Abstract We discuss the existence and uniqueness of stationary and ergodic nonlinear autoregressive processes when exogenous regressors are incorporated into the dynamic. To this end, we consider the convergence of the backward iterations of dependent random maps. In particular, we give a new result when the classical condition of contraction on average is replaced with a contraction in conditional expectation. Under some conditions, we also discuss the dependence properties of these processes using the functional dependence measure of Wu (2005, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences 102, 14150–14154) that delivers a central limit theorem giving a wide range of applications. Our results are illustrated with conditional heteroscedastic autoregressive nonlinear models, Generalized AutoRegressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH) processes, count time series, binary choice models, and categorical time series for which we provide many extensions of existing results.

We study consistency and asymptotic normality of LS estimators in the EV (errors in variables) regression model under weak dependent errors that involve a wide range of linear and nonlinear time series. In our investigations we use a functional dependence measure of Wu [16]. Our results without mixing conditions complete the known asymptotic results for independent and dependent data obtained by Miao et al. [7]-[10].

The purpose of the study is a historiographical analysis of the works of modern Ukrainian historians on the issues of ethnic history of the Greeks of Ukraine, who belong to its oldest and most stable ethnic communities. In this regard, several tasks are set, one of which is to define main thematic areas of these studies and the degree of their analysis. The methodology is based on the scientific principles of historicism and objectivity. Specific scientific methods of historiographic analysis, synthesis, ideographic and other methods were used. Scientific novelty is determined primarily by the fact that this topic within the outlined chronological boundaries has not become the subject of a separate scientific study so far. Conclusions: Development of issues of ethnic history of the Greeks of Ukraine, which was initiated in the studies of scholars from Western European countries and the Russian Empire at the end of the XVIII – XIX centuries and has evolved significantly thanks to the scientific achievements of Soviet historians, received a new impetus in the early 1990s in the works of Ukrainian historians. The emergence of another wave of scientific interest in this topic is associated with the reset of the national historical science after the proclamation of independence of Ukraine, the imperatives of state ethnopolitics, the demands of the Ukrainian public, etc. These developments are based on a wide range of newly discovered sources and are characterized by modern research approaches, rethinking key issues of the problem, developing new theories (primarily on the ethnogenesis of Urums and Roumeans), etc. It is determined that a significant contribution to the study of the issue was made by the staff of the Institute of History of Ukraine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, in particular the Cabinet of Ukrainian-Greek Relations (since 2007 – Research Center for Ukrainian-Greek Relations) headed by N.O. Terentyeva. Against the background of a wide variety of issues on the ethnic history of Ukrainian Greeks, which have a fairly high level of development today, primarily in the history of the Greeks of Nizhyn and North Azov region, their national and cultural life in independent Ukraine is the least represented

The total energy intensity of goods, labour and services as an indicator of energy efficiency is introduced in DSTU 3682-98 "Methods of determination of total energy cost of goods, labour and services", but some of its components listed in the standard still do not have clear algorithms for determining them. The article provides an overview of changes and extensions to the methodology presented in the articles of scientists of the Institute of General Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, who develop this methodology for more than 20 years. Authors propose such extensions and advancements to the methodology: the calculation algorithm of direct and technological energy intensity of goods production was advanced by the use of proportions for each product for multi-productive technologies, new calculation algorithm is proposed to assess energy intensity of labour and technological assets, also a set of hazardous pollutions was accounted in the method of assessments of abatement technologies energy intensity. The proposed advanced methodology could be used both for existing single- and multi-products technologies retrofit planning and for the design of new technological facilities taking into account a wide range of production factors including impact on the environment. Keywords: energy intensity of products, technology, direct energy intensity, total energy intensity, distribution of common energy costs

Abstract-Medicinal Plants are always of immense vital component for pharmaceutical word. Azadirachta indica, commonly known as neem, has attracted worldwide prominence in recent years owing to its wide range of medicinal properties. Neem is a medicinal plant which is always at top from ancient world to modern world. The importance of the neem tree has been recognized by the US National Academy of Sciences, which published a report in 1992 entitled 'Neem- a tree for solving global problems'. Various parts of neem are sources for mankind to treat many severe diseases. More than 140 compounds have been isolated from different parts of neem. All parts of the neem tree- leaves, flowers, seeds, fruits, roots and bark have been used traditionally for the treatment of inflammation, infections, fever, skin diseases and dental disorders. Neem leafanditsconstituentshavebeendemonstrated to exhibit immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory,antihyperglycaemic,antiulcer,antimalarial,antifungal,antibacterial,antiviral,antioxidant,antimutagenicandanticarcinogenicproperties. Keeping these points in view the present study is aimed to study antimicrobial activity of plant extracts prepared from leaves of neem plant against Klebsiella pneumoniae,Pseudomonasaeruginosa,Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. There is a significant antimicrobial activity observed by neem leave extract against these microbial strains.

Border, identity, culture: ethnography of the Belarusian-Russian borderland. collective monograph / executive. ed. R.A. Grigorieva, N.G. Demeter, A.V. Gurko / Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology RAS; Center for Research of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. - M .: IEA RAN, 2020 .-- 360 p. This monograph represents the results of joint research of Belarusian and Russian ethnologists, which were carried out along the entire perimeter of the Belarusian-Russian border area: in the Gomel, Mogilev, Vitebsk regions from the Republic of Belarus; Bryansk, Smolensk, Pskov from the Russian Federation. On the basis of many years of field research, with the involvement of archival materials, data from sociological surveys, the unity and / or differences of cultural elements on different sides of the border in all their diversity were identified, and transboundary ethnocultural areas were identified. One of the key problems of the study is the peculiarities of the formation of ethnic identity in different states and in the conditions of weak ethnocultural distinctiveness of residents in the border area. The study of cross-border relations and contacts has a practical importance for the formation of various kinds of cooperation between neighboring countries. The book is dedicated for specialists in the field of ethnology and other humanities, as well as for a wide range of readers.

Artificial neural networks (ANNs) are flexible computing frameworks and universal approximators that can be applied to a wide range of forecasting problems with a high degree of accuracy. However, using ANNs to model linear problems have yielded mixed results, and hence; it is not wise to apply them blindly to any type of data. This is the reason that hybrid methodologies combining linear models such as ARIMA and nonlinear models such as ANNs have been proposed in the literature of time series forecasting. Despite of all advantages of the traditional methodologies for combining ARIMA and ANNs, they have some assumptions that will degenerate their performance if the opposite situation occurs. In this paper, a new methodology is proposed in order to combine the ANNs with ARIMA in order to overcome the limitations of traditional hybrid methodologies and yield more general and more accurate hybrid models. Empirical results with Canadian Lynx data set indicate that the proposed methodology can be a more effective way in order to combine linear and nonlinear models together than traditional hybrid methodologies. Therefore, it can be applied as an appropriate alternative methodology for hybridization in time series forecasting field, especially when higher forecasting accuracy is needed.

In response to wrongful convictions, there has been a revolution in criminal procedure and research in law and science. This review seeks to summarize the cross-disciplinary explosion in work studying known wrongful convictions, examining their causes, and assessing policy reforms designed to help detect and prevent errors in criminal justice. Scholars have increasingly studied the characteristics of known wrongful-conviction cases, including by analyzing archival records and by creating public registries of exonerations. Scholars have conducted research in law, psychology, statistics, criminology, and other disciplines, as well as interdisciplinary research, designed to better understand the phenomenon of wrongful convictions and how to prevent errors. Scientific bodies, such as the National Academy of Sciences, have made important recommendations based on this research. Furthermore, the conversation is global, with litigation, research, and policy work across jurisdictions. A wide range of jurisdictions have adopted noteworthy changes designed to safeguard crucial types of evidence, such as confession, forensic, and eyewitness evidence, during police investigations and at trial. As a result, law and science have increasingly come together to produce tangible improvements to criminal justice.
