the 106-day mining period was obtained by using the UAV technique. The results showed that the subsidence basin gradually expanded along the mining direction as the working face advanced. When the mining advance was greater than 1.2–1.4 times the coal seam burial depth, the supercritical conditions were reached, and the maximum subsidence stabilized at the value of 2.780 m. The subsidence rate was basically maintained at 0.25 m/d. Finally, the accuracy of the method was tested by the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data, and the medium error of the strike was 0.103 m. A new method is reached by the fusion of active and passive remote sensing data to construct efficient, complete and high precision time-series subsidence basins with high precision.

The academic sector, like any other service or industrial sector, requires constant innovation in each of its processes. In Colombia, the Universidad EAFIT, as part of the search for new ways of teaching and learning, has recognized the significance of making learning spaces suitable for the people involved in this process. In consequence, the project described in this chapter shows the most efficient methodology for the optimization of asset management for the Universidad EAFIT's Ice Water Plant. The methodologies used include key concepts and factors such as availability, maintainability, and reliability in the costs related to the behavior and nature of the failures, having as reference an integral model of the maintenance management process. The objective of this project is to maintain these high standards of operation and maintenance throughout the useful life of the system and to show the importance that maintenance and the methodologies associated with it have in any sector or industry.

With the continuous development of society, the pressure of human beings is increasing, and the problem of psychological counseling for school students is getting more and more serious, which has brought great challenges to the education and management of school students. Universities should cultivate students’ professional ability on knowledge and practical skills; we should pay more attention to their psychological counseling and develop and design a simple and efficient learning environment. It is very necessary to establish a psychological evaluation system for college students. This article is based on the design and application of the mobile education information system for psychological education. It highlights that the current psychological counseling problems in school education are indispensable. To better manage the psychological counseling problems faced by many students, 67% of the students have many psychological problems, and the mental health of students in school education and psychological counseling have become the common concern and urgent problems of all college managers. This paper uses the methods of literature research, behavior interview, and experimental investigation to investigate the complementary relationship between the connotation of education and psychological counseling from the data of the fuzzy integral model of psychological counseling, so as to pay more attention to the students’ mental health problems and make the students grow up healthily. The experimental results of this article show that there is still a lot of room for improvement in the use of mobile education information systems to improve their ability to carry out psychological counseling work.

For organizations to have the growth that the global economy demands, they must bet on improvement alternatives that fully involve the entire system. One of these alternatives is to bet on the improvement of integral logistics, since it serves as a connection between production and markets. This research proposes the generation of a model for the improvement of the logistics system in a geological and petrographic laboratory, in the southeaster region of Mexico, with the sole purpose of adding value and providing alternative solutions to current or future problems that arise. It is also proposed to design an instrument that measures the current situation in logistics and provides a comprehensive scenario that serves as a starting point for improvement strategies. This instrument is created tailored to the company and introduces intangible aspects called factors so that with the help of the Likert scale they are transformed into qualitative values, and thus carefully visualize the study problem. The entire study is analysed and interpreted by the researcher, and with the help of the company's experts, it is considered to obtain reliable and secure information.
