Towns are tourist destinations because of their material heritage, cultural events as well as a wide range of other attractions. A special role in contemporary tourism development is played by historic towns that offer tourists not only heritage but also combine their genius loci with contemporary human needs. Sandomierz is one of the oldest Polish towns with its origins going back to the early Piast period. The thousand years of its history is visible in a well-preserved urban-architectural complex which has successfully survived both world wars in the 20th c. Today's image of ‘tourist’ Sandomierz is connected with the TV serial of Ojciec Mateusz. The story, set in Sandomierz, has become a tourist attraction as well as an important means of promotion and creating an image of the town as a pleasant and hospitable place. The role of the serial as a factor for tourism development in terms of tourism infrastructure and volume of tourists dates from 2008. Sandomierz offers much else that has created favourable conditions for the development of new forms of tourism.

Nowadays, tourism has an important place in urban development, where every city competes to improve their tourism. Night tourism, as the new strategy in tourism development, needs to be given attention from the stakeholder. The two most important aspects of the night tourism development are environmental and night atmosphere.  Increasing the aspect of night tourism cannot be separated from the local wisdom-based. Berastagi is the most popular tourist destination in Karo Regency, which has a night tourism destination. Not only it, but Berastagi also has an authentic culture from the Karonessse tradition. Unfortunately, both of these potentials have not developed yet as the strength of tourist attraction in Berastagi. This paper aims to find how are the development of the environment and atmosphere aspect of Berastagi Night Tourism based on local wisdom. This research used a descriptive qualitative method which analyzes data collected by field observation and depth interview. The study shows that involving local wisdom in developing the environment and night atmosphere can build a specific identity for the town night tourism.

The aim of this research is to determine the tourist perceptions and motivation that visit to Jembong tourist destination. This research was conducted at the Jembong tourist destination, Jembong District, Ambengan Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency. The research method used is descriptive quantitative by distributed questionnaires to two hundred and twenty fivetourist that visiting Jembong tourist destination in Jembong district, Ambengan Village. A questionnaire consisted of twenty threestatements that refer to the theory of tourism development, which are tourist attraction, amenities, access and ancillary services and eighteen statements of tourist motivation that refer to the push and pull theory motivation. The potential tourist attraction in Jembong tourist destination are waterfall, trekking, and nature. The facilities are bathroom and change room, trash bin, restaurant, parking area, and gazebo. Local community who has an authority to make signboard and provided stairs and trail to facilitate tourists toward waterfall and trekking. Tourist information center made simultaneously with entrance ticket counter Jembong tourist destination. Promotion media at Jembong tourist destination are brochure, email and instagram. Maps of Jembong tourist destination is available in google maps therefore tourist easier toward Jembong tourist destination. The results of this research finding the higher of push motivation and pull motivation is related with beauty nature that suitable with the higher tourist perception to attraction are freshness air and beauty nature in Jembong tourist destination.

Urban tourist destinations or City Break destinations are representing one of main destination products on tourist market. City Break destinations are big cities, administrative, economic and political centers of states and regions. These cities are 'open' 24 hours per day, seven days in week. Inside these tourist destination we can find different range of products (culture, entertainment, recreation, leisure, history, modern infrastructure). In these destinations season is not present and it lasts trough out the year. Promotional campaigns in City Break destinations are truing to create distinguished images in tourists mind as also as on investors, consumers and future residents. They emphasize advantages that those cities are delivering to their consumers, but often we forget that all these cities are having specific geographic landscapes. In the era of limiting of mass tourism to preserve resources for future generations and emphasizing the importance of sustainable development for tourism perspectives, the importance of specific geographic landscapes inside urban destinations for their further development as tourist destinations an their overall development is slightly neglected.

The article considers the relationship between renewal of monuments and tourism from the aspect of a mutual experience of the future cultural historical monuments, as a part of a nation’s total cultural heritage and as one of the most important preconditions for tourism development. Renewal of monuments is partly aimed at increasing the attractiveness of the tourism offer; at the same time it displays the relationship of a given tourist destination towards a country’s cultural heritage and surroundings, and is a part of real tourism trends. The mutual relationship between renewal of monuments and tourism is considered through two aspects: 1. Renewal of monuments as a precondition for securing a tourist attraction i. e. a monument which is already a tourist attraction, monument renewal as a condition for increasing the attractiveness of the same, and 2. Renewal of monuments as a tourist attraction sui generis, where the scheme of renewal attached to the monument’s attractiveness is given as the initial theme, i.e. means of collecting financial aid for renewal, while a second theme considers the renewal as an attraction sui generis through all phases to finishing the renewal and introducing the monument. Finally, the article gives suggestions on how to organize co-operation between institutions responsible for tourism, i.e. for the protection and renewal of monuments.

In  this  research  aims  to the  pattern  of  tourists’ visit on  tourists  attraction in  the  area of Sarbagita.  This  reseach was carried out to find out the movement of tourists in visiting one to other tourist destinations which existed in the area of Sarbagita. This research was through several stages, namely: identification of characteristic of tourists who were visiting Sarbagita area and how about the pattern type of their visit. Next it was studying how the path of tourists’ movement who were visiting tourist attractions existed in Sarbagita area. Data collection technique was using observation, interview,  distribution  of 100 questionnaires, literature study and documentation. Informant determination technique was  using  accidental  sampling. The  result  of  research  showed  that  tourists who were visiting various tourist destinations existed in Sarbagita area with the highest number of visits was in tourist attraction of Tanah Lot, Uluwatu, Kuta Beach, Sanur Beach, Bedugul, Ceking Rice Terrace and Pandawa Beach. The pattern of tourists’ visit who were visiting Sarbagita area had 4 types of visits, namely the first wasm “Single  Destination With  or Without  side  Trips” , the second was  “Transit  Leg  and Circle  Tour  at a  Destination” ,  the  third  was “Circle  Tour  With  or Without  Multiple  Access ,  Egress  Points ;  Different  Itinerary  Styles  Possible  at   Different  Destination  Areas”, and the fourth was “Hub and Spoke Style”. Bali is one of the tourist destinations that is growing rapidly in Indonesia. Most people when they hear about bali island are synonymous with exotics beach. Bali is famous with the beautiful beach panorama. One of tourist attraction in the Bali Island is Mertasari Beach. Mertasari beach is an indigenous Intaran village. In tourism management is done one way to approach community institutions, namely the indigenous village institutions. Intaran village is one of the indigenous villages that located in South Denpasar District. In terms of management in Mertasari Beach, Intaran village started to build a management in December 2014 by forming BUMDES (Owned Indigenous Village). However, management Mertasari Coast has not fully given to the village. In conducting the study authors used data collecting observation, interviews, documentation studies and literature studies with similar previous studies. These results indicate that the role of Indigenous Village in Beach Intaran in the management of Mertasari terms of existing management stage such as: Planning (Planning) covers, community empowerment programs, increase sustain ability in Mertasari Beach, improve hygiene in Mertasari Beach and financial planning. Organizing (Organizing) includes, forming management organizational structure is accompanied by a clear task. Mobilization of people (Actuating) include, mobilize communities in managing Mertasari Beach, and Supervision (Controlling) include, supervision in the field of employment, supervision in the field of security and supervision of the trader.   Keywords: Management, Role, Indigenous Village

Public relations plays essential roles in communicating and building image of tourist destinations in order to attract a significant number of tourists. Starting from this consideration, this research investigates the role of hotel public relations practitioners in communicating Yogyakarta as the tourist destination. The growth of tourists arriving in Yogyakarta cannot be separated from the role of hotel public relations practitioners in communicating Yogyakarta as the great place to visit. This research employed descriptive qualitative approach. The data was gathered by conducting interviews with three hotel public relations practitioners in Yogyakarta who have experienced in this field at least one year. Based on activities they did to communicate Yogyakarta as the tourist destination, it can be categorised that hotel public relations practitioners in Yogyakarta play communication technician role by using the beautiful and unique cultures and landmarks as backgrounds to communicate their hotels to tourists, using both conventional and new media to strengthen the image of Yogyakarta.

Mobile applications, as a very dynamic segment of modern ICT (Information and Communication Technology), are in widespread use in tourism. Tourist destinations are increasingly using mobile applications to manage the development of a destination product, that is, the applications themselves are seen as an important part of the destination product and the overall tourists’ experience. This paper focuses on mobile applications and their use in destination management and the achievement of overall tourist satisfaction. Special attention is paid to the use of mobile applications in the management of tourism development in Belgrade as well as the impact of mobile applications on tourists’ experience of Belgrade as a tourist destination.

The management of tourist attractions is one of the main keys to increase the growth of the tourism sector. The role of the community and the government is a must in maintaining and developing tourist destinations. In this article, it will be discussed how to encourage the potential of Bali as an Indonesian tourist destination.
