Belo Laut Village has 3,337 ha of mangrove potential spread over three hamlet areas, namely Belo Laut, Tanjung Punai, and Sukal. On the muddy beaches around the mangroves, the community has developed extensive cultivation of blood clams (Anadara granusa). The existence of cultivation in mangrove areas also has the potential to affect the existence of mangroves in the area. For this reason, it is necessary to know the perception of shellfish cultivators on mangroves and the reality of the condition of mangroves in Belo Laut Village so as to provide an overview of the potential for mangrove destruction due to Blood Clam cultivation. Data were collected by interviewing shellfish farmers in Sukal and Tanjung Punai Hamlets. The production of blood clam cultivation has become a new source of economy in Belo Laut Village which is carried out by almost all family heads in Sukal and Tanjung Punai Hamlets. The community considers that the mangroves in Belo Laut village had not changed in quantity and there was no indication of their use other than for tourism. The perception and understanding of shellfish farmers not to disturb the mangroves were based on the protection of their main source of income as shrimp and crab fishermen.

Macrozoobenthos is one of the organisms that can be used as biological indicators because it tends to live in an area and has sensitivity to environmental changes. The Hurun River had many community activities. Based on this, it was necessary to analyze the diversity of macrozoobenthos which will be compared with the physical and chemical parameters of water in order to find out the indicators that affect the abundance of macrozoobenthos in the river. The purpose of this research was to determine the macrozoobenthic community structure which found in the Hurun River based on diversity, uniformity and dominance indices, to build multiple linear regression models, and to determine the bioindicators of pollution in the Hurun River. The factors that influence the abundance of macrozoobenthos are temperature, depth, brightness, DO, TOM, and salinity. The types of macrozoobenthos obtained were 87 species with the highest abundance of macrozoobenthic animals of 70,666.56 ind/m3 while the lowest abundance of macrozoobenthic animals was 13,000.96 ind/m3. Based on data analysis, the macrozoobenthic diversity index was included in the medium category, the level of macrozoobenthic uniformity was included in the high, medium, and low categories, and the dominance level which was included in the medium and low categories. Multiple regression models with a confidence level of 5% get R2 results of 0.86. The level of pollution that occured in the Hurun River based on bioindicators with the ABC curve shows moderately polluted.

East Lampung Regency has a coastal area of East Lampung with 316 ha. One of the coastal tourist areas owned by East Lampung Regency is Shells Mas Beach. This beach has a fairly long coastline where there are a lot of bivalves, but the inventory of the types of bivalves on the beach. The purpose of the research is to analyze both the species diversities of bivalves and physical also chemical conditions of the waters. The research methodology used purposive sampling method analysis of species abundance data, diversity index, and index dominance. From the result of the bivalve diversities on the coast, bivalve the most common found are is Matra grandis,it is found out that there is no dominating bivalve amongst them due to below normal dominating rate that is 0,08-0,16 to be considered low level (00,00<C≤0,30); middle with diversity index 2,18–2,70 (2<H’≤3); high with index diversity 0,85–0,94 (E>0,6). The highest abundance value at station 1 is 4787.01 ind/m3 and the lowest species abundance value at station 3 is138.75 ind/m3. From the results of the chemical physics measurements, it shows that it still is in the range of sea water quality standards. The Bivalve diversity relationship shows a positive correlation to the parameters of salinity, grain size, and sediment TSS. Meanwhile, it shows negative correlation for parameters DO, pH and temperature.

Giant freshwater prawns, one of the freshwater aquaculture commodities which has high economic value and has wide market opportunity. Dissolved oxygen on giant freshwater prawn aquaculture is the one of necessary part on a prawn weight gain. Availability of dissolved oxygen can be increased by optimalization on mini wheel and blower use. Mini Wheel is a part of aquaculture technology application, especially on household scale aquaculture of giant freshwater prawn (M. rosenbergii). This assembly used recycle material which can still be used. This mini wheel was modified by 3 treatments, that A (blower without mini wheel pond treatment); B (one-propeller mini wheel pond treatment); C (two-propeller mini wheel pond treatment). This research used quantitative method and every treatment should has three repetitions. Aquaculture a household scale by applying mini wheel designed to find out its effect on water quality and growth of giant freshwater prawn (M. rosenbergii), with parameter ABW (Average Body Weight), ADG (Average Daily Growth), FCR (Feed Convertion Ratio) and SR (Survival Rate). This research showed that there is a significant difference between two-propeller mini wheel pond treatment, one-propeller mini wheel pond treatment and blower without mini wheel pond treatment. The optimum Dissolved Oxygen value on two-propeller mini wheel pond treatment was about 9 mg/L (morning and afternoon testing), Pond temperature on range 280C, and also pH has stability on 7. The best growth was found in two-propeller mini wheel pond treatment with Survival Rate (SR) 93%, Average Body Weight (ABW) 10 g/prawn, Average Daily Growth (ADG) 0.11 g/prawn, and Feed Convertion Ratio (FCR) 1.5.

This study aims to determine the best dose of the amino acid lysine in formulated feed for the growth of white snapper (Lates calcarifer) in the enlargement phase. The research design used three treatments and three replications with a completely randomized design method (CRD), namely control feed formulations with the addition of 0% lysine, P1 formulated feed with the addition of 0.2% lysine, and P2 feed formulations with 0.4% lysine. The test fish used was white snapper with an average weight of 90 grams. Fish reared in fiber tub volume of 2 m3 with the stocking 6 animals/m3. The results showed that feeding P2 formulation had a significant effect on growth in absolute weight, absolute length, daily growth rate, FCR, protein retention but had no significant effect on the survival rate and amino acid lysine retention. P2 feed (formulated feed with 0.4% lysine) can be used to support the growth of white snapper.
