Aim. The paper aims to develop and put into practice a set of special exercises that influence post-load recovery for increasing the efficiency of physical activities of young people in the Kola polar region. Materials and methods. 250 males aged from 16 to 17 years participated in the study. The research data consisted of the results of standard Ready for labor and defense (GTO) exercises. After lessons, all participants performed a set of activities that influenced body and psychophysical recovery. Results. A dynamic study shows that a set of recovery activities of a different profile that includes exercises aimed at muscle tone regulation, relaxation through obstacle overcoming (including those related to the Kola polar region), modeling difficulties, mood improvement, and motivation for success affects positively speed, strength, endurance, static and dynamic balance indicators if applied 3–4 hours after physical activity. The results of standard Ready for labor and defense (GTO) exercises improved significantly. Conclusion. A proposed set of recovery activities enhances the athletic achievements of young people in the Kola polar region.

Background:There are concerns about the future health of young people due to inactive lifestyles. However, evidence about their physical activity levels is not extensive, especially with regard to affluent young people. This study aimed to investigate whether young people from affluent backgrounds met public health recommendations for physical activity. Methods:Diary accounts of lifestyle activity were collected from 219 students ages 9 to 15 y attending a fee-paying school in England. Results:Pupils spent an average of 121 min per day participating in physical activities of at least moderate intensity, considerably more than public health recommendations of 60 min per day. However, almost a quarter of these young people engaged in less than 60 min of physical activity per day of at least moderate intensity. Conclusions:The picture to emerge was one of a balance between sedentary pursuits like television and homework and physical activities such as sport and active play.

Abstract Background The lockdown and social distancing caused by COVID-19 may influence common healthy behaviour. Due to the unprecedent worldwide confinement in which Spain has been one of the most affected with severe rules governing confinement, physical activity and sedentarism may change due to prolonged stays at home. The aim of this study is to evaluate how physical activity and sedentary time have changed during confinement in the Spanish population. Methods 3800 healthy adults (age ≥ 18 - ≤64 years) residing in Spain were asked during confinement. Sociodemographic data and self-reported physical activity data were collected twice by an International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short (IPAQ-S) between 23rd March and 1st April, and the analysis was carried out considering the achievement of general physical activity recommendations, different age ranges and baseline physical activity levels. Results Physical activity decreased significantly during confinement in all population. Vigorous activities and walking time decreased by 16.8% (p-value > 0.001) and 58.2% (p-value > 0.001) respectively, whereas sedentary time increased by 23.8% (p-value > 0.001). The fulfilment of 75 min/week of vigorous activity recommendation decreased by 10.7% (p-value < 0.001) while the amount of people who reached to 150 min/week of moderate activity barely changed (1.4%, (p-value 0.117)). The group that performed more vigorous physical activities before confinement showed the greatest decrease (30.5%, p-value > 0.001). Men reduced more the time in vigorous activity than women (21% vs 9%, respectively) who even increased time in moderate physical activity by 11% (p-value < 0.05) and showed less increase in sitting time than men (35% vs 25.3%, respectively). Young people and students showed the highest decrease in all physical activities. Conclusions The Spanish adult population, especially young people, students and very active men, decreased daily physical activity and increased sedentary time during COVID-19 confinement.

Physical fitness has significant role in the improvement of individual abilities and health level of young people. Physical activity of young people has decreased during last decades. It is ascertained that students spend more time looking TV but less time going into sports. Sedimentary lifestyle leads to the increase of fat tissue, disturbances of metabolism and sclerotic changes into blood vessels. In order to promote more active lifestyle of young people it is necessary to rise their interest about sports and other physical activities. The questionnaire of 13 – 15 years old adolescents was carried out. Physical condition level of adolescents was estimated by Harvard Steptest Index (HSTI). The attitude toward sports and sport lessons, physical activities and sport activities during free time of adolescents was ascertained. Correlation between interest of sports and physical condition level of adolescents was estimated. Results of investigation showed that boys are more interested in sports than girls. Direct connection between positive attitude to sports and high level of physical condition was stated.

The importance of physical training for a student`s health is underlined in the article. In addition, dependence between a level of physical training development and person`s health is defined. Physical training is not only a certain level of physical activity. Psycho-educational conditions of student`s physical training level as a source of its health are highlighted in the article too. Reforming higher education in Ukraine requires finding new ways to solve the problem of personality formation, development of its physical, mental and spiritual strength. The priority task of the education system is to educate people in the spirit of responsible attitude to their own health and the health of others as the highest social value, the formation of a high level of health of student youth. One of the main tasks of the modern education system is to form a high level of physical culture in students. According to the latest scientific data, up to 90% of students have serious health problems, 50% or more are on the dispensary register, every fifth student (in the humanities - every third, and sometimes even second) is considered to be as preparatory and special medical group or just can`t be involved in physical activity; The level of more than 50% of young people studying in higher educational institutions of our country does not even meet the average level of the state standard of physical fitness, which guarantees stable health. This situation is due to the fact that for today's young people improving their health is not of paramount importance. At the same time, she does not have the necessary knowledge and life experience that would allow her to preserve her personality, to learn the optimal norms of life, based on the understanding of health as the greatest value. A significant part of the diseases of student youth has a so-called didactogenic nature, that is caused or provoked directly by the conditions of the educational process. In this situation, one of the main tasks of pedagogical education is to improve the physical culture of the student.

Balanced nutrition and physical activity are factors that play an important role among men, in terms of the health of young people's activities and in controlling their own body weight. Material and method: the study favored a number of 97 young people from technical colleges in Bacău and Suceava. In these young people a physical function was well appreciated, during the daily activity for physical activities and habits for use. Results and discussions: the height of the students is average (70.10%), as well as the body weight (72.6%). Harmonic development is presented only to 58.76% young people. The time allocated daily to physical activities depicts 1 hour for 22.68% young people. Milk is missing the diet in 17.52% students, the chicken in the menus of 2.06% young, and the fruits in 1.03%. Conclusion: young people do not use physical activity as a way of controlling body weight but they use food restrictions.

The study I have carried out aimed mainly the determination of the level of the motion perception and its benefits, but also the understanding of the manner in which leisure time is spent and the raise of awareness regarding the importance of healthy eating in daily lives. The research was carried out on a sample of 50 young people (boys and girls) aged between 19 and 30. The main method of research used was the investigation, which was based on an anonymous standardized questionnaire with 8 questions. The study shows that the main effect young people have perceived for having a sports activity is the development of physical condition followed by tackling of the excessive weight and also the maintenance of an optimal muscle tone, as well as the education of the positive characteristics of the personality and the extension of the skills and motor skills sphere to an equal but small value. They also confirmed that sports accompanied by friends or colleagues are preferred for leisure time, food also being perceived as very important or important in a majoritarian percentage, meaning that the younger generation is aware of the important role of nutrition in maintaining health. Unfortunately, however, it is clear that there is no regular physical activity in those surveyed, with the results of those who are adherents of regular physical activity slightly below the results of those who do not practice regular forms of activity.

The European report "Bulgaria - Health Profile for the Country 2017" reflects statistics on the obesity and immobilization of young people in the country. Although adult obesity levels are below the EU average, they have increased by 25% since 2008, with statistics showing that among young people they have risen by two-thirds in the 2005-2006 and 2013- 2014 and have reached 20%. Also, more than half of Bulgarian pupils in 1-12 grades (51%) are extremely immobilized, one of the reasons being rare visits to physical education classes and lack of interest in additional sport outside compulsory schooling. Separately, every third grader in Bulgaria has a problem with extra pounds, although in most cases it is the parents who refuse to accept that their child needs change and help, not to mention a strict diet and encouragement to exercise sports. More than 50% of the children who crossed the classrooms for the first time this year in Bulgaria are already having vertebral distortion. Only 3% of Bulgarian teenagers say they sometimes go to the gym because they want to look good and build up muscle mass. However, a positive aspect is that a higher percentage of girls and boys at 15 years of age in Bulgaria report regular physical activity than in other EU countries, although less than 25% report moderate exercise intensive physical activity on a daily basis. This study aims to analyze, on the basis of an authoritative survey, the opinions and the vision of active training parents as to whether their children should be attending fitness training. The survey was conducted within 2 months through an online survey of 21 questions, with a total of 187 active sporting parents. Questions concern both the sporting aspects, the healthy diet and the overall condition of the child, through the eyes of his/her parents.
