This study attempts to describe the efforts of anty bullying become mainstream in school. Bullying means any forced process happened by some students to other students or from the teahcer into students, bullying in question is any forcing process that often happens done by fellow peers (bullying) or from teachers to students in the form of violence symbol, physical, and verbal. This study uses a literature study method that attempts to formulate the role of Guidance and Counseling institutions in guarding and fostering nonviolent movements in schools, and learning models that can prevent the occurrence of violence in schools. So, the practice of violence in school can be minimized and even eliminated. In this study, it was concluded that the implementation of group counseling in anti-bullying campaigns could be possible as an alternative way to reduce bullying behavior in schools.

Tionghoa literature is a literary work in the Indonesian language produced by Chinese people who were born in Indonesia. In the literary treasures of Indonesia, its literary works are still marginalized. Studies of Chinese literary works are also small. Therefore, the authors challenged to examine some literary works produced by peranakan citizens. As for the literary work of peranakan which is the source of this study data are three novels. The novel is (1) Lo Fen Koei (hereinafter abbreviated LFK) by Gauw Pe Liang, (2) Nyai Soemirah Story (hereinafter abbreviated as CNS) by Thio Tjin Boen, and (3) Flower Roos from Djikembang (hereinafter abbreviated BRDD) by Kwee Tech Hoay. The focal point of this research lies in the views or judgments of the novel authors on indigenous women. To help explore the novel, the author uses two research approaches namely, structural and sociological literature.

This research aims to (1) analyze linguistic characteristics of main characters of Go Diego Go and Dora the Explorer; (2) describe social and cultural factors influencing the use of their linguistic characteristics; and (3) describe gender representation reflecting in the movies. The research problems are investigated by employing Pan’s theory of language and gender (2011). This is a descriptive qualitative research. The data source of this research is Go Diego Go and Dora the Explorer movies with 2 randomly selected episodes. The data were collected through observation and note taking technique. The collected data were then analyzed by employing textual analysis method. The research reveals that (1) Dora uses more standard form of phonology, uses more emotional and hyperbole vocabulary, and topics related to daily activity, while Diego does not show these characteristics; (2) the two characters do not use rude or taboo words, question tag, and hyper-correction; (3) different-social status and roles are the factors of different-linguistic characteristics; and (4) gender stereotype reveals that Diego to tell science and technology, while Dora to tell domestic stories and neighborhood.

The issue is a matter of trust myths contained in the community, which can be thought although not an outcome logic, but not forever the myth of no benefit in people's lives. Myth in view of the philosophical meaning that is both ethics and eistetics. With the understanding of the philosophical community is expected not easily blame others, by giving criticism that it does not need to believe in the myth because it would be detrimental to humans. The approach taken in this research is descriptive qualitative field research. The results of this study indicate that the myths surrounding pregnancy are believed by the public basically has values that can be used in public life who believe in it. Ethics, there is value obedience,  kindness to health, caution, alert,  polite and hard-working teachings. While the aesthetic dimension is a subjective aesthetic, in which  balancing theory with characteristic feature has a value of unity, the value of complexity, and the value of seriousness, which is visible in color, words and shapes

Manuscript entitled Dewi Murtasiyah (abbreviated DM) is one of collection from Sonobudoyo Museum. The text was written in Javanese and Arabic which told about Murtasiyah as a woman on patriarch domination in the 18th century. Inside the text, visual of women in that era were presented. Through the method of library research and philology and codicology’s study, women blaming in the text would be presented. The aim of this research is to describe gender construction in the text, such as (1) women and her domestication, (2) women identic behaviour, and (3) anatomy of woman fashion.

This research would like to discuss about the behavior of teachers in the class against their behavior outside the classroom. Data collection techniques were obtained, unstructured interviews, documentary and triangulation studies using sexual theories. After doing research by using univariate and bivariate analysis, it can be concluded that the behavior of teachers in the class has a significant effect on their behavior outside the classroom. This is confirmed by data from the age of gender bias dimensions studied, eight dimensions (80%) occur in gender bias and two dimensions (20%) do not occur gender bias. There was a strong enough change between the two (100%). This means that the higher the gender bias in learning, the higher the gender bias and gender inequities in schools. This study discusses the relationship between gender bias of learning with bias and gender inequality in schools.

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi proses perdamaian Israel-Palestina dari perspektif feminis multikultural dengan menfokuskan pembahasan pada partisipasi perempuan Israel. Pandangan feminisme secara umum berasumsi bahwa perempuan dinilai lebih damai dibanding dengan laki-laki, serta kesetaraan gender secara alami mendukung kebijakan yang mengarah kepada perdamaian. Meskipun demikian Israel yang memiliki tingkat kesetaraan gender tertinggi di kawasan Timur Tengah (dengan level 72% berdasarkan Global gender gap index 2016) masih menghadapi konfrontasi militer dengan Palestina hingga saat ini. Kontradiksi antara asumsi feminis dan fakta-fakta yang terjadi di Israel dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis dari Miles dan Huberman dan menggunakan teori perdamaian feminisme Brock Utne. Tesis ini menemukan bahwa terdapat tiga hambatan dalam partisipasi perempuan Israel sebagai peace maker (pencipta perdamaian), yang pertama diskriminasi perempuan dalam politik dan dalam gerakan perdamaian yang disebabkan oleh dominasi patriarki dalam masyarakat Israel yang militer sentrik, yang kedua diskriminasi terhadap perempuan Mizrahi yang disebabkan oleh dominasi perempuan Ashkenazi dan yang terakhir hambatan dari nilai tradisional Yahudi yang menghambat aktivitas perempuan dalam ruang publik.

This research explains about the mixed code that occurs in complex society especially for daily conversation of young women. The purpose of this study is to get a description of the mixed code in the magazine Kawanku, which is to get an idea of how and what factors mix the Indonesian slang code that appears in my magazine. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The findings of the research are the use of foreign languages by Indonesians and they prefer to use non-standard language instead of standard language. The author gets several factors that influence the interference of the code. It is important for Indonesian teenagers to use standard Indonesian when they communicate with each other to preserve their language. This study also aims to make the language study institutions make Indonesian terms in its policy.

This article talks about polygamy in the perspective of “al-Amsal fi Tafsir Kitab Allah al-Munazzal”, the Quran’s commentary wich written by Nāṣir Makārim al-Syīrāzī. This article is kind of library’s research. By employing gender theory and discriptical analysis method, this article aims to explore the various concept of polygamy in Islam. As the result of this research, “al-Amṡal Fī Tafsīr Kitāb Allah Al-Munazzal” explained that polygamy was been known and practically committed by many nations in many places for a long time ago. This commentary book also explains the revelation’s occasion of polygamy with the general description. Nāṣir Makārim al-Syīrāzī in this commentary book believes that Islam allows a man to commit the polygamy in requisite he had to treat all his wives fairly as possible. According to this commentary book, Polygamy in Islam is not just about the relation men and their wives, but also firmly related with the social aspect, that means, in some conditions, polygamy will be needed to be committed by the society. Despite in such points of its view of polygamy, this commentary book shows the gender justness, but in other points, this commentary book is seemingly showing the biased gender instead.

Child marriage can be seen as an oppression that not all women in the world will experience it. It happens only in poor and traditional countries like in Yemen. Child marriage in Yemen is clearly described in me Nujood, Age 10, and the Divorce novel. Behind the phenomenon of child marriage, there are several relations of relationships that run it from generation to generation. This study aims to find the power relationships behind the marriage of my child that is Nujood, Age 10, and Divorce. This study uses qualitative methods and readings as data collection. The results of this study indicate that there are three power relationships behind the marriage of children: child marriage as a form of preservation of tradition from generation to generation, marriage of children as a solution to the difficulties of the family financial condition, and marriage of children as a form of preservation of illiterate women.
