The recent research was conducted to examine the economic effect (in term of net income) of long term credit from District Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank” (DCARDB), at Hoshangabad from 2005-06 to 2009-10 Two hundred forty respondents were selected in which each thirty were the beneficiaries of new well, electric & diesel pump, tube well, submersible pump, sprinkler, thresher, pipe line and tractor (these eight purposes were selected purposively and period of loan was different for every purpose and for every borrowers), all these beneficiaries were selected from circle of 20 kilometres radius from each branch (Itarsi, Bankhedi, Piparia, Sohagpur, Babai, Banapura) of DCARDB (Hoshangabad). Paired t-test was used to compare the net income of the beneficiaries before and after utilization of long term credit. Study reveals that the “t” value for purchasing of electric & diesel pump and digging of tube well was 2.648 and 2.835, which were Significant, respectively. For the purpose of submersible pump the t-calculated value was 0.857, which was not significant and it also implies that there is no significant difference between net income before and after taking loan of cooperative farmers. It is also reveals that for the purpose of sprinkler and pipe line, the t- calculated value were 3.091 and 3.500 the differences were Significant, respectively. Paired t test showed that the t calculated value for thresher was 1.683, was nonsignificant and t calculated for tractor purchasing was 2.220 which was significant.

Tani Maju farmer group is one of the farming groups located in Rorotan Village, Cilincing District, North Jakarta City Administration. This group has a lot of sheep and advanced management. Despite they manage their sheep well, they are not well informed on how to manage the sewage from their castles (faces and urine). So far, they just throw away the sewage or gave them to fellow farmers. This study aimed to analyze the level of farmers' knowledge in making use of sheep's urine to be degraded into bio urine in the Maju Farmer group. Data was collected through the pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed using paired t-test and Wilcoxon statistical software (IBM SPSS Statistics 25). The results of the study showed that farmers' knowledge in sewage (Urine) management increased; there is a significant difference in farmers' level of knowledge in bio urine production before and after bio urine extension.

At Alamán’s initiative a law of 1830 established the Banco de Avío, a government-funded development bank for the spurring of industrialization, especially in the textile sector, with which his name has forever been associated. His views of industrialization as a development strategy as opposed to a renewed reliance upon silver mining are discussed, as well as the short- and long-term effects of loans made to textile entrepreneurs and the cronyism employed by Alamán both in organizing the Banco itself and in allotting its capital as loans to industrialists. The state of the textile industry in Mexico before and after the Banco is described.

The effect of peritubular and luminal pH changes on hydraulic conductance, (Lp, 10(-7) cm X s-1 X atm-1) in the isolated perfused rabbit cortical collecting tubule (CCT) was tested at 37 degrees C before and after administration of 20 microU/ml vasopressin or 10(-4) M 8-[p-chlorophenylthio]-adenosine cyclic monophosphate (8-CPT-cAMP). In vasopressin experiments when bath pH was changed from 7.58 to 7.16 or from 7.58 to 6.70, mean Lp decreased from 249 +/- 32 to 199 +/- 23 (n = 5; P less than 0.01) and from 231 +/- 38 to 201 +/- 36 (n = 5; NS), respectively. In contrast, in 8-CPT-cAMP experiments when bath [HCO3] was kept constant while CO2 was elevated the hydroosmotic response was increased. Using 2.5 mM HCO3, Lp at 0.4% CO2 was 275 +/- 15 and at 6% CO2 it was 352 +/- 50 (n = 4; paired t test; P less than 0.05). At 8.5 and 21.5 mM HCO3 raising CO2 from 2 to 13% and from 4 to 32% increased Lp from 237 +/- 71 to 410 +/- 32 (n = 4; paired t test; P less than 0.05) and from 282 +/- 45 to 449 +/- 63 (n = 6; paired t test; P less than 0.001), respectively. Reducing luminal pH from 7.40 to 5.40 had no effect on either vasopressin- or cAMP-induced changes in Lp. Accordingly, lowering the bath pH by increasing the PCO2 at constant [HCO3] markedly stimulates the response to 8-CPT-cAMP, whereas lowering the bath pH by reducing [HCO3] inhibits the vasopressin response.

Financial performance is a reflection of the financial condition of a company. The purpose of this study is to determine the significance of differences in corporate financial performance before and after the acquisition of mining acquisition companies in the BEI period 2011-2013 by analyzing financial performance one year before and one year after acquisition. The method of determining the sample is the census that the entire population is used as a sample which is obtained by 5 acquirer companies. The analysis technique used is paired t-test (Pair-Sample T-test). Based on the results of the analysis found that financial performance measured by five financial ratios of CR, ROA, DER, TATO, PER that did not differ significantly after acquisition compared to before acquisition. The acquisition strategy has not been fully achieved due to the condition of financial performance after the acquisition has not increased. The motive of the acquisition is not economic but non-economic. The acquirer company which to achieve success, must make preparations by looking at the conditions of the company to be taken over.

BackgroundBarrett's oesophagus is a common premalignant lesion caused partly by acid reflux. Although the requisite therapy, proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), have been implicated in the progression of Barrett's oesophagus in animal models, harmful effects of prolonged PPI therapy in Barrett's oesophagus is both inconclusive and controversial. We therefore aimed to test the role of PPI-induced hypergastrinaemia in vitro and see whether any biological parameters were useful surrogates of long-term therapy in man.MethodsWe undertook detailed serological and tissue assessment of gastrin and CCK2 receptors in 90 patients randomised to different doses of PPI therapy during a detailed 2-year follow-up. We also undertook a comprehensive study of cell models to study the consequential biological effects of gastrin on the mucosa.ResultsGastrin and its cognate receptor CCK2R were expressed highest in the stomach, then less in Barrett's oesophagus and least in squamous oesophagus (SqE) (n=20 paired t-test, p<0.01). Analysis of the change in Barrett's oesophagus segment length change in 70 patients who were randomised to high or low PPI dose showed no difference over 2 years (n=70 t-test, p=0.8). Prolonged PPI use did, however, increase the serum gastrin, (36 pg/ml±57 pg/ml to 103 pg/ml±94 pg/ml (paired t test, p<0.05)). In vitro gastrin also induced changes in OE33(E)cckr Barrett's oesophagus cells, but not OE21(E)cckr squamous cells, transfected with CCK2R; migration was induced by 1 ng/ml of gastrin but proliferation only increased with 100 ng/ml (paired t-test, p<0.01) and both were abolished by antagonists.ConclusionWhile the short-term effects of gastrin enhance epithelial restitution in Barrett's oesophagus (but not squamous mucosa) there is no clinical evidence that Barrett's oesophagus length expands over time. This study, which is the largest and longest term randomised controlled trial of gastrin biology in Barrett's oesophagus, is further proof of the clinical safety of PPI therapy.
