AbstractThe chapter discusses digital transformation as a potential source of crisis for the organization and develops a theoretical framework for further empirical research. The basic concept is that organizational learning is neither exclusively individually nor structurally and that actors and organizations are in a reciprocal relationship. Different requirements during digital transformation, either from the members of the organization or from the environment, force the organization to handle it. The chapter proposes four different ways, how organizations cope with digital transformation. Within the first two types, previous action routines terminate and organizational learning takes place. (1) The action routines of the members of the organization change, as well as there is a new understanding from the organization (educational process). (2) Digital transformation brings with it the implementation of the new digital objects, although the organizational members don’t act in a generally new way (learning process). Within the last two types, the organization refuses the requirements of the digital transformation. (3) The organization implements digital objects, but the organizational members don’t use them. And finally (4), the organization can actively refuse digital transformation.

The rapid development of technologies, the transition of educational and pedagogical activities to the online format and the integration of digital solutions into educational reality have led to the need for a systematic rethinking and analysis of the model of the language learning process. Along with the unique opportunities that opened up, participants of the educational process faced difficulties that arose, inter alia, due to the specificity of the interaction of different generations in one educational space. The new modality of socio-pedagogical relations also affected the language education: NBICS technologies, media convergence and digital reality are phenomena that cannot be ignored when designing the educational process.

Based on the analysis of the existing practice of organizing the educational process in the higher education system, the article examines the features of its transformation and restructuring in the context of digitalization as a global trend in the development of all spheres of human activity. At the same time, it is noted that digitalization allows a new approach to achieving the planned educational results, to implementing the content of education, methods and organizational forms of educational work, as well as evaluating the results achieved. The article emphasizes that digitalization, on the one hand, provides increased openness, flexibility of education, and greater involvement of students in the educational process. It is also noted that the education digitalization allows you to design new educational situations, involve new actors in the learning process, while transforming the configuration of relations between its main participants. Digitalization makes significant changes in the role of the teacher and the student in the learning process, which requires appropriate adaptation. Special attention is paid to clarifying the main definitions related to the process of education digitalization and the implementation of e-learning. The main requirements for designing e-learning components such as video lectures, webinars, and e-courses are considered. The roles of the teacher that allow implementing e-learning in the higher education system are identified separately. In conclusion, it is noted that the digital transformation of higher education provides a new round of its development in modern conditions and is expressed in the formation of a new – mixed – learning model that allows building a higher education system at a qualitatively different level, in which educational results are formed in digital conditions with a rational combination of classical and innovative didactic solutions.

This article was created to fulfill the tasks of education administration as well as to increase understanding of special service administration. This article was made based on reliable sources, namely books and articles. Special service administration is the management, planning of services that indirectly support the educational process in schools. Where without these services can be a learning process in schools can not take place smoothly. Special services available at schools include dormitories, cafeterias, UKS, cooperatives, and so on.

Education is a process of learning and learning both in terms of knowledge and skills. From a number of sources that researchers studied, researchers can deduce from education and education administration with a broad scope. Education and education administration have the same goals and functions, namely achieving an educational goal that can benefit society and the nation. This education also serves to create intelligent students, noble character, good personality and skills that can be useful to help other communities. Educational administration and education are very related, because they are very dependent. Educational administration is all processes and joint activities that must be carried out by someone related to educational tasks. If an education without education administration is accompanied by it will not be achieved an educational goal that is good for the welfare of society. From every educational process there is a need for educational administration. The purpose of both is very clear. With this education, can improve human resources for the progress of a nation. As we know now there are still many obstacles that occur in some areas for the implementation of a learning process and learning, this is influenced by several factors. With these obstacles, a teacher must be able to provide education and education administration to all students. The science of education administration is very useful for the community and students. Administration is not only about finance but also about skills and bookkeeping and has goals in accordance with educational goals.

The paper draws on ethnographic study and goes beyond dualistic understanding of work and play to investigate the complex world of social interactions among preschoolers. While adults viewed work as an educational process through which children’s personalities are shaped in a desired way, the children perceived work as a means of social interactions. Building on the theoretical framework of sociality and intersubjectivity, the paper suggests that work, play and learning can represent complementary aspects of human existence and living.

Evolving digital technologies are infiltrating schools wave after wave. The changes taking place are viewed as the schools’ digital renewal process (SDRP). The SDRP is complex (multidimensional). It includes changes in the educational environment (physical and virtual), the educational process, and the way the school operates. The SDRP goes uneven, with individual schools at different stages. One-time observation of the SDRP allows you to fix its current state (statics). The longitudinal observations allows you to see changes in the schools’ digital renewal (kinematics). The connection of the observed changes with the impact on the general education system makes it possible to discuss the development of digital renewal under the influence of individual control actions (dynamics). The stages of penetration of digital technologies into the work of the school: computerization, early and mature informatization, digital transformation (transition to the “Smart School”) can be considered as the stages of maturity of the SDRP. The article discusses a framework for describing the processes of digital renewal of schools in an evolving digital environment and an assessment of the SDRP’s maturity.

This article introduces the National Library of Australia’s Digital Preservation Knowledge Base which helps the Library to manage digital objects from its collections over the long term. The Knowledge Base includes information on file formats, rendering software, operating systems, hardware and, most importantly, the relationships between them. Most of the work on the Knowledge Base over the last few years has been focused on the mapping of functional relationships between file formats, their versions and software applications. The information is gathered through unique empirical research and is initially being recorded in a multiple-worksheet Excel file in a semi-structured format, though development of a prototype graph database is underway.

The segmented assimilation theory offers a theoretical framework for understanding the process by which the new second generation – the children of contemporary immigrants – becomes incorporated into the system of stratification in the host society and the different outcomes of this process. This article examines the issues and controversies surrounding the development of the segmented assimilation theory and reviews the state of recent empirical research relevant to this theoretical approach. It also highlights main conclusions from recent research that bear on this theory and their implications for future studies.
