The article analyses the issue of the concept of social epistemology regarding knowledge transmission from the point of view of social psychology. Knowledge transmission is related to the epistemic aspect of authority, which is demonstrated by the structural element of authority – source of knowledge or the assumed truth. In higher education, the distinction of epistemology is related to epistemological views, their multiple dimensions which show the extent and type how students perceive professors as epistemic authorities – sources of knowledge who are trusted and relied on.

The epistemological aspect of knowledge is described as a subject of psychology and pedagogy studies, students’ views about learning or acquisition of knowledge and learning skills, role of experience in which knowledge is construed. Epistemic authority is related to the social context, interaction within this context in which transmission and exchange of knowledge take place and which is studied in the concept of social epistemology. Studies into epistemological views of students reveal the specifics of academic areas: students may have views about knowledge in general, this influences their behaviour, but they may differ in academic areas. Epistemic authority was explained as an essential factor in the process of acquisition of knowledge in schools and universities. An empirical study consisting of two stages was conducted to investigate student-perceived epistemic authority of university professors. Research target is to find out the level of assessment of perceived epistemic authority of university professors in the student and graduate samples and in study area groups. Author use epistemic authority research methodology, which include survey - Epistemic Authority Scale. A comparison of the results on the level of the sample shows that the results of study one and two are similar to the results obtained in the original study, and this, in general, suggests similar tendencies in assessment of professors’ epistemic authority regardless of cultural environment and the time distance when the measurements were made.

The article discusses the potential opportunities for leaders of higher education to monitor and implement development management functions using a system of key performance indicators, which is often used by various business entities. The authors adapted it to the needs of higher education institutions, integrating them with their characteristics. The formation of a system of key performance indicators in the article is disclosed from the point of view of improving the management system and motivation of the management and teaching staff of higher education. Approbation of the proposed methodology was implemented in the Institution of Higher Education, where it showed its effectiveness. The new system allowed the university professors to influence directly on the bonus part of income through their own work and efficiency.

In order to use urban space effectively in Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), over-track buildings (built over railways), are becoming increasingly popular in Japan. From a construction and structural design point of view, the basement structure just beneath railways generally cannot be built while railway operations continue (interruption to operations is not permitted, In general).

This paper presents the structural design of a mid-story isolated high-rise building constructed over railways in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. The paper shows, not only the philosophy of the system, but also the structural design, full-scale experiments, and evaluation of the performance in each structural element. The authors believe that such a structural design will be one of the effective solutions to the over-track building.

Additive manufacturing technologies make it possible to manufacture any product in layers based on a 3D computer model, but this issue is understudied. Therefore, this paper considers the problem of describing the effects of buckling arising in the three-dimensional printing of products containing elements whose length significantly exceeds their thickness or the characteristic size of the cross section. The behavior of these elements, from the point of view of material mechanics, can be described using models of plates or beams. In this study, we compare the results of calculations obtained using the model of non-stationary thermal conductivity and thermos-elasticity with experimental data for a specific element of printed product in which stability loss occurs. It was concluded that, at the initial moments of time, the lowest critical impact coefficient is realized, which in turn makes it the most dangerous phenomenon. The possibility of changing print parameters and product geometry to exclude the mentioned effects has been investigated. The considered structural element may lose stability during the building process. The results of solving the spectral problem indicated that over time the value of the critical effect decreases and asymptotically tends to a fixed minimum value.

The article is devoted to questions of theoretical and methodological provision of state regulation ofeconomic systems, in particular the construction industry. The article presents the theoretical definition ofthe category of state regulation mechanism as the main structural element of this system. The analysis ofmechanisms of state regulation is carried out, the results of which are proposed classification of mechanismsof state regulation by the nature of their influence on the object of public administration. The analysis oftheoretical approaches to the definition of the concept of the state regulation mechanism gave the opportunityto develop a system of grouping these approaches, to identify their advantages and disadvantages and toformulate the author's definition of the concept of state regulation of the construction industry based on theachievements of the representatives of the system approach. The classification of mechanisms of state regulation has been carried out, which showed that themain means of influence on the object of state management can be accumulated in the following blocks:regulatory, organizational, economic, informational and tax. These are the components of the state'sregulatory policy aimed at streamlining economic activity, in particular in the field of construction. In theanalysis of theoretical and methodological approaches to the definition of the category of state regulation, three groups of these approaches are distinguished: structural, defining the components of state regulation, functional, describing the category from the point of view of those functions that it has to execute, and thesystem that reflects the complexity of the concept state regulation.

The paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the design solution of the building of a preschool educational establishment in the city of Guastalla (Italy) with the aim of the possibility of adapting such a project to the conditions of Russian cities. A set of basic requirements for preschool buildings according to Russian building codes and rules is presented. They are grouped into four main groups: compliance with sanitary- hygienic and psychological requirements, safety, durability, cost-effectiveness, good appearance. A detailed analysis of the structural design of buildings based on a glued laminated frame with curved sections is presented from an environmental point of view. The conclusion is made about the inadmissibility of the use of glued laminated frames as a structural element of the preschool buildings. It is emphasized that the preschool building must in a special way satisfy the physiological needs of a small person. If this requirement is not met, no other advantages of the building will make it suitable for a comfortable and safe stay of children. The paper also presents a comparison of the development trends in the architecture of modern preschool buildings in the Russian and foreign practice of design and construction.

Most Ofall Religions Andislam Without Exception, Are Has Theirs Own View OnPersonality, Either Directly Or Indirectly. This Study Aims To Explain The Religious ValuesAnd Personality According To Islamic Point Of View and education technology approach. ToAchieve This Goal The Author Take Referrence On Two Main Sources Of Knowledge InIslamic Philosophy, Namely: First, Divine Knowledge (Revelation) The Essence Of TruthWhich Is Believed To Right All The Times By The Adherents Of Islam. The Second Is TheParaneal Knowledge (Science) Which Is The Observations Rezult Of Scientists AndPhilosopy About God, Humans, And The Universe. Implementing for concept and prinsip ofvalues them need to be concreted in order the values of then can be measured byeducational tecnology approach. The Approach Used In This Study Is The QualitativeMethod With A Library Research Of Islamic Treasures Related To This Title. Religion AndPersonality Are Like Two Sides Of A Metal Currency Surface Where One And The OtherCannot Be Separated, The Islamic Teachings In Human Behviours Are Believed To Be TheMost Important Components In Personality In Order To Accordance With Their OriginalNature.

The aim of this article is to highlight a conceptual framework of a well-balanced personality in the light of an Islamic point of view. The article begins with an explanation on the nature of human beings as the underlying concept on which the entire assumption of human personality is based. Further discussion will focus on the types of personality ‒ that is, nafs al-ammārah, nafs al-muţmainnah, and nafs al-lawwāmah. In this regard, the spiritual development process is about thecontinuous effort of the animal soul to subordinate itself to the power of the rational soul.1 Meanwhile, the educational process ‒ in particular, its methods and the curriculum content ‒ is discussed as an element of intervention in developing good personality traits. The exposition of this article’s writing is derived from scholarly and original sources of knowledge ‒ that is, the Holy Qur’ān and the tradition of the Prophet (ṢAAS), as well as the writings of Muslim scholars to verify and elucidate some of the relevant matters.

This volume explores many issues at the intersection of the epistemology of disagreement and religious epistemology. Epistemological questions about the significance of disagreement have advanced in concert with broader developments in social epistemology concerning testimony, the nature of expertise and epistemic authority, the role of institutions, group belief, and epistemic injustice, among others. During this period, related issues in the epistemology of religion have re-emerged as worthy of new consideration, and available to be situated with new conceptual tools. Does disagreement between, and within, religions, challenge the rationality of religious commitment? How should religious adherents think about exclusivist, inclusivist, and pluralist frameworks as applied to religious truth, or to matters of salvation or redemption? This volume engages in careful reflection on religious diversity and disagreement, offering ways to balance epistemic humility with personal conviction. Recognizing the place of religious differences in our social lives, it provides renewed efforts at how best to think about truths concerning religion.

Informational society, mainly after the development of online and mobile devices, is changing the forms with which we build our image of the reality. Speed, virtuality, and networking are three of the factors of this change. Speed means that information is circulating faster and faster, but also that it becomes aged very soon, with the necessity of being updated. Virtuality, after its first conceptualizations like a parallel dimension in the 1990s, is nowadays an integral part of our system of relations. Networking, finally, is becoming the main category for interpreting our culture, made of multiple dimensions of sociability, inside and outside the net. Knowledge, in this context, is not yet a truth authenticated; it is, on the contrary, a social activity, a process quite similar to a conversation where each of the discussants is negotiating a point of view. This is the scenario into which modern teachers, parents, and youngsters are acting.
