The basis of interpersonal relationships is communication as a means of information exchange and an important factor in influence on the of personality`s development. There is a world perception, norms awareness and society values which are perceived through the prism of interpersonal relations. The young people are characterized by the lack of accumulated life experience; values are influenced from the outside, so that influence is the reason for their unstable behavior in the legal field. In a transitive society, all processes are exacerbated, including growing deviant behavior of adolescents. Qualitative work in the organization of legal support of interpersonal relations in the educational environment can help to keep students from committing negative manifestations in interpersonal communication. This form of activity of the teaching staff could be an integral part of the preventive impact on students.

The article presents a psychological analysis of the behavior features and interpersonal relations of students-managers in a metropolis. The relevance of the present work is determined by the fact that for young people, higher education is associated with a change in their social status when they move from direct dependence on their parents to independent actions and active life in a big city. The specifics of the urban space of a metropolis have a strong influence on their mental state and understanding of the world around them. The popularity of the manager’s profession among young people entering universities has also contributed to the relevance of the study. Young people set themselves the goal of “learning to manage and lead.” The conditions of the big city impose special requirements on future managers, focusing them on the implementation of adaptive psychological functions. The manager’s ability to conform to social attitudes, to create a pleasant impression for others becomes for him a professionally important quality. As a result, students face a paradoxical situation involving a system of “double standards”. In this regard, they encounter difficulties in social adaptation and the formation of stable interpersonal relationships. To solve this problem, an empirical study was conducted, which allowed determining the values of the main strategies of interpersonal relations based on a comparative analysis of the basic ideas of first-year students. Empirical data were obtained based on the psychological method by L.N. Sobchik “Diagnostics of interpersonal relations” (DIR). The results obtained make it possible to carry out preventive psychohygienic activities with students to form their social adaptability and maintain mental health.

The specifics of the activities of teachers working with children with special educational needs determines the nature of interpersonal relationships that develop between all subjects of the educational process. Experiencing teachers of the crisis of interpersonal relations contributes to the emergence of mental burnout as a special state of physical, emotional and mental exhaustion of the individual. There is a rather limited number of scientific works devoted to the study of the relationship between the styles of interpersonal relations of teachers working with children with special educational needs, and mental burnout. Teachers of the Regional state educational institution "Kursk boarding school for children with disabilities" took part in the study (50 people). Observation and conversation, as well as standardized methods for diagnosing teachers' burnout and styles of interpersonal relationships, were used to collect data. Methods of mathematical-statistical analysis were used to process the results. Teachers who work with children with special educational needs are adapted to the stressful effects of the traumatic circumstances of professional activity by limiting emotional return in interpersonal communication and selective response, lack of due attention to their wards, facilitation or reduction of job duties (the severity of the "Resistance" phase: Xm. ± σx = 56.80 ± 22.30; “Inadequate emotional selective response”: Xm. ± σx = 15.38 ± 6.94; “Emotional and moral disorientation”: Xm. ± σx = 11.66 ± 6, 32; "Expansion of the sphere of economy of emotions": Xav. ± σx = 15.48 ± 13.62; "Reduction of professional duties": Xav. ± σx = 14.28 ± 8.51). It has been empirically proven that straightforward-aggressive (β = 0.353 at p = 0.015) and dependent-obedient (β = 0.379 at p = 0.005) styles of interpersonal relations can act as factors in the emergence of manifestations of mental burnout of teachers, and the imperious-leading style (β = - 0.320 at p = 0.016) – a resource for overcoming it (F = 4.37; CMD = 0.57; df = 5.44).

ISSN 2300-0422. DOI10.14746/kse.2019.16.6. The aim of the article is to answer the question of why contemporary interpersonal relationships need dialogue in cultural and social transformations ? The article is based on the conclusions of the author’s research carried out among a selected group of students revealing the characteristics of homo construens. Young people who took part in the research directed (constructed) the scripts of partnership and family biographies as free, original and willing to change. On the other hand, the same scripts unmasked loneliness and a huge need for recognition in the world of cultural and narcissistic demands for self-actualisation, satisfaction and a sense of fulfilmentin the spheres of partnerships and family. The need for dialogue requires pedagogical support that will revealthe values of community, social groups and partnerships.

The article highlights the problem of manipulative manifestations in interpersonal relationships of students of general secondary education. Different points of scientists' view on the admissibility of manipulation in interpersonal communication of school students have been considered. Today researchers do not pay enough attention to the detecting of manipulative manifestations in the interaction of students of general secondary education, as well as socio-pedagogical diagnosis of personal characteristics of adolescents prone to manipulation. Scientists consider the use of manipulative techniques as an unacceptable means of socio-pedagogical and psychological influence because manipulation encourages others to perform actions which are contrary to the people's interests. In addition, it is necessary to establish the socio-pedagogical consequences of the threat of negative manifestations of manipulation in the educational sphere. The purpose of this article is to study and analyze the problems of manipulation in interpersonal communication between students of general secondary education, as well as to identify the personal authorities of students, school to manipulation, or, conversely, unable to resist it. To date, researchers have not proposed a holistic and systematic model of diagnosis and prevention of manipulation in the interaction of adolescent students. A small number of empirical studies would show not only the result but also nature of the impact of manipulation on the relationship between participants in the educational process. The question of the use of manipulation in the socio-pedagogical aspect is insufficiently studied. Observation of students' behaviour during the experiment shows that manipulations are widely used in adolescence. It is established that the issue of manipulative influence and manifestations of manipulation in interpersonal relations of students by the humanities, especially social pedagogy and social psychology, remains open and not fully explored. The prospect for further research is the development and implementation of a training program for the prevention of manipulative manifestations in interpersonal relationships of school students, as well as providing methodological assistance to professionals who face this problem.

Both oral and written communication is influential and prevalent in modern societies. This research study focused on interpersonal communication practices in a business context. The aim was to determine whether youths between 18 and 23 years of age undertaking their six-month period of internship as novice employees were adequately prepared to meet the demands of the workplace. Data were collected from the employers at organisations that employed novice employees. This provided critical perspectives on the competency of young people to cope with the communication demands of the workplace. Quantitative and qualitative methods of data collection were used. Sixty eight (68) employers completed the questionnaires. Interviews were also conducted with six randomly selected employers at the organisations where the young people were undertaking their respective internships. The findings show that workplace communication is complex and that many young people struggle to meet the challenges of communicating adequately in the workplace. Deliberate practice is fundamental to the development of communication skills and expert performance in the workplace. Recommendations are made to better prepare young people to face the challenges and demands of the dynamic workplace.
