This study aims to determine the roles and ways undertaken by schools in inculcating the character of entrepreneurial-based tauhid in order to be able to help learners gain knowledge about entrepreneurship from early childhood as well as help to build quality of Islamic School with high trust and quality. This research is a qualitative research conducted at Entrepreneur Elementary School Muslim ALIF-A Piyungan Bantul Yogyakarta. The data is collected using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are: firstly, the role of schools in the formation of students’ entrepreneurial skills  is demonstrated by activities in schools to acquire knowledge and skills by assisting learners in shaping character and personality, and be able to interact with their environments through integrated thematic learning. Learners have to be active, and are encouraged to recognize and accept the values of entrepreneurship in developing the ability of learners to perform daily activities. Secondly, in the formation of entrepreneurial character, the school has six basic principles, they are: educative, effective, strategic, empirical, leadership, and productive through three learning zones, namely spiritual zone, learning zone, and entrepreneur zone based on the character of each program. Thirdly, the results of the system can be seen from the students’ attitude of independent, tawakkal, creative, innovative, confident, discipline, have a sense of responsibility and tolerate others.

To commemorate the 21st century, a new learning model was designed in 2013 curriculum, in which there is a shift from teachers give knowledge to students become student must actively seek out knowledge from a variety of learning resources. In this case, the teacher acts as facilitators. Thus, language is a very central role, because the language should be in front of all other subjects. Curriculum 2013 imposed a thematic integrated learning which is no longer based subjects. Various subjects for primary schools (such as: Religion, Civics, Indonesian, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and so on) are integrated intoone book. The subject matter is not presented in textbook, but it presented in book thematics lesson, the themes are about nature, social life and culture. In this new curriculum, learning process is implemented by applying a scientific approach (observing, questioning, experimenting, associating, and networking) that includes three aspects such as attitudes, knowledge, and skills. So, how is the role of Indonesian in an integrated thematic learning by applying scientific approaches in primary schools in 2013 curriculum? By appying the method, the object of this paper is to gain preview about the role of Indonesian in 2013 curriculum that uses integrated thematic learning by scientific approach in primary schools.AbstrakUntuk menyongsong abad ke-21, model pembelajaran baru dirancang dalam Kurikulum 2013, yang di dalamnya terdapat pergeseran dari siswa diberi tahu menjadi siswa harus aktif mencari tahu ilmu pengetahuan dari berbagai sumber belajar. Dalam hal ini, guru berperan sebagai fasilitator. Dengan demikian, peran bahasa menjadi sangat sentral, karena bahasa harus berada di depan semua mata pelajaran lain. Kurikulum 2013 memberlakukan pembelajaran tematik terpadu yang tidak lagi berbasis mata pelajaran. Berbagai mata pelajaran untuk sekolah dasar (seperti: Agama, PPKN, Bahasa Indonesia, Matematika, IPA, IPS, dan sebagainya) diintegrasi menjadi satu buku. Materi pelajaran tidak disajikan dalam buku mata pelajaran, tetapi dalam buku tema pelajaran, baik tema alam, sosial, maupun budaya. Proses pembelajaran dalam kurikulum baru ini diimplementasikan melalui pendekatan saintifik (mengamati, menanya, menalar, mencoba, dan mengomunikasikan) yang mencakup tiga aspek, yaitu sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Lalu, bagaimana peran bahasa Indonesia dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu melalui pendekatan saintifik di sekolah dasar pada Kurikulum 2013 ini? Melaluimetode deskriptif, yang menjadi tujuan penulisan ini adalah mendapatkan gambaran mengenai peran bahasa Indonesia dalam Kurikulum 2013 yang menggunakan pembelajaran tematik terpadu melalui pendekatan saintifik di sekolah dasar.

One of the solutions proposed by Badan Amil Zakat Nasional is to form Lembaga Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Mustahik which has the task of improving the quality of life of mustahik through its programs. So, the purpose of this study is to find out how the role of Lembaga Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Mustahik Badan Amil Zakat Nasional in improving the economic welfare of mustahik. This study uses qualitative research methods that produce descriptive data. Where this research is based on observations made by the author and then explained according to what the author observed in the field. The data collection that the researchers did was using the method of observation, documentary interviews, and other data. When the data has been collected, the researcher conducts an analysis and then draws conclusions from the analysis. The results of this study are Lembaga Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Mustahik BAZNAS plays a role in the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and focuses on potential creative businesses, empowers by providing business development capital assistance, in accordance with the budget draft proposed by mustahik, and approved by LPEM BAZNAS. The rapid technology development and information made public (community) being so critical to the policies was taken by the government. This requires police institution to maintain of security guards, public order, enforce the law, provides protection, aegis and service to the community. Public Relations (PR) is an agency which have a duty to understand and evaluate a variety of public opinion in order to help to create harmony between particular agencies with the public. In order to increase quality of human resources in Police Department are required personnel with the ability in resolving problems the happens in society. In resolving these problems, that needed cooperation between police department, college and the community. The contribution of college to police department and the community with conducting the devotion to the community in cooperation Polresta Tangerang. The method in use in devotion community is by providing training of the role of public relations to Polresta Tangerang members through zoom cloud meeting. The role of public relations training aimed at giving public knowledge include similarity in communication, public relations function, basic principles of public relations, the management of the community and management of media relations may be good quality police. The evaluation of the training be concluded that the training that performed capable of increase understanding participants on the role of public relations.

INDEPENDENCE OF CHILDREN AGED 5-6 YEARS AT INSTITUTION OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION IN THE DAYAK KANAYANT CULTURE. This study aims to get an overview of empirical data information on the Independence of Children 5-6 Years in Early Childhood Education Institutions in the Dayak Kanayant Culture in Nanga Kelampai Village, Tumbang Titi District, Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. This research is a qualitative research with ethnographic research. Data analysis is Spradley. The data of this study were obtained from observations, interviews and documentation. The findings of the study indicate that the independence of children aged 5-6 years in early childhood education institutions in Kanayant Dayak tribal culture is shaped by the roles and attitudes of parents and teachers and the role of the environment. The conclusion of the research shows that independent children are not formed by themselves. Parents need to equip children from an early age to be able to do their own activities without having to rely on parents.

<p>The focus of this research is teacher professionalism in New Zealand and the possible role of the ‘Standards for the Teaching Profession’ that were released in 2017, in strengthening the quality of teaching. Evidence suggests that the quality of teachers’ work is an important factor in students’ success. So, a challenge for education policy-makers is to create a system that encourages and enables teachers to be high quality and motivated to keep improving. The literature suggests a strategy to enable this is to encourage a mature profession, where teachers take collective responsibility for improvement. Standards for teachers can be a positive influence on improving teacher practice when their use is balanced between regulatory and development functions, so that they are a catalyst for professional development. This research involved 45 teachers in English Medium settings participating in sector specific focus groups for early childhood, primary school and secondary school teachers, a review of policy documents and secondary data from Education Council workshops. The analysis suggests that aspects of organisational professionalism influence the environment, although most teachers did not consciously align themselves to this discourse. There appeared to be some differences between sectors, with those in early childhood aligning more closely to their organisation than other teachers and feeling like they were not accepted as a legitimate part of the teaching profession. Although teachers were generally positive about the new standards, few teachers considered using them for reflection or professional conversations outside of formal appraisal. The aspiration presented in literature of a mature profession that works collaboratively with a mix of stakeholders to combine expertise, ask tough questions to create solutions and grows professional knowledge was not apparent, however teachers identified opportunities to shift the profession towards this discourse.</p>

O presente artigo tem como principal objetivo averiguar como as empresas de Ecoturismo e Turismo de Aventura percebem a atuação do poder público e do privado em ações direcionadas para a acessibilidade. Considerando que o objeto de estudo é a acessibilidade, no decorrer da pesquisa buscou-se compreender como questões relacionadas a esse tema são percebidas pelos empreendedores; se o mercado está se adequando para receber esse perfil de público com deficiência ou mobilidade reduzida; e se há demonstração de interesse em tornar atividades acessíveis para essa demanda crescente. Os principais resultados do estudo demonstram que a maioria das empresas não estão preparadas para atender esse público, porém apontam direções que visam a melhoria no atendimento do público em questão e a qualidade da oferta de Ecoturismo e Turismo de Aventura no quesito acessibilidade. Accessibility in Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism: the role of the government and private companies The main objective of this article is to ascertain how Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism companies perceive the role of the government and private companies in activities related to accessibility. Whereas the focus of this study is accessibility, during the research phase it was sought to understand how issues related to this topic are perceived by entrepreneurs, if the market is adapting to be able to accommodate persons with disabilities or reduced mobility, and any interest has been demonstrated in making activities accessible in light of this growing demand. The main results of the study show that most companies are not prepared to accommodate this segment of the population; however, suggestions are made for improving their ability to meet the needs of this public, as well as the quality of Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism services in terms of accessibility. The tourism industry requires that increasing attention be paid not only to the quality of products and services but also to the quality of the human resources that constitute one of its major assets, since tourism is essentially a people-centered service industry. As such, a high-quality skilled workforce will ensure greater competitiveness and innovation, improved job prospects, repeat tourist visits, and economic growth in South Africa. This study aims to establish how tourism graduates perceived their abilities in terms of knowledge and skills and how the tourism industry evaluated tourism graduates' actual abilities in terms of knowledge and skills within the tourism industry. The researchers adopted a sequential, explanatory mixed-method that entails combining quantitative and qualitative methods. The researchers conducted a quantitative survey of a purposive sample of 561 managers, supervisors, and owners of tourism industry establishments, as well as tourism graduates exposed to the industry and those working in the tourism industry. Semistructured interviews were also conducted with 12 participants who were purposively selected. This study found that the tourism industry experiences graduates as being comfortable with technology, having a professional appearance, as well as outgoing—their three top actual abilities. However, graduates were perceived to lack entrepreneurial skills. In addition, work experience, negotiation skills, and career planning were among the lowest ranked actual abilities of tourism graduates. Actual knowledge and skills gaps indicate a lack of the educational expertise required, as it underpins the curriculum in a tourism qualification and adds extensive value to the tourism industry when recruiting, training, and developing staff.

To provide a good level of the quality of life of the city inhabitants, it is indispensable to follow sustainable development strategy, allowing to create social capital. This is important especially for local authorities, which should govern society by cooperating with them. Therefore, the main purpose of the article is to present implementation process and its conditions of the sustainable development strategy within the structures of local government units in Poland. Analysis is based on the authoress’ own qualitative research conducted in four voivodships in the Southern of Poland.

Every person – regardless of place of residence, age, sex, or social status – needs an authority figure, someone they can trust, someone who serves as their source of inspiration and a beacon of hope. However, numerous contemporary researches point out to the existence of a crisis in terms of personal examples, the decline in the quality of education both at home and at school, and the worrisome rise in consumerist and egotistical attitudes which results in pathologies of various shape and form and consequently leads to the general deg¬radation of society. The social life transformations necessitate the introduction of changes to education and the image and authority of a teacher. The purpose of this article is to highlight the role of authority in education, show teacher as a figure of authority as perceived by pupils and their parents, and their expectations and preferences as well as to attempt to define the future of authority in the changing world.

This article is a reflection on the role of inclusive education in counteracting social inequalities and the presentation of a section of qualitative research conducted among homeless people who participated in active inclusion projects. The concept of inclusive lifelong learning indicates the need to create optimal conditions for lifelong education for every person. It is a key condition for improving individual quality of life and a tool for making individual success. The article refers to a fragment of narrative biographical research conducted among the homeless. Qualitative research is about subjective reality, revealing the unique aspects of active inclusion.
