This research aims to explore the kinds of rituals done by the society in around Merapi mountain facing volcanic mountain eruption threat in Cangkringan and find educational meaning in the ritual. This research uses qualitative approach, phenomenology. Research informants are Cangkringan society, Merapi mountain caretaker, and Cangkringan figures. Data collecting technique are participant observation; the researcher involved directly in the ritual. Data then analyzed by using domain, taxonomic, componential, and cultural theme. Research result shows that Cangkringan society in facing Merapi mountain eruption threat is still traditionally by labuhan ritual , laku topo bisu ritual, and sedekah Gunung ritual. These rituals are representation of educational values and local wisdom whose most fundamental objectives are to maintain nature, the values of togetherness, in order and respect to achieve outer and inner harmony.

Poverty often leads people to kufr and leads them into a life of mirage and imagination. The phenomenon of life with this ornate fantasy seems to be found on the followers of Mukrominiyyah understanding or teachings led by Mr. Mukromin in the Jangga Village, Jangga Distric,  Indramayu. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. by using primary and secondary data with data collecting technique through: library research, participant observation, open interview and depth. Research conclusion 1. Genealogy Mukrominiyyah. Mukrominiyyah is a religious group that begins with the emergence of a thought named Mukromin. Mukrominiyah is located in Jangga Village, Jangga District, Indramayu. 2. Doctrine and teachings Mukrominiyyah include: Treasure, character, fiqh, Sufism and monotheism. 3. Implications of Mukrominiyyah doctrine and teachings. 1. Positive implications include: Mukrominiyyah followers who are patient, wise and generous. While the negative implications are: the followers Mukrominiyyah have the nature of the dreamer, lazy to work and disturbed his faith.

Hospital pedagogy implies the presence of the teacher in the environment in which the sick student is to accompany him in his process of cognitive, affective and social development and contribute the elements of understanding to his current condition and in that sense, the educational process is becomes the support for the construction of the identity of chronic hospitalized students. This research aims to understand hospital pedagogy as a support in the construction of identity in chronic hospitalized students, Lima, 2017, qualitative approach, ethnomethodological method, non-participant observation technique, the semi-structured interview was used and the stories were submitted to the analysis of domains and analysis of categories that allowed the understanding of the cultural scene and the sense of identity and the interpretation of how they construct their identity through practices and values, which are acquired through interaction with their environment; relatives, doctors, nurses, auxiliaries, volunteers and friends.

Social media is a necessity for everyone in communicating and exchanging information. Social media users do not know the boundaries of age, generation, gender, ethnicity, and religion. However, what is interesting is the user among housewives. This study took the research subjects of housewives. Housewives are chosen as research subjects because they are pillars or pillars in a household. If the pillar is strong, then the household will also be healthy. Thus, if we want to build a resilient and robust generation, we will start from the housewives. A healthy household starts from strong mothers too. This study aims to find out the insights of the housewives of Kanoman village regarding the content on smartphones and social media and provide knowledge of social media literacy to housewives. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques using participant observation, interviews, focus group discussion (FGD), and documentation. The results of the study showed that previously housewives had not experienced social media literacy. Then the researchers took steps to be able to achieve the desired literacy results. Researchers took several steps to make them become social media literates. They become able to use social media, understand social media, and even produce messages through social media.

<p class="apa">The aim of this study is to describe the mathematical thinking process of autistic students in terms of gesture, using a qualitative approach. Data collecting is conducted by using 3 (three) audio-visual cameras. During the learning process, both teacher and students’ activity are recorded using handy cam and digital camera (full HD capacity). Once the data is collected (the recording process is complete), it will be analyzed exploratively until data triangulation is carried out. Results of this study describes the process of mathematical thinking in terms of a gesture of students with autism in three categories, namely correctly processed, partially processed, and contradictory processed. Correctly processed is a series of actions to solve the problems that are processed properly marked with a matching gesture, partially processed is a series of actions to resolve problems with partially processed properly marked with discrepancy gesture, while contradictory processed is a series of actions to solve the problems that are processed incorrectly marked with the dominance of discrepancy gesture. Matching gesture demonstrate the suitability of movement or facial expressions when observing, pointing, and uncover/calling the object being observed, while the discrepancy gesture indicates a mismatch movements or facial expressions when observing, pointing, and uncover/calling the object being observed.</p>

In order for all to be included according to their needs and specificities, the objectives proposed by school education must be directed to the recognition and problematization of differences. The objective of this study was to analyze the implementation of programs and actions proposed in the scope of the National Policy of Special Education from the perspective of Inclusive Education (BRASIL, 2008), in a school located in a small municipality in the west of São Paulo. The methodology consisted of formative intervention on public educational policies, programs and actions in an inclusive perspective, and participant observation to follow the actions developed by the school management team, based on a qualitative approach. The programs and actions of the Ministry of Education are effective, since they aim to contribute and help with the guarantee, not only of access, but also of the permanence with the quality of students in the school context.

Abstract Water is a multidimensional element for the indigenous communities of the Andean highlands. The Kichwa community Fakcha Llakta, of Otavalo, Ecuador has a close relationship with the existing water bodies in their territory. However, traditional knowledge associated with these resources is fading, giving way to new forms of use. The purpose of this research is to reveal the meanings of water for this indigenous community, in order to propose guidelines for sustainable resource management. It is an ethnographic study with a qualitative approach. The information was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation by the research team, and the gathering of cultural objects. The findings were organized and sub-grouped according to four recurring elements: vital and sacred; diversity of use and value; a threatened natural resource; and the sustainability of water from the ancestral perspective.

This research is done to see any risks that happened in Islamic bank, which can damage the bank. While it aims to find out the strategy used by Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI) to reduce the risk faced and often happened in the field. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collecting was done by relating proposed questions and the conclusion made from the result of the interview with Branch Manager (BM), Relation Manager, and Remedial BMI of Branch Office of Mas Mansyur. The result of this research showed that BMI of Mas Mansyur Branch Office had done the process of risk management by identifying risk in the manner of finding out the existing risks which are financing risk; market risk; and ownership risk, measuring and monitoring the risks in the manner of doing measurement to find out and see any reason that causes those risks exist, and controlling and managing the existing risks in Musyarakah Mutanaqisah (MMQ) financing in the manner of ways that have already determined by BMI of Mas Mansyur Branch Office. The purpose of this study is to describe verbal and nonverbal communication styles as well as obstacles in the communication process carried out by SPG. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are passive participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants were determined using a purposive technique. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the communication style used by SPGs is more dominated by nonverbal communication such as showing friendly facial expressions, eye contact with consumers, ideal body posture, matching clothes and make-up, managing physical closeness with consumers, and using time as good as possible. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan gaya komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal serta hambatan-hambatan dalam proses komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh seorang SPG. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi partisipan pasif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Cara penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive. Dalam menganalisis data peneliti melalui beberapa tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh para SPG lebih didominasi oleh komunikasi nonverbal seperti menunjukkan ekspresi wajah yang ramah, kontak mata dengan konsumen, postur tubuh yang ideal, pakaian dan riasan yang senada, mengatur kedekatan fisik dengan konsumen, dan penggunaan waktu sebaik mungkin.

This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of educational values in the novel Madogiwa No Totto-chan by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi with a qualitative approach that includes educational values in terms of the structure of the novel. Research methods. This research is a library research or library research that uses a qualitative approach with content analysis techniques. Conclusion of research findings: The main theme of this novel is EDUCATION, education that frees students to be creative, while the sub-theme is education must be adjusted to the development of the child's personality. The credentials found are: A mother must be wise in educating and caring for her children with special needs. A school principal or a teacher should be a leader who is brave to act in accordance with their respective beliefs and life principles. The educational values in this novel can be used as examples of learning in schools to help children with problems (special needs). An educator should be fun and not scold his students because educating children is not with anger but with advice, praise, and trust. Make kids confident, responsible, love each other, and help each other, introduce them to nature because nature stores various sources of knowledge. Educational values found are educational values related to religious education values, moral education values, social education values, and beauty education values. Recommendation: Madogiwa No Totto-chan's autobiographical novel (Totto-chan Little Girl in the Window) can be used as a learning tool for character education in schools in Indonesia because this Japanese novel has raised educational values that contain a number of noble values. One of the noble values is the value of education in the novel that abstracts the reality of Japanese society's life. Education in Japan can be applied to education in Indonesia. Keywords: Novel; Educational Values

This study is aimed at revealing how is the empowerment of education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Fisherman village Suku Laut Kuala Tungkal. Madrasah are generally born from the initiation of society as a form of concern for the condition of the people, especially children in understanding the special religion of Islam as a matter of doubt. This research is conducted by using qualitative approach. Research result, Islamic schools gait has contributed greatly to this country not only in providing a religious understanding, but also in participating to educate the children of the nation through the educational process that has lasted tens or even hundreds of years. In its journey, the empowerment of Islamic schools experienced various dynamics, commitment of Islamic school leadership, public awareness and supporting efforts became the issue that made Islamic schools hard to develop as expected
