The myofeedback-based teletreatment system allows patients to receive tactile and/or visual feedback on muscle activity and muscle relaxation times. Health-care professionals can analyse muscle activity and muscle relaxation times and provide guidance to the patient on the course of treatment. The system was evaluated in a small clinical trial. Qualitative data were obtained by interviews and visual inspection of graphical patient data during the trial. Quantitative data were based on post-trial data analysis. We used a revised version of the information systems success model to evaluate the teletreatment system, and focused on the success categories of system use and user satisfaction. The evaluation found good input data quality, system quality and information quality. Both system use and user satisfaction were good. Thus the teletreatment system appears suitable for small scale clinical deployment. However, the sensory components suffered from heavy use and embedded software problems which made them unreliable. Large scale deployment requires improvement in terms of durability and reliability of the system's sensors.

User satisfaction (US) is an important information systems success measure. This paper contributes to our understanding of US in workplace settings by conceptualizing US as resulting from user evaluations of both the attribute level performance of the system and its impacts on the motivating potential of their work. Data was collected from a sample of 154 nurses in a regional public hospital in South Africa who are users of an integrated hospital information system. The authors considered that use of the system has implications for the motivating potential of work through its impacts on skill variety, task identity, significance, autonomy, and work performance. Their results show that a system's impact on motivating potential is significant for US. Moreover, system quality, information quality, and user support attributes of the IS have significant direct effects on US as well as indirect effects through motivating potential. A high performing system is thus important for US as it provides a platform to increase the motivating potential of work.

<p>In this research, adoption of the DeLone and McLean (D&amp;M) information system (IS) success model and its adaptation with the project success theories were used to explore state of IS project success and to examine factors which affect its success. A survey towards the internal project stakeholder in an univerity with response rate 48% was carried out to collect the raw data for Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis. Majority of the participants (80.7%) stated that level of the project success is more than 50% where information quality, system quality, service quality, system use, and user satisfaction substantially explain 64.5% of variance in the success variable. The three quality factors together explain 43.2% of the variance of system use and 70.4% of the variance of user satisfaction. Although, a number of the findings were consistent with the prior studies, these findings also presented inconsistencies especially related to aspects of information quality and system use. Accordingly, researchers and practitioners will be stand to benefit from the information provided in this study and it is hoped that future research will build upon the findings reported herein as efforts are made to attain the IS project success especially in the sampled institution.</p>

Summary Objectives: The evaluation of a service-oriented prototype implementation for healthcare interoperability. Methods: A prototype framework was developed, aiming to exploit the use of service-oriented architecture (SOA) concepts for achieving healthcare interoperability and to move towards a virtual patient record (VPR) paradigm. The prototype implementation was evaluated for its hypothetical adoption. The evaluation strategy was based on the initial proposition of the DeLone and McLean model of information systems (IS) success [1], as modeled by Iivari [2]. A set of SOA and VPR characteristics were empirically encapsulated within the dimensions of IS success model, combined with measures from previous research works. The data gathered was analyzed using partial least squares (PLS). Results: The results highlighted that system quality is a partial predictor of system use but not of user satisfaction. On the contrary, information quality proved to be a significant predictor of user satisfaction and partially a strong significant predictor of system use. Moreover, system use did not prove to be a significant predictor of individual impact whereas the bi-directional relation between use and user satisfaction did not confirm. Additionally, user satisfaction was found to be a strong significant predictor of individual impact. Finally, individual impact proved to be a strong significant predictor of organizational impact. Conclusions: The empirical study attempted to obtain hypothetical, but still useful beliefs and perceptions regarding the SOA prototype implementation. The deduced observations can form the basis for further investigation regarding the adaptability of SOA implementations with VPR characteristics in the health-care domain.

The implementation of operational system is a necessity for the bank. However, the successful implementation of the system to the end-user of the systems have some little problems related to the end-user performance. The purpose of this research is to analyze and demonstrate empirically the effect of system quality, information quality, system use, and user satisfaction of the individual impact. The sample used by 75 respondents who were in the commercial bank in Jakarta. To answer the research hypothesis with IBM SPSS Statistic (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) 21.0 software, multiple regression analysis is used in this test, after testing the assumption of classical test first. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the system quality, information quality, system use, and user satisfaction have an effect to the individual impact. To get a better results, further research is recommended to add other variables to measure the effect of individual impact directly.

Learning management systems (LMSs) may provide learners with resources in various formats, such as videos, quizzes, and forum discussions to support their learning, but having access to an LMS does not necessarily mean that learning has occurred effectively. Despite its apparent usefulness, whether the use of the LMS can indeed help learners learn more effectively remains an interesting matter for course providers, LMS vendors, and learners. Therefore, this study adopted the updated DeLone and McLean information system success model to examine whether LMS system quality, information quality, and service quality affect learners’ system use and user satisfaction, and ultimately their learning effectiveness. Through a questionnaire survey, responses collected from 123 university students who studied in a blended learning environment at a university were analyzed. Findings showed that system quality and service quality, but not information quality, had a significant relationship with system use. In turn, system use had a significant relationship with learning effectiveness.
