One of the obstacles facing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia is the bullwhip effect. The bullwhip effect is an event that occurs in the supply chain due to an increase in order fluctuations or order cancellations due to information distortions. This study aims to determine the value of the bullwhip effect and explain the main causes of its occurrence in order to explain about the approach to reducing the bullwhip effect in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia that operational management can be maximized through operational management. This study uses quantitative methods to determine the value of the bullwhip effect. And qualitative methods are used to identify the root cause and reduction of the bullwhip effect. With primary data from interviews. In addition, secondary data comes from demand data and order data on products for distributors and retailers managed by the company. The results showed that the value of the bullwhip effect on the product at one of the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia was almost completely above 1.00 and above the specified parameters. This provides information that there is a product bullwhip effect in one of the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the main cause of the bullwhip effect in one of the smallest, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia is a demand forecast error.

The objective of this research is to analyze the level of financial feasibility of dodol "UD Mandiri" in Pangu Satu Village, Ratahan Timur Sub-District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from November 2018 to April 2019. Research Methods Case Study. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from direct interviews with business owners UD Mandiri. Whereas secondary data is obtained from companies, books available at local bookstores and on the internet such as Google Scholar to access articles from various scientific journals and theses from other universities relating to the topic of this research are mainly concerned with financial analysis.Analysis of existing data using qualitative methods and quantitative methods. Qualitative methods are carried out to find out the dodol business characteristics that are presented in non-financial aspects in descriptive form, tables, charts or images, graphics such as process/production aspects, marketing aspects, legal aspects, environmental aspects,environmental aspects. Quantitative methods uses quantitative numbers regarding financial feasibility such as Net Present Value (NPV), Net B / C Ratio, Internal Rate Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP). There search result showed by using its own capital, UD Mandiri salak dodol business is declared feasible with an NPV value of Rp103.045.440, IRR (Internal Rate Return) or investment return of 60%, more than the UKM interest rate ( 6%) and Net B / C Ratio of 1,012, greater than one and payback period for two years.*jnkd+erprm*

The main objective of the study was to examine customer retention strategies at Cellmed Health, from the period 2012 to 2018. The focused was mainly on impact of customer retention strategies on market share, profit and sales turnover. A descriptive survey design was used with both qualitative and quantitative methods. Sixty participants from Cellmed Health were involved in the research. The study used both primary and secondary data where the primary data was collected using questionnaires and interviews while the secondary data was obtained from annual reports and magazines of the company. Descriptive statistics of mean, frequency and percentages were used to analyse demographic characteristics of the respondents. Regression analysis was used to measure and predict the relationship between the customer retention strategies and market share, profitability and sales turnover. Findings were that Cellmed used monitoring customer relationships strategies, market intelligence, loyalty programs and promotions to maintain its competitiveness. Furthermore, it also concludes that there was a significant relationship between customer retention strategies and profit as well as sales turnover that the company (Cellmed) was posting annually. In this light, the study recommendation was that customer retention strategies should be embrace in the decision making processes of the organisation covering products, price, services, responsiveness, tangibility and reliability of the brand name. The study also recommends that Cellmed Health should strengthen its customer bonds and moreover, in order to increase customer retention rates, Cellmed Health should provide extraordinary customer services.

ABSTRACT        This study aims to determine discipline, organizational commitment and motivation to work productivity of employees at PT. Putra Gerem Jaya-Merak. This research method uses descriptive and associative quantitative methods. The data sources are primary data and secondary data. The research was conducted from December 2018 to June 2019. The study population was 63 employees of KPDC, the sample was 61 people using saturated sampling. Data were collected using research instrumens and processed using SPSS statistics version 24.00 windows. Discipline process, organizational commitment and motivation have very important roles to realizae optimal company goals requiring quality human resources, but in reality based on preliminary observations at PT. Putra Gerem Jaya-Merak work productivity is currently in a low condition because the average score has only reached 30.3, the standard score of 35, due to the accuracy of employee work with a score of 19. So it can be said that employee productivity is still not good and successful in its implementation. Based on the results of the analysis, the results obtained: discipline has no positive and insignificant effect, Meanwhile, organizational commitment and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity either partially or jointly at PT. Small Islands face some of the main problems of any coastal area due to climate change and natural disasters. This study aims to analyze the resilience of coastal communities on a small island in terms of disasters and climate change, and to identify the strategies and adaptations that communities have undertaken as anticipatory for disaster and climate change in the future. Qualitative analysis combined with quantitative methods is used in this research to provide a clear estimate of the categories of resilience in each village. The primary data was collected by using interviews and focus discussion group and secondary data acquired through the documentation on related stakeholders. The resilience index provided by the Ministry of Maritime and Fisheries Affairs is used to categorize the resilience scales of villages. The results of this study show that the human aspects and natural resources aspects have high scores in resilience, but disaster and climate change aspects; environmental/infrastructures aspects; and economic aspects should be improved. Furthermore, the community had been taking participation in disaster mitigation.

The purpose of the case is to introduce the students to an emerging business trend of outsourcing the logistics function. The case enables the students to analyse the benefits of outsourcing logistics function and understand the concept of third-party logistics (3PL) and fourth-party logistics (4PL). The case is developed based on the primary data collected through interviews with the protagonist. Also, secondary data from published reports and archives of the company were used for the development of the case. After the case discussion the students will be able to understand the role of project logistics services in the supply chain. They will also understand the role of value-added logistics services such as cross-docking, reverse logistics and customs clearance, and the documentation involved in cross-border logistics. This case is among the first few cases on the concept of project logistics services and their role in the supply chain management.

This research is aimed to analyse legal consequences of port enterprise regarding claim over negligence in loading and uploading services to expeditor to investigate how the responsibility is performed by PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia IV regarding the claim over negligence in loading and uploading services to the expeditor and what measures are taken by the port enterprise to settle the dispute. This is an empirical legal research that employed socio-juridical approach. Primary data was obtained by conducting interviews and observation, while the secondary data from library research that relevantly supports the issue observed. All those types of data will be analysed with descriptive and qualitative methods. The research result reveals that the implementation of the responsibility of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia IV is restricted by law. As implied in Article 468 Paragraph (2), if the port enterprise could provide proof of being not guilty, in which the goods are damaged when shipped or forwarding, this damage is not the responsibility of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia IV. The claim can be responded through non-litigation process in which negotiation may take place between two involved parties.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kerentanan sosial ekonomi, dan bangunan fisik masyarakat perkotaan terhadap bencana banjir di Kelurahan Margagiri, Kecamatan Bojonegara Kabupaten Serang Provinsi Banten. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode campuran kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer dikumpulkan dengan observasi langsung di lapangan dan wawancara berstruktur dengan responden yang dipilih secara random dengan teknik simple random sampling. Wawancara dilakukan terhadap 90 kepala rumah tangga dari total populasi 483 kepala rumah tangga. Sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari berbagai dokumen dan instansi terkait yang dianggap berkompeten. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil interpolasi kedalaman banjir yang terkena dampak banjir berada di sebagian besar wilayah bagian timur penelitian dengan kedalaman maksimum 1,5 meter. Berbagai faktor yang dapat menyebabkan banjir, seperti kondisi topografi yang lebih rendah, penyempitan sungai, tersumbatnya drainase dan tersumbatnya saluran sungai yang menyebabkan terhambatnya aliran sungai yang mengalir ke outlet utama. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kerentanan sosial ekonomi yang lebih tinggi ditemukan pada tingkat pendidikan dominan yang rendah yaitu tingkat sekolah dasar (SD) (40,42%) dan elemen penduduk rentan karena usia lanjut dan anak-anak sebanyak 30,09 %. Sementara itu, temuan penelitian lainnya berkaitan dengah kerentanan fisik, menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kerentanan tinggi aspek fisik sebanyak 32 bangunan, kerentanan tingkat sedang aspek fisik ebanyak 43 bangunan, dan kerentanan tingkat rendah sebanyak 25 bangunan. Serta tingkat kerentanan sedang hingga tinggi didominasi oleh jenis bangunan non tembok. Kata Kunci: Masyarakat Perkotaan, Kerentanan Sosial Ekonomi, Kerentanan Fisik, Bahaya Banjir ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the socio-economic and physical building vulnerability of urban communities against flooding in Margagiri Village, Bojonegara District, Serang Regency, Banten Province. The method used in this study was a mixture of qualitative and quantitative methods. The data used were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were collected by direct observation in the field and structured interviews with respondents randomly selected by simple random sampling technique. Interviews were conducted with 90 heads of households from a total population of 483 heads of households. Meanwhile, secondary data were obtained from various documents of related institutions that is considered to be competent. The results of study showed that based on the results of interpolation the depth of floods affected by flooding was in most of the eastern part of the study with a maximum depth of 1.5 meters. Various factors can cause flooding, such as lower topographic conditions, river narrowing, drainage clogging and blockage of river channels which causes obstruction of river flow flowing to the main outlet. The results of this study also showed that higher socioeconomic vulnerability was found at the low predominant level of education, namely elementary school level (40.42%) and elements of the vulnerable population due to old age and children as much as 30.09%. Meanwhile, other research findings related to physical vulnerability, showed that the high level of physical aspect vulnerability was 32 buildings, the moderate level of physical vulnerability was 43 buildings, and the low level vulnerability was 25 buildings. Longgar Outfit is a local fashion brand from Bandung that focuses on plus size women. Longgar Outfit has the vision to become the leading plus size fashion brand in Bandung. Unfortunately, since the appearance of Longgar Outfit on the market in early January 2019, Longgar Outfit has faced problems in penetrating the market. The problem currently being faced by Longgar Outfit is unstable sales. The purpose of the research is to find out a suitable business strategy in order to stable Longgar Outfit sales. This research is conducted to summarize the business strategy for Longgar Outfit using internal and external business environment analysis, customer analysis, and SWOT analysis to determine the root cause. Use a qualitative approach as a research method for understanding a social phenomenon. This approach will find the current business situation, planning business strategies, and proposed new business strategies. Data collection techniques using observation and in-depth interviews as primary data, while secondary data with literature studies using books and journals related to principles of marketing, strategic marketing, and other topics. This research has limitations to the object being observed as many as two competitors who have a similar business model and interviewed 15 potential customers to explore their needs and desires regarding plus size clothing. The results of this research get findings on alternative business solutions for Longgar Outfit. The proposed business strategy for Longgar Outfit consists of a new STP strategy, create value proposition canvas, create a point of difference and point of parity, develop new marketing (4Ps) strategy, and organizational structure plan.

This study aims to describe the efforts of female candidates to break the practice of money politics and the influence of shamans in the 2018 Sriharjo subdistrict election (pilkades). The author used qualitative methods with a case study of the Sriharjo village-head election in Bantul Regency. The author collected primary data through interviews, in-depth group discussions, and observations. Secondary data were collected through a literature review, online articles, photos, and video studies of the pilkades process. The findings of this study show the practice of money politics carried out by “snipers,” whose job is to distribute envelopes containing money from house to house from night to dawn one day prior to election day. In addition, candidates also provide assistance and facilities to the community to get their votes. The success team also uses the services of shamans by spreading flowers in certain areas with the aim of spiritually binding people so as not to vote for other candidates. Responding to the competitor’s strategy, the female candidate employed the politics of conscience to empower the community, monitored the snipers of other candidates, built networks, and broke the spiritual powers.

It is unthinkable that errors in the pronunciation of Arabic voices can hinder understanding and lead to ambiguity and ambiguity in meaning. This study aims to determine the sound errors that researchers witnessed in Luqman al-Hakim Surabya school students. This study uses descriptive and qualitative methods for field research. The source of the data consists of primary data (samples of class II A students) and secondary data found from references related to research. While the method for collecting research data is using observation and interviews. After conducting research at the Luqman Al-Hakim School in Surabaya, the researcher found a sound error, namely the mention of letters that are similar to Tatwiriyah errors and errors in the mention of sounds in Arabic that are not found in Indonesian, namely the Prayer of Blessing. the cause of errors in the mention of the sound of Arabic in class II A students at Luqman Al-Hakim Surabaya School is ignorance and lack of application of rules in terms of sound also because of the influence of mother tongue, namely Indonesian.It is unthinkable that errors in the pronunciation of Arabic voices can hinder understanding and lead to ambiguity and ambiguity in meaning.
