The Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI), developed by the World Economic Forum (WEF), is a composite indicator that integrates a total of 90 simple variables organized into 14 pillars or key dimensions of the tourism destination competitiveness. The main problem presented by this index comes from the aggregation of variables expressed in different measures, the duplicity of information, and their non-weighting in the synthetic index. This chapter proposes a new methodology for the construction of the TTCI that solves the previous problems and allows, in addition, identifying which are the pillars or dimensions that determine the differences in tourism competitiveness between the countries. The results have allowed authors to more precisely classify 136 countries according to their level of tourism competitiveness in 2017. To improve the tourism competitiveness of the countries, it is necessary to carry out policies that act on these pillars and others identified in this chapter.

Most of the people around this world have access to the internet easily nowadays; it can lead to a most common and dangerous problem, which is cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is considered as a crime which usually occurs among the young people. Cases from cyberbullying have shown that there is a growing significantly which is becoming a worrying topic for the societies to be aware of. This study revealed cyberbullying teen actors involved within the area of Jakarta. The result is very interesting. Parents play a vital role to the teens as they will become a support for them (actor and victim) and also peer groups give the high impact of the actors to conduct cyberbullying to another group. Much cyberbullying happens for the same reasons as any other form of bullying. Generally, the cyber bullies act in such manner due to them being insecure, to gain popularity, social pressure, and jealousy as well as personal grudges.

The analysis of the definitive aspect of the digital ecosystem concept is carried out, a generalized definition of this concept is given, taking into account the specific properties of its existence, which makes it possible to go beyond the IT-contextual understanding. The article provides a comparative analysis of existing approaches to assessing the digital ecosystem of education and forms the author's vision, which expands the content of the assessment mechanism, pays special attention to the impact of the digital education ecosystem on the intellectual capital development. The authors' attention is focused on studying the characteristics of the digital education ecosystem and analyzing the model for the intellectual capital development in the context of the transition of the world and Russian economies to a new technological level. Based on the analysis of empirical data, it is concluded that modern society requires a new structure (construction) and a completely different content of education. Considering the development trends of the world educational space and the characteristics of the modern intellectual economy, the necessity to develop a new model of education as a basic basis for the intellectual capital development is substantiated.

Digital globalization and Ukrainian integration into the global economic space have speeded up digitalization and determined it as a driver of increased competitiveness, economic activity and sustainable development of economic entities. Steady modernization of existing and creation of new digital and information technologies necessitates changes in the format of business models of business entities, approaches to their management. Radical changes in the strategy of business development and enterprise management processes under the influence of digitalization in the near future will become necessary prerequisite of viability and development in the digital ecosystem «state – business – society». In view of this, the purpose of this work is determined as study of the world experience and prerequisites for the transition of enterprises to digital management and development of the reference model of the economic activity and enterprise development digitization management. The approach to the digitization of economic activity management and sustainable development of domestic enterprises is proposed in the work with taking into account the world experience of business administration digitalization. It is substantiated that the enterprise management digitalization requires the definition and rethinking of forms, trends, methods, technologies and digital engineering tools, innovation policy and corresponding corporate culture, communication mechanisms between all management units for quick implementation of changes. The results of the work prove that the implementation effectiveness of management actions and measures for enterprise management digitalization, its activity and development depends on the selected digital transformation technologies, the possibility of relevant data information arrays forming, their analytical processing and presentation for certain decisions making in real time. The reference digitalization model of economic activity management and enterprise development is elaborated; its distinctive feature is the integration of three platforms (information, analytical and management) in one management loop, which allows obtaining the synergistic effect of the management process digital transformation at all its levels. The practical implementation of the proposed digitalization model of economic activity management and sustainable development of the enterprise allows gaining strategic benefits from business processes conversion and managing them into digital format, providing the management process optimization and the possibility of decisions making in real time.

We evaluate the main characteristics of the digital ecosystem of North American (USA and Canada) and 16 Latin American economies for 2019. By employing the ‘benefit of the doubt’ model rooted in non-parametric techniques to scrutinize a composite indicator designed to assess the digital ecosystem (i.e., the Digital Platform Economy (DPE) index), the analysis allows the computation of endogenous (country-specific) weights that can be used for developing more informed policy making. The results show that countries prioritize different aspects of their digital ecosystem which confirms that, contrary to homogeneous prescription, tailor-made policy is a more desirable approach if the objective is to optimize the resources deployed to enhance the countries’ digital ecosystem.

At work, an issue of the competitiveness of Polish agri-food exports was analysed. Purpose of the study was to estimate the level of competitiveness of the Polish export commodity groups related to the agri-food sector on the markets of the Visegrad Group countries and the world market and an indication of the groups and markets with potential for development in the future as also those losing market shares. In the framework of the implementation of the aim, it was decided to make the indicator analysis and estimate the comparative advantage by using a RCA ratio and absolute advantage using AGE. Polish export in the year 2015 measured indicator of RCA, was competitive on the world market in the case of animals and products of animal origin and food and beverages. RCA < 1 was for plant and products of plant origin. In the case of animals Polish exports grew at the same rate as world exports, in the case of plants were large fluctuations in AGE. The best situation was in a group of food and beverages, where AGE in most years were above zero.

The article draws attention to the global nature of the pandemic, accelerating digitalization at an unprecedented rate, with online platforms playing an indispensable role in helping citizens transition to the new life realities in the pandemic and enabling them to lead their normal daily lives despite periodic blockages. In the next decade, a technological solutions wave will affect and transform almost every area of our lives. Technology can both solve existing problems and exacerbate them, as well as create new ones. It is important to shape a fair and responsible future in which we want to live and exist, because technology can scale both solutions and problems. Marketing is an intermediate link in the information path between the enterprise and the consumer. If marketing with the help of appropriate methods and tools correctly interprets the features that characterize market processes, the market will receive consumer-oriented products. The article gives the author's definition of this term, as well as the trends in the such systems development and their ability to adapt to ever-changing conditions. It is determined that for the normal system existence it is necessary to implement an adaptive marketing information system that will resolve issues between the main system components: consumers, business structures and the state. We can assume that the modern consumption ecosystem is an information and communication environment consisting of information and technical (artificially created by man - the world of technology, etc.) and information and psychological (the world of wildlife, which includes man himself) systems. In this case, as a supply system or service system can be considered just a marketing information system that helps the whole system to achieve a social goal, and in the case of modern ecosystems to ensure the normal functioning of all elements of the system. It is concluded that it is necessary to implement an adaptive marketing information system for the normal system existence that will resolve issues between the main system components: consumers, business structures and the state. It is proved that such an information system will become the main core of a digital organization, and will be able to cover the providing solutions technology for staff, as well as managing the partner digital ecosystem and new models of administrative processes that it implements. The main functions of such a system include: the use of ready-made solutions that simplify the applications development and deployment; platform economy challenges and risks and the reaction of regulators.
