Basic and theoretical research on processes such as reverse osmosis (RO) is essential in the fermentation industry to improve production efficiency and reduce cost. Here, we focus on the RO concentration of glucose solutions. We constructed a mathematic model that incorporates various membrane and experimental parameters to characterize the mass transfer process of RO membrane and validated the model output with experimental data. Calculation results were highly consistent with the experimental data, demonstrating that this model can be useful for predicting the RO concentration process.

Автоматизация производственных процессов на предприятии помогает максимально эффективно организовать работу производства, существенно снизить нагрузку на отдельных людей. Целью работы является разработка интеллектуального автоматизированного комплекса хранения инструментов. Актуальность разработки обусловлена необходимостью повышения эффективности производства за счет правильной организации и планирования производственных процессов и площадей, приведения данных процессов в соответствие с современными требованиями к информационно-измерительным системам. В данной статье рассматривается концепция создания интеллектуального автоматизированного комплекса хранения инструментов, описываются основные составляющие комплекса, рассматриваются принципы их взаимодействия, приводится алгоритм работы пользователя с ячейками системы хранения при выполнении операции внесения инструмента.Результатом исследования является разработка оригинального комплекса хранения инструмента, который применим на промышленных предприятиях различного профиля. Automation of production processes at an enterprise helps to organize the work of production as efficiently as possible, significantly reduce the workload on individual people. The aim of the work is to develop an intelligent automated complex for storing tools. The relevance of the development is due to the need to improve production efficiency through the correct organization and planning of production processes and areas, bringing these processes in line with modern requirements for information and measurement systems. This article discusses the concept of creating an intelligent automated complex for storing tools, describes the main components of the complex, discusses the principles of their interaction, provides an algorithm for the user's work with the cells of the storage system during the operation of inserting the tool.The result of the research is the development of an original tool storage complex, which is applicable at industrial enterprises of various profiles.

Automatic mining technology is the ideal path and the inevitable way to improve production efficiency, reduce labour intensity and ensure safety for thin coal seam. Recently, while automatic mining technology is increasingly applied in China for thin seams, the corresponding automatic cutting technology has made new advances. Among them, mnemonic cutting technology has been fruitful industrial tested with suitable conditions. Simultaneously, another one called cutting trace pre-set technology of the shearer has been put forward. Using this method, the cutting trace in the area with coal thickness changed and geological structures can be preset. What's more, self-adaptive regulation strategy of cutting trace based on coal-rock recognition by monitoring current of cutting motor was discussed. Then, the main problems and development trends of automatic mining in China was also proposed.

An analysis of the main production processes used in the sugar industry and ways to improve production efficiency is presented. In the sugar industry of the Republic of Belarus, an extensive way of increasing production efficiency is mainly used — improving the existing technological scheme mainly without introducing new technologies. This path carries low risks, but has natural limitations. The paper considers an alternative option for increasing the efficiency of sugar production, which is based on the use of new electromembrane technologies that complement the traditional technological scheme or partially replace its stages. The most promising and little-studied method of processing sugar beet processing products in order to increase production efficiency is electrodialysis. The aim of the study is to study the effect of electromembrane treatment of diffusion juice of various degrees of purification on improving the efficiency of sugar beet processing. The results of model tests of the electrodialysis process in real production conditions with a steadystate sugar production mode on a pilot membrane installation with a cation-anionic set of membranes are presented. The results of calculations confirming the effectiveness of the use of electromembrane processing in the technology of sugar beet processing are presented.

In the field of aviation and astronautics, large complex surface parts such as aircraft cabin cover are complex, varying in model, and produced in small batch. In order to reduce fixture cost and improve production efficiency, a variable multipoint and multi-DOF supporting fixture is designed. The coordinate system of the complex structure fixture is defined, and the kinematics of the multibody structures driven by air cylinders are modeled according to the topological principle. With the help of this data structure, fast and optimal search for clamping state can be realized. With the dichotomy method, the driving amount of the electric cylinder of the suction cups and the two rotation angles of two rotation axes at the end of the linkages are solved accurately. Based on the digital twin simulation method, the precise clamping motion of flexible fixture is calculated for an aircraft cockpit cover with a software developed by the authors in C++ language on the Visual studio platform. The distance between the clamping point and the surface was verified with a laser tracker. Finally, the practical experiment of a real cockpit cover clamping proves the practicability and effectiveness of the proposed method.

Livestock are considered as a main source of GHGs emission by contributing approximately 9% of the total global emission and a major concern for global warming. Domestic animals account approximately 94% of the total global emissions of animals from these large ruminants (dairy and beef cattle) produce 30% and 35% of the livestock sectors’ emissions. Most methane (CH4) that is emitted from livestock originates in the forestomach, also called the rumen, of ruminants. Minimizing amount of methane that comes from rumination can improve production efficiency of livestock and is environmentally a sound practice. The emission rate can be minimized by handling proper feeding and nutritional management strategies, which can reduce excretion of GHG during ruminant digestion process. Dietary manipulation, type of carbohydrates animals fed, forage quality and maturity, management of pasture land, nutrient composition of diet and feed intake, feeding frequency, fat supplementation, and inclusion of feed additives such as saponins, tannins and essential oils are among the best feeding and nutritional management strategies to minimize amount of methane produced during rumination. The aim of this review was to investigate feeding and nutritional management strategies used to reduce methane production from ruminants in general and large ruminants in particular.

A criação de bovinos no Brasil ocorre, prioritariamente, em pastagens e, neste contexto, a adubação do pasto é uma importante estratégia de aumento na eficiência produtiva. Diante disso, objetivou-se, com esta revisão, descrever os impactos técnicos da adubação no desenvolvimento de gramíneas tropicais. A calagem é uma prática importante na disponibilidade dos nutrientes e, novos estudos visam demonstrar que o intervalo entre a incorporação do calcário e a semeadura tem maior dependência da umidade do solo e que é possível reduzir este período que tradicionalmente é de 60 a 90 dias. A adubação fosfatada tem maior impacto sobre a implantação do que a manutenção do pasto, e quando negligenciada na formação do pasto, observa-se um efeito residual sobre a rebrota. O nitrogênio e o potássio são os nutrientes mais extraídos na manutenção dos pastos, o que se torna importante o estudo da relação entre estes nutrientes, bem como a adoção da adubação potássica em sistemas em que a adubação nitrogenada é uma prática rotineira. A varredura, que consiste na mistura de sobras de fertilizantes em galpões, embora tenha baixo custo por quilo de produto, o uso pode ser antieconômico, o que depende da composição do insumo adquirido. Palavras-chave: calagem; fertilização de pastos; formação de pastagens.   Technical and economic impacts of pasture fertilization   ABSTRACT: Cattle production on Brazil priority occurs in grasslands, in this context, pasture fertilization is an important strategy to improve production efficiency. Therefore, the aim with this review is to describe the technical impacts of fertilization on tropical grass development. Liming is an important practice in nutrient availability and new studies aim to demonstrate that the interval between limestone incorporation and seeding has more dependence on soil moisture, and that is possible to reduce this period, which traditionally is from 60 to 90 days. Phosphate fertilization has a greater impact on pasture implantation than maintenance, and when neglected in pasture formation, there is a residual effect on regrowth. Nitrogen and potassium are the nutrients extracted on pasture maintenance, which makes it important to study the relationship between these nutrients, as well as the adoption of potassium fertilization in systems where nitrogen fertilization is a routine practice. Mixing leftover fertilizers in warehouses, although it has a low cost per kilo of product, the use can be uneconomical, which depends on the input composition purchased. The survey results from 8 agricultural cooperatives that have applied high technology, 5 agricultural cooperatives that have not applied high technology to their production, preservation, processing and consumption, and 5 enterprises have regular transactions with cooperatives surveyed based on questionnaires showed that high technology application has helped agricultural cooperatives in Long An province significantly improve production efficiency by being more proactive in production, reducing agricultural input costs and improving productivity and product quality. However, the scale of high techechnology applications of agricultural cooperatives is still small, scattered, high technology is mainly applied in some stages in the production process and in the crop sector due to lower capital requirements for high technology and other resource limitations of agricultural cooperatives as well as constraints on policies. Since then, the study has proposed a number of recommendations to promote agricultural cooperatives to apply high technology in agriculture more effectively.

The study focuses on the nature of restructuring, highlighting its causes and stages, uses a systematic approach as a unified method of scientific knowledge. The author demonstrates the relationship of the internal and external environment of the enterprise with the success of the restructuring process, and also substantiates the need for careful planning of restructuring procedures in order to minimize risks. The definition of restructuring, given by the author, streamlines the previously accepted concepts and believes restructuring as a cyclical systematic process of strategic planning, which leads to comprehensive changes in the enterprise activity and improve production efficiency.

To measure the performance of the production process, an efficiency calculation is performed using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. OEE can measure various production losses and identify potential developments that can be carried out in a production process. This research is expected to be an input to improve production efficiency. The results of overall equipment effectiveness are then performed using Discrete Event Simulation, which built using STELLA Architect. The result shows that their overall equipment effectiveness scores are below the company goals, and performance rate is their lowest score. These simulation results are expected to be a basis for improvements in the production division, especially at Table Tennis Table Manufacturer.
