The ANNETTE Project (Advanced Networking for Nuclear Education and Training and Transfer of Expertise) is well underway, and one of its work packages addresses the design, development and implementation of nuclear fusion training. A systematic approach is used that leads to the development of new training courses, based on identified nuclear competences needs of the work force of (future) fusion reactors and on the current availability of suitable training courses. From interaction with stakeholders involved in the ITER design and construction or the JET D-T campaign, it became clear that the lack of nuclear safety culture awareness already has an impact on current projects. Through the collaboration between the European education networks in fission (ENEN) and fusion (FuseNet) in the ANNETTE project, this project is well positioned to support the development of nuclear competences for ongoing and future fusion projects. Thereby it will make a clear contribution to the realization of fusion energy.

AbstractThe wearable electronics integrated with textile-based devices is a promising strategy to meet the requirements of human comfort as well as electrical performances. This research presents a design and development framework for a seamless glove sensor system using digital knitting fabrication. Based on the performance requirements of glove sensors for controlling a prosthetic hand, desirable design components include electrical conductivity, comfort, formfit, electrical sensitivity, and customizable design. These attributes are determined and achieved by applying appropriate materials and fabrication technologies. In this study, a digital knitting CAD/CAM system is utilized to meet the desired performance criteria, and two prototypes of the seamless glove sensor systems are successfully developed for the detection of both human and robotic finger motions. This digital knitting system will provide considerable potential for customized design development as well as a sustainable production process. This structured, systematic approach could be adapted in the future development of wearable electronic textile systems.

AbstractBackground: Given the limited available time of in-service professionals, the balance between the perceived importance of the course content and training needs is essential for the acceptance and attractiveness of training courses aimed at them. Objectives: The goal of the paper is to contribute to the development of entrepreneurship and business training programs for European SME managers. Methods/Approach: In six European countries a survey focusing on SME managers’ views on the importance of individual items from a list of potential course content items, and their training needs was carried out, and followed by an analysis using exploratory and multivariate techniques. It was aimed at identifying homogeneous groups of managers with common training needs and perceptions of content importance. Results: Homogeneous groups of managers who assign the same importance to certain competences and who have common training needs are identified. Conclusions: Results of our research could help training institutions to develop courses aimed at SME managers. The balancing approach proved to be an interesting method of combining conflicting requirements for the training course curriculum development.

This article explores the relationship between education, training and the single market, focusing on the market for the production of policy evaluations in the areas of education and training, culture and youth of the European Commission. Two questions are addressed: the first question relates to the geographical distribution of the organisations that deliver policy evaluation services to the European Commission (‘Commission’) in those areas; and the second relates to the nature of the ideas for policy development put forward in the evaluations examined. Based on information gathered from 23 evaluations carried out between 2012 and 2016 (in particular, the circa 300 recommendations they included), the analysis reveals that although the Commission relied on competitive processes for the award of those evaluations, competition was somewhat restricted: there is a marked dominance of a limited number of countries as the powerhouses for the Commission’s education policy evaluation. In relation to the second question, and by contrast to other policy spaces, the analysis provided little evidence of unfettered penetration of private sector ‘ideological repertoires’, lexicons and sensitivities into the European policy evaluation space.

This study aims to determine and analyze the magnitude of the influence of the development of leadership quality, coordination and training and education on improving safety culture. Based on the results of research using partial and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 24 shows that: partially shows that the role of leadership has a positive and significant influence of 26.4% on safety culture. The second independent variable is coordination which has a positive and significant effect of 74.4% on safety culture. Partially the third independent variable of education and training also has a positive and significant effect of 20.5% on the quality of safety culture. Furthermore, the independent variables of the Role of Leadership, coordination, training and education are tested simultaneously or together using the F Test and prove to have an influence with three positive independent variables and all three are significant to the Improvement of Safety Culture with the magnitude of influence can be seen from the coefficient of determination (R2) is 74.9%

The research aims to define the concept of procedural Justice and analysis of their relationship and their impact in job satisfaction for workers in the practice in the General Company for Trade cars and machinery. To achieve the aim of the research was to identify the design included (13) items, either formed research sample of (200) workers from the employees of the company, The researcher used a set of statistical methods such as (simple correlation coefficient, specifically% R2 coefficient, F test, V23 program-AMOS, and the statistical program SPSS-V23, and the relative importance), The researcher found that there is a correlation statistically significant between procedural Justice and job satisfaction, as no significant effect statistically variable procedural Justice in job satisfaction relationship, Search is over a set of the most important recommendations that emphasize that it is necessary to be based on the procedures applied by the company's management on ethical standards, and the establishment of educational seminars for employees on a regular basis, and their inclusion in the rehabilitation and training courses.

Focusing on health services to patients (patient center care) is a new paradigm that prioritizes quality and safe services (safety) for patients by considering the needs and values of patients. Many patient demands are filed with hospitals due to insecurity of safety measures which are very much related to patient safety culture. In conclusion, based on the multiple linear regression equation, namely: patient safety culture = -5,968 + 0,283 communication + 0,212 work climate + 0,856 culture not looking for who is wrong + 0.524 incident reporting +0,364 education and training, then the variables that most influence on patient safety culture are culture is not looking for who is wrong. The researcher suggests that it is necessary to develop education and training on patient safety culture and instill a culture of not looking for who is wrong but why mistakes occur.

The free platform Moodle was integrated with protected University Administrative Information System Electronic University (UAIS EU) of Bauman Moscow State Technical University, which serves to support the administrative work for control of educational process. The following main problems were solved: creation of unified data representation in the two systems; creation of students' and training courses' databases in Moodle based on data from UAIS EU. As result unique software was developed, new quality of service was obtained, namely different sides of University activity such as teaching, learning, and administrative control of educational process were automated and joined together; the time required for information processing and administrative decision-making was reduced; the number of errors in the systems due to the influence of a human factor was reduced. The results obtained can be used to simplify the work of teachers and enhance the performance and operational efficiency of the administrative system at any university.
