The aim of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between hemodialysis frequency stress levels in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis at hemodialysis installation of dr. M. Yunus hospital Bengkulu City 2016. The study design used was a descriptive analytic method to explain each variable studied. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the frequency of hemodialysis with the level of stress in patients with chronic renal failure, almost all respondents often undergo hemodialysis in hemodialysis installation in dr. M.Yunus hospital in Bengkulu city, of a total of 67 respondents almost half of respondents suffered moderate stress levels and no significant association between HD frequency with the stress levels of patients with CKD in Haemodialysis installation with p value 0.041 smaller than 0.05. The results of this study are expected to add insight and knowledge about the disease of CKD, and and is expected to continue this research in the context of a deeper and broader variables. Keywords: Frequency, Hemodialysis, Stress Levels.

This paper presents an experimental study on the flexural fatigue characteristics of Ultra-High Toughness Cementitious Composites (UHTCC), in contrast with plain concrete and Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC) which have similar compressive strength. The results show that UHTCC improves fatigue life and exhibits a bi-linear fatigue stress-life relationship. The deflection ability, failure characteristics of UHTCC were investigated in the tests. It was observed that, similar to static loading situation, multiple cracks were formed under fatigue loading, while the number of cracks decreased with the degradation of stress levels. For this reason, the deformability is much weaker at lower fatigue stress levels than that at higher stress levels. Moreover, the failure section is divided into three different districts, and the proportion of fiber rupture to fiber pullout is different under different stress levels.

Background - Perceived stress experiences differ amongst individuals due to psychological, physical and socio-economic factors and with the outbreak of COVID-19, the impact on mental health has been unavoidable. Another dimension of understanding stress is also put forth by Ayurveda, an ancient medicine system of India. Aim – Aims to find the association of bio-social parameters including prakriti body types with perceived stress levels amidst COVID -19 pandemic. Material and Methods – Data were collected from 390 individuals aged ranging from 18 – 45 years through an online survey. Prakriti were determined by prakriti assessment questionnaire. Stress level was assessed by using Perceived Stress Scale (PSS 10) and relevant statistical analysis were carried out. Results - Significant association (p < 0.05) is found in body mass index (BMI), prakriti body types, sex, and effects of COVID–19 on mental and physical well – being with perceived stress levels. Vata prakriti (19.71%), underweight individuals (12.65%), and females (11.44%) are significantly more prone to develop high stress. Salaried individuals are significantly less likely to be affected by moderate stress. VIF is less than 5 and Tolerance is greater than 0.2. And, Nagelkerke value is found to be 29.3%. Conclusion – The study concludes that there is a significant association of biosocial parameters including prakriti body types with perceived stress levels amidst COVID–19 pandemic.

Background: Acne vulgaris is the main skin disease problem for adolescents. The complication of acne in adolescents is scars left on the face, which affects stress levels. Stress has harmful potential when the conditions exceed the individual's ability to cope. Kenjeran area has a tropical climate and weather which are the factors that cause acne vulgaris. Objective: This research aims to study the association between acne vulgaris severity and stress among adolescents in Kenjeran, Surabaya Methods: This research used non-probability purposive sampling technique and observational analytic method with cross-sectional design. Assessment of the acne severity was carried out by dermatologist using Lehmann’s Grading System and stress levels were assessed using the Perceived Stress Scale questionnaire in 109 adolescent subjects. Results: The highest frequency is women aged 15 years. The dominance is in mild acne severity with moderate stress. It was found that adolescents with acne vulgaris are at risk of experiencing stress even though the analysis of the results using fisher-exact showed that there was no significant association between the acne severity and stress level in adolescents with acne vulgaris (p=0.113). Conclusion: The presence of acne vulgaris puts adolescents at risk of experiencing mild, moderate, or severe stress. It requires attention because can cause adverse effects that affect adolescents into adulthood life.

Background: Menopause is the cessation of the last menstruation that occurs in the climacteric period and the hormone estrogen is no longer formed. The older the age, the more diseases suffered at the age of menopause, such as hypertension. Hypertension is a condition when a person experiences an increase in blood pressure either slowly or suddenly. The factors that cause hypertension are mostly due to stress. This study aims to determine the relationship between stress levels with the incidence of hypertension in postmenopausal women. Methods: The design of this research is correlational analytic. The sample is 50 respondents with the Stratified Random Sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The results of the study were analyzed using the Spearman rank statistical test. Result: The results showed that there were 24 people (48.0%) with moderate stress levels and 18 people (36.0%) experiencing Stage I Hypertension. The results of the Spearman's Rank correlation test showed that the value of value = 0.000 was smaller than the value of = 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between stress levels and the incidence of hypertension in postmenopausal women. Conclusion: It is expected that respondents will increase their knowledge about how to deal with stress so that they do not experience stress at a severe level so that it does not have a bad impact on them.

Abstract Objectives The study was designed to examine the relationship between stress and dietary behavior of female students (15–18 years). Methods A total of 300 adolescent girls (15–18 yrs.) were selected from Junior college, Hyderabad. A structured questionnaire had been used to collect the general profile of the adolescent girls. Height and weight of the subjects were measured by standardized methods. The food frequency questionnaire and 24 hour recall (3 days) has also been taken. Cohen's perceived stress scale was used to assess the stress levels among the adolescent girls. Results Over half of the students were found some level of stress, 13% were suffering from severe stress levels, 30.0% had moderate stress and another 15.6% had mild stress. Students who have experienced severe to moderate levels of stress were more likely to eat cereal products (P < 0.05), fried items and the highly processed food items (P < 0.05). The mean intake of fruits and vegetables was significantly low (P < 0.05) among the students having severe and moderate stress. The carbohydrate and fat intake was found significantly (P < 0.05) higher among the severe and moderately stressed students. Conclusions These results show a clear difference in food selection patterns between stressed and non-stressed female students with stress being a more significant predictor of unhealthy food selection. Further research is needed using a qualitative approach to understand how stress and eating behaviour are related among adolescent students. Funding Sources It's a cross sectional study, no funds received from any organizations or institute.

Research on the relationship of self efficacy with stress levels in compiling the final project (thesis) FKIP .Islamic University Jember Year 2016 .Batch Year with 31 students surveyed. The method used for data collection .ncludes observation, interviews and questionnaires, the analysis used is Product Moment correlation analysis. Based on the observation results obtained a description of the psychology of students when preparing their thesis, followed by interviews with 8 FKIP students, there were 6 students who experienced stress when facing thesis. The distribution of questionnaires to 31 students was continued, as many as 8 students in the category of high self-efficacy and moderate stress, 5 students in the category of moderate and high stress self-efficacy, and 18 students in the category of moderate self-efficacy and moderate stress. In this study students who are preparing the final project are in the medium category, meaning that between self efficacy and stress faced by balanced students. This proves that between self efficacy and stress levels students have a relationship. Keywords :Self Efficacy, Student Stress
