The article estimate some aspects of the functioning of cryptocurrency, as a relatively new financial market instrument, the main participants in this market segment, cryptocurrency exchanges, taking into account key criteria: accessibility, mobility, operational efficiency. The aspects of regulation at the world and national levels are investigated. The authors give an assessment of the mechanism for regulating cryptocurrencies in separate countries ,which recognize this instrument and actively regulate it (Ar-gentina, Canada, Japan, Malazia, Switzerland),as well as countries, which reject (Vi-etnam) or just tolerate cryptocurrency, but do not have the regulatory framework for it use. Obviously, cryptocurrency is a relatively new instrument of the financial market, but its value not depend with amount of labour invested, as it is traditionally charac-teristic for conventional goods and services. The research shows that bitcoin still remains the most widespread type between other different kinds of cryptocurrencies. A significant aspect of cryptocurrencies functioning is their regulation. In our country there is no legislative certainty yet, but some steps have been made in this di-rection. In the long term, cryptocurrencies will be regulated at the international level, and the emphasis will be on preventing the use of their illegal financial transactions and for money laundering.

The Charanka Solar Park, one of the world’s largest multi-developer and multi-beneficiary solar parks, is the hub of solar power production in India. It contributes about 6 per cent to the total solar power production in the country. Although solar power is more expensive than the traditional power in the country, its sheen is still not high to make it a potential source to eliminate energy crisis not just in India but all across the world. Researchers are continuously pushing their envelope to explore as to why solar energy should be adopted over traditional energy sources irrespective of the fact that it is more expensive. The war between its financial and strategic viability is going on. Efforts are being made in the direction of reducing its costs and making it as a financially viable and strategically active option. This case is an attempt in the same direction. We are using Charanka Solar Park as a base to explore if there is any future for such projects in the country. There are projects which are no doubt operational but their long-term viability is truly questionable.

The concept of sustainability began to dominate tourism debates after the United Nations Conference on the Environment and Development, the Earth Summit in Rio de Janerio in 1992. Ecotourism is the fastest growing sector, with an estimated growth rate of 25 to 30 percent, of one of the largest industries in the world. The motto of Action Program for Sustainable Development was that “Only whatever can be sustained by nature and society in the long term permissible.” The World Conservation Union expanded this definition as follows: “Ecotourism is environmentally responsible travel and visitation to relatively undisturbed natural areas, in order to enjoy and appreciate nature that promotes conservation, has low negative visitor impact, and provides for beneficially active socio-economic involvement of local populations.” There are two major problems with respect to ecotourism: achieving ecologic integrity of the ecotourism resource and, increasing and ensuring consistency of quality of the recreation experience for the ecotourist. Economic, environmental and social impacts involved in ecotourism should be balanced within ethical principles. The first official reference to the concept of ecotourism in Turkey was made in the Eighth Five-Year Development Plan (2001-2005). The aim of this study is to explore social impacts of ecotourism in Turkey. Some projects and surveys related with ecotourism will be considered in order to get better understanding of social impacts of ecotourism on the lives of local people in Turkey.

Governance of the use of space, both at the national and the international level, is complicated. Because most countries in the world have been reticent over the last thirty years to negotiate new legally binding commitments in space, ongoing multilateral work on space governance has concentrated primarily on voluntary measures. This chapter reviews and compares the two most salient of these initiatives: the normative recommendations of the UN Group of Governmental Experts (GGE) and the Guidelines for the Long-Term Sustainability of Outer Space Activities agreed by the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space Working Group. While the GGE was “top-down” focused on transparency and confidence-building to avoid conflict among States, the LTS Working Group was a “bottom-up” approach for safe and sustainable practices with regard to the use of space. The conclusion looks at how States can best implement the recommendations.

The article is devoted to the analysis of forecasts of the world energy development made recently (from September 2020 to May 2021) by the world’s leading analytical centers, taking into account “the new reality” – the coronavirus pandemic. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the development of the world economy and energy consumption and the estimates of its consequences on long-term global economic growth made in various forecasts and prognostic studies are considered. It is shown that the priority of most of the prognostic estimates of the world consumption of primary energy resources made by the world’s leading analytical centers in recent years is a sharp reduction in CO2 emissions by energy and stabilization of global anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions in order to prevent negative climate changes on our planet. A conditional classification of scenarios for the prospective development of global energy is given, depending on the ideology that is embedded in them, an analysis of the fulfilled forecasts is given. It is concluded that Russian research structures need to develop their own similar forecasts.

An efficiently operating financial system is considered as an integral part of a well-functioning economy. It is the mechanism by which services are provided that allow the flow of purchasing power. Thus, this system creates the foundations of activity for entities using money, enabling the conclusion of economic transactions in which money performs various functions. The result of the existence of this system is the possibility of co-creation of money by non-financial economic entities (enterprises and households) and the flow of cash between them. In the light of many transformations taking place in the financial system, it is extremely important to ensure its stability. A properly functioning financial system significantly supports the achievement of the main goals of the central bank – maintaining a stable level of prices, and thus creating the basis for achieving long-term economic growth. Educational activities are of great importance in ensuring the stability of the financial system. The aim of the article is to present the role of economic education among young people, thanks to which they can better understand the complexities of the functioning of the financial system, the importance of its stability and prepare to make more conscious decisions as fully-fledged participants of the financial market. Understanding the specificity of the available financial instruments enables the minimalization of the risk associated with their selection / purchase. The accuracy of decisions made in adulthood depends on the knowledge of basic economic issues and the awareness of potential threats.

The authors point out that the local market crisis - on the USA substandard loan market - has led to the uncertainty of the world financial market. It has caused the growing demand for liquidity in the framework of the world financial system. The Russian banking sector seems to be more stable under negative changes than banking systems of other emerging markets. At the same time one can assume that the crisis will become the factor of qualitative shift in the character of the Russian banking sector development - the shift from impetuous to more balanced growth.
