The paper deals with the issue of awareness of digital threats among children and teenagers. The empirical study analyzes the opinions of parents of preschool and school children using an online questionnaire. The results show that in the opinion of parents, the awareness of various risks in children remains average, and it fluctuates between 30-40% in relation to most of the analyzed issues. A number of favorable and unfavorable changes in the behavior of the respondents’ children as a result of using the Internet and video games are also shown. The analysis of the correlation coefficients shows that the parents’ gender is only significant in the case of two issues (parental support and ridiculing content), and that there is no dependence on education in the studied group. The greatest number of correlations in various studied issues was observed for the age of the child. In addition, the results shed new light on the subject matter, showing the evolution of parents’ attitudes towards more conscious parental control over the use of the Internet and video games.

The subject of research is the concept of active learning by students. The aim is to demonstrate its value and the possibility of using it in a pandemic of COVID 19 to a digital learning environment, in online teaching. The values inherent in this concept, in the construction of own knowledge by students, were analyzed. This is confirmed by the results of empirical research as well as in the practice of education. The use of this concept by teachers in a digital learning environment requires increased effort, but its effects increase the quality of the desired learning outcomes by students. Therefore, in the conditions of a pandemic of COVID 19, these actions are not only need but necessary.

In the article, I undertake an analysis of the education process carried out at the level of early school education, taking into account the assessment criteria of acts of communication in the form of interrogative statements. In my considerations, I refer to the results of research conducted over a period of over twenty years, limiting myself to one, but at the same time the basic aspect of the given problem – the frequency of questions formulated by teachers and students of grades 1–3. Furthermore, I am trying to answer the question whether the curriculum reforms of the Polish education system, carried out since 1999, had or still have an impact on the implementation of the educational process in everyday school practice.

In the context of a child’s intellectual, emotional and social development, writing skills (along with speaking) form the absolute basis. They allow the child to better interpret, but also to formulate concepts, feelings and thoughts, and thus to acquire key competences quicker. The more worrying are then reports showing low quality of writing of students at the initial stage of education. It is necessary to take actions aimed at developing motor skills using both conventional and unconventional methods. One of such options in integrated education are the art techniques. This study examines how the use of these techniques translates into better writing skills in early education.
