The activity in scientific research has been able to be studied, measured, compared, analyzed and objectified through Scientometrics, discipline that applies to all the literature of scientific character, mathematical and statistical methods, thus achieving, that social aspects of science can be quantified. From the scientific literature, scientific publications (tangible products of the research) are derived, which are specifically studied by the bibliometrics. This last one, is a branch of the Scientometrics, that is guided under the assumption that the scientific discoveries and the research results are published in scientific journals, so its unit of analysis is the scientific article. The word bibliometrics was defined for first time by Alan Pritchard in 1969, and since then, multiple concepts of this term have been developed. However, it has reached to the consensus that this methodological tool allows to know the scientific production (in quantity, quality and impact) on various topics, journals, authors and countries, among others. Its main research lines are the methodology for bibliometrics, the scientific disciplines and the health management and policies. Likewise, it has descriptive, evaluation and supervision/monitoring functions of the research activity, on which its classification into levels (micro, meso and maso) will depend directly. Because it has components from various sciences, among them the mathematics, its methodology and theory are based on mathematical models, from which the bibliometric indicators are derived. Although there are other types of research such as systematic reviews and meta-analyzes, these, require a better management in the field of research and of the statistical measurement, as well as more resources. On the other hand, a bibliometric study owns the nobility of being within the reach of students and researchers due to its methodology, practicality, relevance, resource saving, potential to extend to most of the scientific areas, multiple applications and favoring the fact of not committing ethical misconduct related to research. Finally, although bibliometrics is often underestimated, its power and importance as a tool to manage evidence-based knowledge and to serve as a basis for other types of studies such as systematic reviews must be emphasized.

In accordance with the priorities of state policy in the areas of ensuring national security, law enforcement agencies continue to improve the practice of combating fraud in the construction industry. Measures are being taken to protect budget funds allocated for the construction and reconstruction of large socially significant objects, in particular cultural heritage, housing and communal services and the transport system, mechanisms are being analyzed and developed to counter fraudulent schemes in the construction market. Today, the scientific community considers fraud committed in the course of construction work as one of the thefts of state or other property. According to the object of the crime in the field of construction, the investigation establishes whether the encroachment actually occurred, and if so, is it aimed at a specific form of ownership determined by the ownership of the property. This circumstance requires, first of all, careful documentation and an accurate assessment of the damage received, in connection with which it is required to conduct appropriate documentary research by employees through the internal affairs bodies. The purpose of the scientific there was a study of the methodological aspects of documentary research in identifying economic crimes in the construction industry. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research in the scientific article was the work of both Russian and foreign experts in the field of accounting and control, audit activities, regulatory documents on the research topic, as well as periodicals of leading legal scholars and economists. The main research methods used in writing the work were the methods of documentary verification, analysis and monitoring. According to the analysis of criminal cases, as well as the generalized practice of documentary research, we have identified and systematized the main signs of economic crimes in the construction industry, investigated the methodology of conducting documentary research in identifying and documenting fraud, and examined schemes for committing tax crimes in construction.

In the modern economy, tax risks are far from the last in importance. First of all, this is due to the fact that taxes are the main sources of formation of the country’s budget and thereby create an economic basis for the existence of a state that can perform its functions only if there is adequate funding. The size and condition of the budget, in turn, have a regulatory effect on the economy. Taxation is an integral part of the modern system of redistributing funds between economic entities, and therefore the urgency of the problem of tax risks is beyond doubt. From the point of view of the state (represented by the tax authorities), tax risks are the likelihood of a taxpayer’s non-compliance with tax legislation, i.e. financial losses of budgets of all levels and the state as a whole. In other words, the tax risks of the state consist in the likelihood of receipt of smaller amounts of taxes in comparison with the planned volumes, which can lead to negative consequences, for example, to an unplanned budget deficit. Such consequences can limit the possibility of financing many budget expenditures, which will lead to a slowdown in economic growth as a whole. The purpose of the scientific article was to study the influence of the role of tax risks as an effective threat to ensure the functioning of the state’s economic security system. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study was the work of both Russian and foreign experts in the field of economic security of the state, as well as materials from the periodicals of leading economists. The main research methods used in writing the work were the method of theoretical systemic economic analysis, the monographic (descriptive) method.

Recently, there has been a growing interest in the mining industry in issues related to risk assessment and management, which is confirmed by a significant number of publications and reports devoted to these problems. However, theoretical and application studies have indicated that risk in mining should be analyzed not only in the human factor aspect, but also in strategic (environmental impact) and operational ones. However, there is a lack of research on systematic literature reviews and surveys of studies that would focus on these identified risk aspects simultaneously. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to develop a literature review in the area of analysis, assessment and risk management in the mining sector, published in the last decade and based on the concept of a human engineering system. Following this, a systematic search was performed with the use of Primo multi-search tool following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. The main inclusion criteria were: (a) not older than 10 years, (b) article written in English, (c) publication type (scientific article, book, book chapter), (d) published in chosen electronic collections (Springer, Taylor and Francis, Elsevier, Science Direct, JSTOR). This resulted in the selection of the 94 most relevant papers in the area. First, the general bibliometric analysis was conducted. Later, the selected papers in this review were categorized into four groups and the critical review was developed. One of the main advantages of this study is that the results are obtained from different scientific sources/databases thanks to using a multi-search tool. Moreover, the authors identified the main research gaps in the area of the implementation of risk management in the mining industry.

Abstract. The main research areas of the Social and Health Psychology group at the Department of Psychology at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, are introduced. Exemplarily, three currently ongoing projects are described. The project ”Dyadic exchange processes in couples facing dementia” examines social exchanges in couples with the husband suffering from dementia and is based on Equity Theory. This project applies a multi-method approach by combining self-report with observational data. The ”Swiss Tobacco Monitoring System” (TMS) is a representative survey on smoking behaviour in Switzerland. Besides its survey character, the Swiss TMS also allows for testing psychological research questions on smoking with a representative sample. The project, ”Theory-based planning interventions for changing nutrition behaviour in overweight individuals”, elaborates on the concept of planning. More specifically, it is tested whether there is a critical amount of repetitions of a planning intervention (e.g., three or nine times) in order to ensure long-term effects.
