Attitude is defined as acquired disposition, readiness for a certain way of perception, thinking, emotional reacting and behaving. The formation of social attitudes is greatly in influence by a group (alcoholics group). Drinking alcohol also disrupts higher cognitive processes: abstraction, conceptualization, problem solving and influences on different opinions.Our research concerned the impact of chronic alcohol use and membership to alcoholic group as a framework that influences attitudes towards sexuality. 200 persons were sample in this research: 100 alcohol addicts and 100 persons of the control group. The instrument used in this study was-Scale of attitudes toward sex.Statistically significant difference was found in five attitudes:–Differences in two paragraphs point to some homosexual orientation. We can confidently say that this is a “latent homosexuality in an alcoholic”, it is possible that the difference arises because of the presence of homosexuals in the group of alcoholics, although the subjects did not say to have such orientation.–Some conservatism is present in the attitude drinkers to sexuality of the young, they argue that sexual experience can wait until more mature years.–Extramarital relationships are positively evaluated by the control group, while alcoholics show greater disapproval.–Alcoholics have the attitude that sexual arousal does not come with ease, unlike the control group.–They are more liberal about the social situation of people with HIV (a certain degree of identification with an estimated negative social group).Results showed small difference in attitudes between alcoholics and nonalcoholic.

The objective of this research is to examine the impact of “Great Mom Great Children” training to improve young street mother stimulation skill. The subjects of the research are from Yogyakarta. They are young homeless mothers who are commonly referred to as a street mother, young mothers who are less than 18 years old, mothers for unwanted pregnancy, mothers who have 0 to 5 years old children and mothers who are upbringing their children themselves. The experiment design used in this research is untreated control group design with dependent pretest and post-test sample. The data is collected by using Children Stimulation Skill Development Scale. The researchers perform Wilcoxon Test to examine the difference between stimulation skill level before and after the test. The result suggested that there was a significant difference before and after the treatment was given. It can be seen from Z=-1,755 and p=0,079) (2-tailed)/0, 0395 (1-tailed) with p<0.05. Also, the result of Mann Whitney U-test showed that the average level of stimulation skill in experiment group participant was higher than that of control group participant with the result of pretest-posttest (p= 0,074 (2-tailed)/ p= 0.037 (1-tailed) where p<0.05 which meant significant. In conclusion,“Great Mom Great Children” training is an effective method to improve children’ stimulation skill for young street mothers.

Introduction: The CJEM Social Media Team was created in 2014 to assist the journal with the dissemination of its research online. It consists of two Social Media Editors (Junior and Senior) and a team of volunteer medical students and residents to assist their work. Collaborative promotional agreements were developed to promote CJEM articles on the Skeptics’ Guide to Emergency Medicine (SGEM) podcast through the ‘Hot off the Press’ (HOP) series and the CanadiEM blog through an infographic series. Methods: CJEM papers were selected for promotion by the Team based on their perceived interest to the online community of emergency physicians. Altmetric scores, which are a measure of online dissemination derived from a weighted algorithm of social media metrics, were collated for articles promoted using the SGEM HOP or CanadiEM blogs. A control group was created using the articles with the top two Altmetric scores in each CJEM issue in 2015 and 2016. Erratum, Letters, and articles written by the social media editors were excluded from the control groups. The success of the social media promotion was quantified through the measurement of Altmetric scores as of January 1, 2017. Unpaired two-tailed t-tests with unequal variance were used to test for significant differences. Results: 106 and 82 eligible articles were published in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Four articles in 2015 and two articles in 2016 were excluded from the control groups because they were written by the social media editors. SGEM HOP podcasts promoted one article in 2015 and five articles in 2016. CanadiEM infographics promoted three articles in 2015 and eight articles in 2016. No articles were promoted in both series. The average Altmetric score was higher for SGEM HOP (61.0) than CanadiEM Infographics (31.5, p<0.04), 2015 controls (15.8, p<0.01), and 2016 controls (13.6, p<0.01). The average Altmetric score for CanadiEM Infographics was higher than 2015 controls (p<0.04) and 2016 controls (p<0.02). There was no significant difference between the control groups. Conclusion: The results suggest that collaborating with established social media websites to promote CJEM articles using podcasts and infographics increases their social media dissemination. Given the nonrandomized design of these results, causative conclusions cannot be drawn. A randomized study of the impact of social media promotion on readership is underway.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine if changes in dental development are associated with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or ADHD medications. Study Design: This retrospective chart review evaluated the dental age of 128 patients between 6 and 16 years of age using the Demirjian method from the following two groups a) children with ADHD b) unaffected children. The ADHD group was further stratified into four groups according to the medication type. The impact of ADHD on dental age difference (the difference between dental age and chronologic age) was analyzed using T-test and the association between medication type and dental age difference was analyzed through one way ANOVA. Results: The mean difference between estimated dental age and chronologic age (dental age difference) for all subjects was 0.80 years. There was no significant dental age difference in subjects with ADHD and the control group (0.78±1.28vs. 0.84 ±1.09 years respectively; P=0.75) and there was no significant difference in dental age difference and type of medication (P=0.84). Conclusion: No significant difference was found between children with ADHD and unaffected children with respect to dental age difference. No significant differences were found in dental age difference in the four medication groups.

This study aimed to reveal the impact of the use of conceptual maps in facilitating the understanding of the grammatical rules among tenth basic students in the Juwaida Secondary Comprehensive School for Girls in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and in order to achieve this goal the study was applied to two groups: the control group and its number (30 students) and experimental And its number is (30 students), and the pre- test was applied to both groups, and after reassuring the application of the test in the same way, grammatical rules designed on the electronic conceptual mapping strategy were provided with the experimental group, and the traditional method of indoctrination of grammatical rules with the control group was made, and the difference appeared in understanding Those rules between students of the two groups; The results of the study showed that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups, and the difference is attributed to the use of electronic concept maps in the teaching of members of the experimental group, and the study recommends the need to use electronic concepts maps to explain the Arabic grammar for tenth grade students.

This study explores the impact of unannounced quizzes on students performance on Quantitative Analysis examinations by comparing course sections with unannounced quizzes to sections with announced quizzes. The difference in academic performance between students with unannounced quizzes and students with announced quizzes was examined in this study. Test scores for the first and second semesters were compared between the students with unannounced quizzes and students with announced quizzes. A significant difference was found in academic performance between the group with unannounced quizzes and group with announced quizzes. The group with unannounced quizzes showed better performance than the control group with announced quizzes. Therefore, this study demonstrates that an unannounced quiz is more effective than announced quiz in Quantitative Analysis Performance.

The objective of the research was to identify the impact of the strategy of the six hats in the achievement and decision-making in the teaching methods for the third year students in the faculties of education. The researchers followed the experimental method in their research, and the number of members of the research sample (70) (35) students studied the strategy of the six hats, the control group and the number of its members (35) students studied in the usual way, and then the researchers between the two groups statistically computed in the variables: In order to achieve the goal of the research, the researchers formulated a set of behavioral objectives for the scientific material that will be studied in the experiment. They then prepared experimental plans for the experimental group in accordance with the strategy of the six hats and according to the usual method of the control group, (50), and a decision-making scale consisting of (41) paragraphs with three alternatives. The net has shown There was a statistically significant difference at the mean level (0.05) among the average scores of the experimental group that studied the strategy of the six hats. It obtained an average of (41,78), compared to the control group studied in the normal manner; In the test of achievement, as well as in the decision-making scale, the experiment obtained an average of (78,30). The control group, which was studied in the usual way, obtained an average of 61,45. The difference in the achievement test and the decision- In the light of the results of the research, the researchers recommended, among other things, the adoption of the strategy of the six hats in the Dries to its impact on the collection and decision-making.

Scientific research into the reduction of stigmatization, particularly related to specific problems such as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), is scarce. In the present study, we examine the impact of a video-based antistigma intervention program for OCD in a pretest-posttest control group research. After being randomly assigned to either an intervention (n= 101) or control group (n= 96), the participants reported their attitudes on a hypothetical case vignette before and after OCD vs. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) videos, and again six months later as a follow up assessment. The mixed design analyses for the group comparisons indicated that although there was no significant difference in the measures of the control group, the participants watching the anti-stigma OCD video, in which the focus was psychoeducation and interaction strategies, reported significantly lower scores on social distances and negative beliefs for the case vignettes they read, and this difference was maintained six months later. Then, the present results indicate the effectiveness of our anti-stigma intervention program for OCD. Interventions to reduce stigmatization can also be viewed as effective tools for changing the attitudes of people toward OCD, although further research and applications are needed related to specific disorders if a longlasting impact is to be achieved.

The mode of development of the COVID-19 pandemic in Russia and the impact of the epidemic on the areas of scientific research, education and functioning of the fuel and energy complex are discussed. The official statistics revealed evidence both of effectivity of the taken anti-epidemic measures in Moscow and of possible cases of incorrectness of statistical data. The social situation and the mode of development of the epidemic in Moscow and in the regions of Russia are essentially different, that reduces the effectiveness of anti-epidemic measures introduced uniformly throughout the whole country. The conditions of the pandemic and quarantine are difficult for everyone, but organizations and persons with a more modern informational character of production adapt to them more easily. In general, it can be suggested that the epidemic besides the very essential losses gives an important impulse for social-economic and political modernization of the society.

Background: There is a growing interest in the correlation between antioxidants and periodontal disease. In this study, we aimed to investigate the effect of oxidative stress and the impact of two antioxidants, curcumin and rutin, respectively, in the etiopathology of experimentally induced periodontitis in diabetic rats. Methods: Fifty Wistar albino rats were randomly divided into five groups and were induced with diabetes mellitus and periodontitis: (1) (CONTROL)—control group, (2) (DPP)—experimentally induced diabetes mellitus and periodontitis, (3) (DPC)—experimentally induced diabetes mellitus and periodontitis treated with curcumin (C), (4) (DPR)—experimentally induced diabetes mellitus and periodontitis treated with rutin (R) and (5) (DPCR)—experimentally induced diabetes mellitus and periodontitis treated with C and R. We evaluated malondialdehyde (MDA) as a biomarker of oxidative stress and reduced glutathione (GSH), oxidized glutathione (GSSG), GSH/GSSG and catalase (CAT) as biomarkers of the antioxidant capacity in blood harvested from the animals we tested. The MDA levels and CAT activities were also evaluated in the gingival tissue. Results: The control group effect was statistically significantly different from any other groups, regardless of whether or not the treatment was applied. There was also a significant difference between the untreated group and the three treatment groups for variables MDA, GSH, GSSG, GSH/GSSG and CAT. There was no significant difference in the mean effect for the MDA, GSH, GSSG, GSH/GSSG and CAT variables in the treated groups of rats with curcumin, rutin and the combination of curcumin and rutin. Conclusions: The oral administration of curcumin and rutin, single or combined, could reduce the oxidative stress and enhance the antioxidant status in hyperglycemic periodontitis rats.

Abstract OBJECTIVE To explore the effect of group medical games on the hospitalization adaptability of pediatric patients with neuro tumor. METHODS pediatric patients with neuro tumor (age:6 to 13 years) who were treated in hospital from June to December 2019 and were hospitalized for 1 month to 2 months. 29 pediatric patients(mean age:9y) were selected as the control group and treated as usual; 26 pediatric patients(meanage:8y) were selected as the experimental group for group therapeutic play intervention. Interventions last Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week, with an average duration of one hour. Group medical play include: medical picture book education, medical preview game, emotional games, social table games. Two groups completed self-made questionnaires at the time of admission and two weeks after admission, including: diet, sleep, compliance, and social status, hospital adaptation and other related issues, two groups completed a satisfaction questionnaire after two weeks of admission, recorded analysis and compared the difference of questionnaire data and satisfaction of the two groups of pediatric patients. RESULTS There was no statistical difference in age and sex between the two groups, and there was no significant difference in baseline RESULTS: The re-test results showed that the experimental group was significantly better than the control group in terms of social status, hospital adaptation, compliance and family satisfaction(p<0.05). CONCLUSION Group medical games can effectively improve the adaptability, compliance and family satisfaction of pediatric with neuro tumor.
