Background. Sleep is an essential needs for every children. Sleep may cause a large effect on mental health, emotional, physical and immune system. If sleeping time is not sufficient, then sleep disturbance may occur. Objective assessment of the sleeping quality can be done by using Polysomnography and Actigraphy, while for assessing the subjectivity of sleeping quality and quantity can be used questionnaires or interviews. Sleep Disturbance Scale for Children or SDSC is a multidimensional sleeping assessment questionnaire.Objective. To determine the quality of sleeping in adolescents using SDSC.Methods. We conducted a diagnostic test study using cross sectional method, during March to April 2015 at the elementary schools in manado. The inclusion criteria were healthy adolescent aged 10 to 12 years, the parents were willing to sign the informed consent and answer the questionnaire, agreed to attach the wristactigraph. All datas were analyzed using chi square test and table 2 x 2 to showed sensitivity, specificity, positive predicitive value and negative predictive value.Results. Of 60 adolescents, 31 were female and 29 were male with the mean age 11.39 years. The results showed the sensitivity of SDSC was 80.6%, the specificity was 37.9%, the positive predictive value was 58.1% and negative predictive value was 64.7%.Conclusions. Sleep Disturbance Scale for Children is a good screening tool for early detection of sleep disorders in a adolescent.

Objective: To investigate the implication of quality of obturation and coronal restoration on periapical tissue in failed endodontically treated teeth. Study Design and Setting: This cross-sectional research was performed in the Operative Department of BUMDC on 187 patients reporting with root canal failure from March 2019 to August 2019. Methodology: Patients of both genders aged between 20-60 years were considered for this study. Single and multirooted teeth indicated for repeated endodontic treatment due to under filled, overfilled obturation, voids in obturation, absence and presence of coronal restoration were included. One operator carried out clinical examination of the teeth and periapical radiograph was taken for each patient by using E-Speed film and evaluated by the same operator using an illuminated viewer box. SPSS 17 for windows software was used for data entering and chi- square test was applied for statistical calculation of the outcomes. Results: Total n=187 endodontic treated failed teeth were evaluated, out of which 52.9% were of females and 47.1% to males. The number of obturations with acceptable length were 81(43.3%), with adequate density were 107 (57.2%) and with consistent taper were 116(62%). Periapical lesion was observed in 118(63.1%) cases. Quality of obturation significantly affects the periapical health. Cross tabulation showed a significant association (p-value <0.000) between inadequate coronal restoration and changes in periapical area. Conclusion: The successful prognosis of the root canal treatment relies on the good quality of obturation and adequate coronal filling.

Background and purpose: Patient satisfaction, including on radiography services, is an important component of health care provision. Surveys on patient satisfaction have been carried out particularly in government hospitals, but a more detailed study to determine the relationship between patient satisfaction with the responsiveness of service providers has yet to be carried out. This study aims to determine the relationship between the six domains of responsiveness of service providers and outpatient satisfaction at three conventional radiography facilities in Denpasar. Methods: Study was conducted by cross-sectional survey of 158 respondents selected consecutively in three conventional radiography services, namely a government hospital, a private hospital and a private radiology clinic. Data were collected through interviews using modified questionnaires on responsiveness from WHO. Data were analyzed by univariate, bivariate (chi-square test) and multivariate logistic regression method. Results: Univariate analysis indicated that patient satisfaction was 69% but still below the minimum service standards (>80,0%). Multivariate analysis showed that factors associated with satisfaction were the domain of attention (AOR= 3.77; 95%CI: 1.62-8.76), the quality of infrastructure (AOR=4.57; 95%CI: 1.61-12.93) and communication (AOR=6.30; 95%CI: 1.75-22.64).Conclusion: Patient satisfaction was generally still below the standard. Domains of responsiveness associated with patient satisfaction were the quality of infrastructure, level of attention and communication skills of service providers.
