Petroleum product transportation considered as one of the crucial parts of dangerous material transportation is a risky logistics activity. The selection of the appropriate tanker vehicles may be a suitable solution to reduce the risks and increase the efficiency and performance of the fuel transportation companies. However, the selection of a suitable road tanker vehicle is not an easy task for decision-makers as there are many conflicting criteria and many decision alternatives. In addition, decision-makers may have to decide with insufficient information since collecting crisp values may not be possible at all times. Hence, many ambiguities affecting the evaluation results exist in an assessment process performed to select the best tanker vehicle option. This paper suggests a novel integrated fuzzy approach to solve these decision-making problems. Sensitivity analysis is conducted to test the validation of the proposed integrated fuzzy approach and its results was performed by forming 130 scenarios. The results of sensitivity analysis prove that the proposed model can be applied to solve these kinds of decision-making problems.

The article considers the evolution of scientific approaches to the essence of the concept of "logistics activities". In particular, the concepts provided by different scientists from the standpoint of systemic, functional, economic and process approach are systematized. Control objects are defined depending on each approach. The property of logistics activity as interaction with the external environment is emphasized. It is substantiated that the interaction with the external environment occurs through timely and reliable exchange of information. The main prerequisites for the implementation of logistics activities, such as: globalization, technological progress, knowledge economy. The nature and features of each of the prerequisites for the implementation of logistics activities are revealed. The importance of the concept of prevention of negative impact on the environment is emphasized. Within this concept, "green logistics activities" are gaining popularity, which are aimed at saving energy, materials, efficient land use, reducing air pollution, by reducing the number of lands, air, water transport, noise and hazardous waste regulation. A manifestation of the environmental approach in logistics is reversible logistics, i.e. logistics that involves the return of goods and waste. Taking into account the considered approaches, the definition of logistics activity is given.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effects of the factors and determine the importance of these factors to the LO relationship with the desire to improve the efficiency in logistics activities of the supply chain. An integrated approach including Fuzzy Interpretation Structure Model (FISM), Fuzzy Cross-Impact Matrix Multiplication Applied to Classification (FMICMAC) analysis, Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) is structured in reaching this purpose. Specifically, the impact of factors on the LO relationship will be determined through the FISM-FMICMAC method, then FAHP will use the results from this FISM-FMICMAC analysis step to perform the determination of the level of importance of contributing factors to the LO relationship. The fuzzy number formats of this paper are all in trapezoidal format. To evaluate the proposed framework, a typical example of logistics activity in the Mekong Delta Rice Supply Chain (SuC) was selected. The results have shown the impact level of 14 factors on the LO relationship under 4 clusters (Dependent, Linkage, Independent Autonomous). Finally, only the 10 most outstanding of the 14 factors were used to conduct FAHP analysis to find the global weightages which contribute to the LO relationship by each factor.

A theoretical definition of the concepts of logistics activity and logistics system are provided, taking into account their complexity and multidimensional nature. The concepts are defined taking into account the specifics of industrial enterprises. The development of the engineering sector of the national economy was analyzed. It was determined that the machine-building complex is in crisis, which is associated with the loss of links between production cooperation, and the need to enter the new markets of the European Union, the standards of which do not correspond to the quality indicators of the manufactured machine-building products. Accordingly, among the priorities of engineering enterprises, it is determined to ensure the renewal and modernization of production capacities, which is complicated by the financial and economic policies of the country as a whole. Therefore, ensuring the competitiveness of engineering enterprises depends on building effective organizational and economic mechanisms for operational activities. A key element of the operational activities of machine-building enterprises is logistics activities. Therefore, the issues of establishing the organizational and economic support of the logistics systems of the machine-building complex are of high relevance. The separate functions of logistics activity as the operational process of economic entities are defined in the article. Separate elements of logistics activity are described and structured, and defined as a single operating system. The algorithm for the building of the organizational and economic mechanism for providing the logistics system was determined taking into account the specifics of the machine-building complex.
