To examine whether learning difficulties play a role in depressive symptoms, 658 Finnish adolescents were asked to complete scales for depression three times during the transition to post-comprehensive education. They also reported on their learning difficulties and feelings of inadequacy as a student. The results showed that learning difficulties prospectively predicted depressive symptoms. Moreover, the impact of learning difficulties was mediated via inadequacy as a student: learning difficulties predicted feelings of inadequacy as a student which, in turn, contributed to greater increases in depressive symptoms. Finally, gender moderated the association between learning difficulties and depressive symptoms: both being a girl and having a high level of learning difficulties predicted a higher initial level of depressive symptoms.

The current era of digitalization has big impact on education, the use of technology and information is not only for learning but as an evaluation tool. This development raises problems that require the completion of high-level thinking, therefore students need to prepare the ability to think and be able to develop skills. This study aims to measure the self-efficacy of computer skills on student learning outcomes and interactions in mathematics subjects. This research method used quantitative approach in Quasi Experiment Design. Total sample were 64 students. CBT was used in evaluating mathematics subjects and using a questionnaire to determine the level of self-efficacy of computer abilities towards students learning outcomes. Analysis of research data was carried out using ANOVA, to test the hypothesis using two-way ANOVA (two-way ANOVA) using the SPSS version 25.0 for windows software program. The results showed that there was CBT of mathematics subjects towards student learning outcomes with a mean score of 85 in and a mean score of 80 with a criterion of 3.03, having impact and the criteria value 2.78. The interaction between computer-based tests with self-efficacy computer capabilities had the most correlation with a positive relationship. It can be stated that there is an impact of computer-based tests and self-efficacy of computer ability and has an interaction between CBT and self-efficacy on learning outcomes.

Introduction. Depression is one of the most serious mental problems in children and adolescents. Over recent years, there has been an increase in the incidence of depression and a reduction in the age of onset of the first symptoms of the disease. Aim. To investigate the relationship of the locus of control and a sense of self-efficacy with the intensity of symptoms depression in children. Material and methods. The study was designed for 45 students (24 boys and 21 girls) attending the 5th grade primary school. Each child completed the Children’s Depression Inventory (Kovacs), Scale Sense of Personal Competence (self-efficacy) (Juczyński) and the Scale of Locus of Control ? Primary Schools (Mathiak, Seget, Karzel). Pearson’s were conducted to investigate correlation the variables with the intensity of depressive symptoms. Results. The prevalence rate of depressive symptoms in the group of investigate children was high and amounted to 37.8%. Both variables remained in correlation to the intensity of childhood depression. It was found that as the internal sense of control increased, the intensity of depressive symptoms decreased. Children with high level of self-efficacy of their own competence have manifest fewer depressive symptoms. Conclusions. Many children in the untreated group manifest symptoms of depression. high self-efficacy and internal sense of control are conducive to maintaining mental health in children. The promotion of these personal resources should constitute an important element of preventive strategies and programs, because strengthening the health potential of children will balance and reduce the impact of risk factors.

Introduction:Psychological impact of Therapeutic Patient Education (TPE) for dialysis patients is rarely evaluated since the focus of many studies is on medical variables (i.e., adherence). Objectives:The aims of this study were: 1) to estimate the impact of a TPE program on knowledge, depression and anxiety, 2) to examine change in knowledge as a mediator of the effects of a TPE program on mental health.Method:This study was conducted in three hemodialysis units and comprised two groups: an experimental group with education and a control group with routine care. The program was based of 5 educative sessions. Knowledge, depressive and anxious symptoms were assessed with self-reported outcomes measured before and 3 months after the program. Results:The sample comprised 125 patients. Knowledge about vascular access and nutrition (p < 0.01) and depressive symptoms increased in the experimental group (p < 0.01). Analysis of mediation showed that changes in knowledge about vascular access were a significant mediator of the effects of the program on depressive symptoms (F = 4.90;p = 0.01).Discussion:Knowledge acquired during an educational program could lead to an emotional change. Improving knowledge often leads to an awareness of the risks that can modify the psychological state of patients by reminding them of their vulnerability. This study shows that it is required to be attentive to the way of transmitting knowledge. It’s necessary adapting this transmission to the needs of patients and promoting the acquisition of psychosocial competence too. Conclusion:This study shows that knowledge acquired during an educational program can lead to an emotional change in the short term. A long-term follow-up of the population should be interesting to observe these emotional effects.

The background of this study was the low student learning outcomes of PPKn, from 28 students who achievedthe completeness criteria at least only 11 students (39.29%). The low student learning outcomes are caused bythe high level of individuality between students so that the achievement of competence among studentsexperiences a very distant difference. Based on this, the researchers made improvements to student learningoutcomes through the application of STAD cooperative learning models. This research is a classroom actionresearch, with the subject of class VII of SMP Negeri 3 Teluk Kuantan. The data used in this study is PPKnlearning outcomes data. The results stated that after applying the STAD type cooperative learning model studentlearning outcomes had increased in the initial data the number of students who completed were 11 students, incycle I had an increase with the number of 18 students, and in cycle II the number of students who completedcontinued to increase by the number 22 student.

The market of tobacco products in Ukraine is one of the most dynamic and competitive. It develops under the influence of certain factors that cause structural changes, therefore, the aim of the article is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of transformation processes in the market of tobacco and their alternatives in Ukraine and identify the factors that cause them. The high level of tax burden and the proliferation of alternative products with a potentially lower risk to human health, including heating tobacco products and e-cigarettes, are key factors in the market’s transformation process. Their presence leads to an increase in illicit turnover of tobacco products, which accounts for 6.37% of the market, and the gradual replacement of cigarettes with alternative products, which account for 12.95%. The presence on the market of products that are not taxed or taxed at lower rates is one of the reasons for the reduction of excise duty revenues. According to the results of 2019, the planned indicators of revenues were not met by 23.5%. Other reasons for non-fulfillment of excise duty revenues include: declining dynamics of the tobacco products market; reduction in the number of smokers; reorientation of «cheap whites» cigarette flows from Ukraine to neighboring countries; tax avoidance. Prospects for further research are identified, namely the need to develop measures for state regulation and optimization of excise duty taxation of tobacco products and their alternatives, taking into account the risks to public health and increasing demand of illegal products.
