In the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, many companies are using social medias as one of their promotional tools, especially Instagram. The aim of this research is to investigate the influence of Instagram advertising and consumer perception on purchase intention in local building material stores. As this research is using a quantitative approach, the data are collected using questionnaires. The population of this research is the customers who have done several purchases and have followed the stores’ Instagram accounts. Out of the whole population, a number 100 respondents are selected through a purposive sampling technique. The collected data are processed using a SmartPLS program, with the results of no significant influence between Instagram advertising and purchase intention. However, the Instagram advertising has a significant influence on purchase intention through customer perception as the Instagram advertising has a significant influence on customer perception. Therefore, customer perception acts as the intervening variable in this research.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesadaran logo halal dan iklan media sosial Instagram terhadap keputusan pembelian produk kosmetik.  Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen wanita yang menggunakan kosmetik Wardah di Bandar Lampung, dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuisioner, dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran logo halal, dan iklan media sosial Instagram berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial maupun silmultan terhadap keputusan pembelian kosmetik. Kehalalan dapat menjadi branding yang semakin kuat, jika didukung dengan promosi melalui media sosial, yang mampu menjangkau segmentasi pasar yang lebih luas terhadap produk lokal.   ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of Awareness of the Halal Logo and Instagram Social Media Ads on Wardah Cosmetics Purchasing Decisions. This type of research used in this research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study is female consumers who use Wardah cosmetics in Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a sample of 100 respondents. The data was obtained from a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The results of this study explain that Awareness of the Halal Logo, and Instagram Social Media Ads significantly influence Wardah Cosmetics Purchasing Decisions. Simultaneous testing results showed that Halal Logo Awareness and Instagram Social Media Ads had a significant effect on Wardah Cosmetics Purchasing Decisions.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of growth opportunity, profitability, business risk, and size on the company's capital structure either partially or simultaneously.The object of research used is the property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009-2017. This study uses a purposive sampling technique in determining research samples. the number of companies selected as the study sample were 18 companies registered in the property and real estate sector. This study uses a quantitative approach. The results showed that partially growth opportunity and size had not significant effect, while  profitability and business risk had a significant effect on capital structure. the results of testing simultaneously growth opportunity, profitability, business risk, and size have a significant influence on the capital structure.

This study aims to determine the effect of Islamic work ethics on employee loyalty at Nurul Hayat Foundation in Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques are by distributing questionnaires to employees of Nurul Hayat Surabaya. The analysis technique used is SEM PLS by conducting a non-probability sampling technique used in sampling in this study, namely the purposive sampling technique. The purpose of this research is testing the influence of moslem consumer lifestyle to Apple smartphone adoption by students of Economics and Business Faculty of Airlangga University. This research uses quantitative approach and questionnaire for primary data collecting. The test was done using simple linear regression, where endogen variable (Y) is apple smartphone adoption and exogen variable (X) is moslem consumer lifestyle. Samples of this research was chosen using nonprobability sampling technique combined with accidentalsampling and purposive sampling. Samples in this research are 100 students of Economics and Business Faculty of Airlangga University.Based on the result of this research linear regression equation obtained is Y = 0.787 + 0.840 X. The measurenment of the influence of moslem consumer lifestyle to Apple smartphone adoption by students of Economics and Business Faculty of Airlangga University has 0.290 (29%) R2 value. The result of this research shows that moslem consumer lifestyle has a significant influence with Apple smartphone adoption by students of Economics and Business Faculty of Airlangga University.

The purpose of this research to analyze the effect of financial literacy, risk, investment psychology, and social media on the investment interest of the people of Jakarta in Islamic stocks. The sample used in this study uses one hundred people who will represent the entire population. Data collection in this study was carried out using a questionnaire distributed by the purposive sampling technique. The statistical methods used are descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, validity and reliability, and hypotheses using SPSS Statistics 23 application as a data processor. The results of this study are the influence of the independent variables simultaneously on the interest in investing in Islamic stocks. However, in a partial test, only financial literacy, risk, and investment psychology factors have a significant influence on interest in investing in Islamic stocks, while social media factors do not have a significant influence on interest in investing in Islamic stocks.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan, risiko, psikologi investasi, dan media sosial terhadap minat berinvestasi masyarakat Jakarta pada saham syariah. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah seratus orang yang mewakili seluruh populasi. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebar dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif, asumsi klasik, regresi linier berganda, validitas dan reliabilitas, serta hipotesis dengan menggunakan alat bantu berupa aplikasi SPSS Statistics 23 sebagai pengolah data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh variabel bebas secara bersamaan terhadap minat berinvestasi saham syariah. Akan tetapi pada pengujian secara parsial, hanya faktor literasi keuangan, risiko, dan psikologi investasi yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berinvestasi saham syariah, sedangkan faktor media sosial tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat berinvestasi saham syariah.

Advances in technology have changed the traditional music industry. Buying a physical compact disc is no longer the only way to buy music. But buying physical CDs, still accounts for more than 46% of global recorded music revenue. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of scarcity appeal in advertising on customer attitude, scarcity appeal in advertising on purchase intention, customer attitude affect purchase intention on Box Set products in Physical Album Purchases. This study uses data, which in this study were collected using survey methods. The population in this study is the music fans of artists who make Box Set albums on Buy Physical Albums. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling is a sampling technique where the sample is chosen based on the criteria, among others: music fans of artists who make Box Set albums on Buy Physical Albums who have never bought Box Set products at Physical Album Buy and have never saw the Box Set product ad on the Physical Album Buy. The results of the study on the Box Set product at Buy This Physical Album show that Scarcity Appeal in Advertising has a significant effect on customer attitude. Scarcity appeal in advertising also has a significant influence on Purchase intention. Likewise, Customer Attitude has a significant influence on Purchase Intention. This shows that the three research hypotheses were accepted as correct.

This research focuses on developing new concepts and empirically testing eWoM variable-forming factors on consumer purchasing intentions, and looking at the indirect influence of e-wom forming indicators. This study used a sample of 100 respondents who had purchased after seeing tik-tok. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling by spreading questioner online. This study also uses structural equation technique with data analysis using SEM-PLS. The results showed that Platform Assistance has a significant effect on purchase intention. Not only that, but the concern of others and also helping the company has a positive and significant influence on purchasing intentions. This study is still rare in looking at what factors form the variable e-whom and how these factors influence consumer purchasing intentions. This research in the design is static, a model that develops based on empirical studies and testing that is only limited to establishing a simple relationship related to e-wom forming factors that can affect consumer purchasing intentions through a tik-tok application.

This study aims to determine the effect of store (mall) environment and money availability on consumer impulse buying in the City of Tomorrow (Cito) Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach whose data is obtained from the results of questionnaires. The sample in this study were 389 respondents taken based on purposive sampling technique which was included in non-probability sampling techniques. The results of this study indicate that the store (mall) environment has no effect on impulse buying. Meanwhile, money availability has a positive and significant effect on consumer impulse buying in the City of Tomorrow (Cito) Surabaya.

The purpose of this study is to examine purchasing decisions through online applications (e-commerce) on an online motorcycle taxi-based delivery service. This study uses a quantitative approach, namely by collecting data from respondents using a questionnaire. The purpose of the research is to determine the effect of the promotion mix, service quality, and company image toward satisfaction of Al-Shahba Malang pilgrims through the pilgrims’ trust as an intervening variable. Population of this research is based on consumer who choosing and using Al-Shahba Malang’s umrah package in 2016-2018 as many 276 people. Sample used in this research covers 163 consumer using purposive sampling technique. In this research, the data collection techniques is by questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentations. The data gained from questionnaires was analyzed by using instrument test, path analysis, hypoteshis testing and the coefficient of determination with SPSS 21.0 version. The research proves that the three independent variables : promotion mix, service quality, and corporate image, has a positive and significant influence on the pilgrims’ trust. The promotion mix, service quality, and corporate image has a positive and significant influence on the pilgrims’ satisfaction. The pilgrims’ trust has a positive and significant influence on the pilgrims’ satisfaction. And the promotion mix, service quality, corporate image has a positive and significant indirect influence on the pilgrims’ satisfaction through pilgrims’ trust as an intervening variable.
