The objectives of this research are; (1) Identifying the form of illocutionary speech acts found in Gamal Al Ghitani's Zainy Barakat novel; (2) Determine the pragmatic function of illocutionary speech acts contained in the novel Zainy Barakat by Jamal Al Ghitani.This research is a qualitative research, the research design is in the form of a literature study (study research), the data collection technique is a note-taking technique, the research instrument uses data cards and data recapitulation sheets, while the data analysis method uses the extralingual equivalent method. In this study research, 155 speech acts were found which were divided into 5 forms of illocutionary speech acts and 4 speech act functions. Based on the analysis of the utterances, it can be detailed as follows; 43 forms of assertive illocutionary speech, 61 forms of directive illocutionary speech, 11 forms of speech illocutionary commissive, 38 forms of expressive illocutionary speech, and 2 forms of declarative illocutionary speech. Of the five forms of illocutionary speech, directive speech is the most common, and the form of declarative speech is the least used. Pragmatic functions are classified into four kinds of functions, namely competitive, conventional, collaborative and conflictual. In the novel Zayni Barakat found four kinds of functions which are detailed as follows: 58 competitive functions, 28 conventional functions, 47 ​​collaborative functions and 22 conflictive functions. From these data, the most pragmatic function found is the competitive function, and the least is the conflictive function.

This study aims to describe the impoliteness of directive speech acts in online Indonesian language learning. The data collection technique in this study used the observation, note, and record technique. The object of this research was the analysis of directive speech act impoliteness. The data analysis technique used in this study was a data triangulation model. The study results indicate an impoliteness of directive speech acts on Indonesian language learning conducted by the teacher. The teacher unintentionally performed impoliteness on the directive speech acts. The first data found that the teacher asked all the students to pay attention impolitely. The second data showed that the teacher as a speaker prohibits students from taking attendance. The third data showed that the teacher used the impolite directive speech acts when saying the utter "unnecessary" and "you pay less attention" to the students who forgot to attend the class. The data (3a) above includes the impoliteness of the directive speech act of the requesting because it does not contain politeness elements that can smooth speech. Data (4a) The teacher asks students who are not members to leave the WhatsApp group, but the teacher does not use soft sentences. Data (5a) stated that the teacher instructs the students to cut the paper using a cutter and make lines on it . Next, the data (5b) stated the teacher asks students to look at the learning material using impoliteness directive speech acts. Data (5c) stated that the teacher instructs students not to forget to fill the attendance. Data (6a) stated the teacher asks students to join the google classroom but does not use polite sentences. The data includes the directive speech act of the requesting marked with the word beg. Data (7a) Teachers require students to have sufficient quotas when participating in learning Indonesian online. This paper will discuss al-af’āl al-injāziyyah or illocutionary speech acts in a novel Achbabtuka Aktsara Min Mā Yanbaghī as work 'Asīr ‘Abdullāh an-Nimsyī based on the study of pragmatics. Al-af’āl al-injāziyyah in the novel that need to be investigated as it includes expressions that use illocutionary speech acts. Three methods were used in this study, the method of data collection, data analysis methods, and methods of reporting the results of the data analysis. Based on research that has been conducted, concluded that the novel Achbabtuka Aktsara Min Mā Yanbaghī by 'Asīr ‘Abdullāh an-Nimsyī (2014)  use of various kinds of al-af’āl al-injāziyyah or illocutionary speech acts. These al-af’āl al-injāziyyah are (1) al-ikhbāriyyah (assertive), (2) al-injāziyyah (declarative), (3) al-iltizāmiyyah (commissive), (4) at-ta’bīriyyah (expressive), and (5) at-taujīhiyyāt (directive). Among the five kinds of illocutionary speech acts are the most widely used in novel Achbabtuka Aktsara Min Mā Yanbaghī is a directive speech act or at-taujīhiyyāt.

AbstrakPenelitian terhadap novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga karya Tere Liye ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kesantunan tindak tutur menyuruh pada tokoh protagonis dalam novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga karya Tere Liye. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga karya Tere Liye. Data penelitian ini adalah tindak tutur direktif menyuruh pada tokoh protagonis dalam novel tersebut. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara membaca dan memahami novel, mencatat kata, frasa, klausa, dan kalimat tokoh yang dapat dirumuskan sebagai bagian dari tuturan maupun tindak tutur menyuruh, dan menginventarisasikan data berdasarkan masalah-masalah tindak tutur direktif yang terdapat dalam novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga karya Tere Liye. Data dianalisis dan dibahas berdasarkan teori pragmatik. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan sembilan tuturan tindak tutur direktif menyuruh, yang menunjukkan bahwa tokoh protagonis dalam novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga karya Tere Liye cenderung melakukan tindak tutur menyuruh secara santun. Strategi bertutur tokoh utama dalam novel cenderung menggunakan tindak menyuruh kepada adik-adiknya. Kata kunci: tindak tutur direktif menyuruh, pragmatik, novel, Bidadari-Bidadari Surga AbstractThis research on the novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga by Tere Liye aims to explain the politeness of the speech acts of the protagonist in Tere Liye's novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The data source in this research is the novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga by Tere Liye. The data of this research are directive speech acts ordered to the protagonist in the novel. Data were collected by understanding the novel, noting down words, phrases, clauses, or sentences that can be formulated as part of speech acts, and making an inventory of the data based on the problems of directive speech acts contained in Tere Liye's novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga. Data were analyzed and based on pragmatic theory. The results of this study shows nine directive ordered speech act utterances, which indicate that the protagonist in the novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga by Tere Liye tends to perform speech acts politely. This research aims to identify, describe, and analyze the politeness of speech acts of the moderator directive the Presidential Election Final Debate in 2019. Method used is descriptive with qualitative approach. Data source is a moderator speech act in debate. Research data are the politeness of the moderator's directive of debate in the form and strategies used in the form of words, phrases and sentences. Data collecting technique used is exposure techniques and documentary data collection tool is video recordings. The explanation technique was used to elaborate the moderator directive form and strategy of speech act politeness in the Final Debate. Data analysis method used the referral method with proficient SBLC and context analysis. Based on the results, there are 160 data in the form of words, phrases, clauses, or sentences which are included in directive speech acts. There are seven forms of moderator speech directives in debate, namely directive speech acts inviting, persuading, requesting, prohibiting, asking, reminding, and ordering. The politeness of directive speech acts can be direct politeness, irreverent politeness, positive politeness, and negative politeness. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, mendeskripsikan, dan menganalisis kesantunan tindak tutur direktif moderator dalam Debat Final Pilpres 2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data berasal dari tindak tutur moderator dalam debat. Data yang dihimpun berupa kesantunan direktif moderator debat dalam strategi yang digunakan untuk memilih kata, frasa, dan kalimat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik pemaparan dan alat pengumpulan data dokumenter berupa rekaman video. Teknik pemaparan digunakan untuk menguraikan bentuk dan strategi kesantunan tindak tutur direktif moderator dalam Debat Akhir. Analisis data menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik simak bebas libat cakap (SBLC) dan analisis konteks. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan 160 data berupa kata, frasa, klausa atau kalimat yang termasuk dalam tindak tutur direktif. Ada tujuh bentuk tindak tutur direktif moderator dalam debat, yaitu tindak tutur mempersilakan, mengajak, meminta, melarang, bertanya, mengingatkan, dan tindak tutur memerintah. Kesantunan tindak tutur direktif dapat berupa kesantunan langsung, kesantunan tidak langsung, kesantunan positif, dan kesantunan negatif. This study aims to describe the form of perlocutionary speech acts found in the novel Indigo Stories. Thi is a qualitative descriptive research. The process of obtaining data was carried out through a documentation study which included reading techniques. The writer reads the novel over and over again and marks the parts of the dialogue that show it as a form of perlocutionary speech act using Searle's speech act theory. The results showed that there were several perlocutionary utterances in the Indigo Stories, such as representative, directive, expressive, commissive and declarative speech. The results showed that the most dominant type of speech found was directive which was marked by data findings of 37.86%. The type of directive speech that is mostly found is the form of speech to ask. Meanwhile, the least number of speeches found was the type of declarative speech, which was indicated by data findings of 6.25%. In this type of speech, only prohibiting speech forms are found. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk tindak tutur perlokusi yang terdapat pada novel Indigo Stories. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi dokumentasi dengan teknik baca. Penulis membaca novel secara berkali-kali dan menandai bagian-bagian dialog yang menunjukkan sebagai bentuk tindak tutur perlokusi dengan menggunakan teori tindak tutur Searle. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan beberapa bentuk tuturan perlokusi pada novel Indigo Stories, seperti tuturan representatif, direktif, ekspresif, komisif, dan deklaratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis tuturan yang paling dominan ditemukan adalah direktif, yaitu sebanyak 37,86%. Jenis tuturan direktif yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah bentuk tuturan meminta. Sementara itu, tuturan yang paling sedikit ditemukan adalah jenis tuturan deklaratif, yaitu sebanyak 6,25%.  Pada jenis tuturan ini hanya ditemukan bentuk tuturan melarang.

The objective of this study is to understand comprehensively the directive speech acts contained in the comic Tous Super-Héros by Jean-Christophe Camus, Lilian Thuram and Benjamin Chaud which includes forms, meanings and functions. The data analysed were dialogues between the characters in the Tous Super-Héros comic that were found in the dialogue balloon. The data, hereafter processed through a content analysis method with a qualitative approach. Qualitative approach used here is an approach that investigates a social phenomenon and human problems which the data collected consists of words (or text) from the expressions between speakers and interlocutors in the dialogue. Analysis of the findings shows that literal direct speech acts as a form of directive speech act has the highest intensity of 65.12%, the context of commands and warnings as the meaning of directive speech acts has the highest intensity of 20.93%, and advisories as a directive speech act function has the highest intensity of 24.41% . The findings in this study have implications for general French language insights, and for understanding the social and cultural of French expressions.

This study discusses the directive acts of the novel Bumi Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy and the directive acts of the directive acts of the novel Cinta Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The theory used is the theory of Harun Joko Prayitno. The data source of this research is a speech in the novel Bumi Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The research data consisted of utterances cited by directive speech acts which included directive speech acts and directive speech acts in the novel Bumi Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Data were obtained by referring to the competent free engage listening technique obtained by note taking. The validity of the data in this study uses theory triangulation. Research results in the novel Bumi Cinta found six forms of directive speech acts, on request, request, invitation, approval, criticism and prohibition. When viewed, the directive speech function of the novel Bumi Cinta has a variety of functions. The form of directive speech acts requires the functions of ordering, commanding, asking, activating and letting. The form of directive speech acts requests, requests, hopes and offers. The form of speech act directive invitation has the function of inviting, persuading, supporting and asking. The form of directive speech acts to support the functions of advising, asking, asking and reminding. The form of directive speech acts of criticism has the function of reprimanding and winning. The form of directive speech acts have a ban function.

An illocutionary speech act is doing something related to other functions and purposes of the speech. Speech acts are a reaction by an interaction involving two parties, namely the speaker and the speech partner. One-hour closer, which TV One broadcasted, was a talk show presenting essential people not far from the government and community leaders who had significant roles for the nation. One of the characters is Ganjar Pranowo. Ganjar Pranowo has been the Governor of Central Java for two terms who have served since August 23, 2013. This study aims to describe the forms of illocutionary speech acts and the functions of illocutionary speech acts contained in Ganjar Pranowo's speech in the talkshow "One Hour Closer." This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a sample of conversational quotations. The data collection technique used is the listening method using note-taking techniques and free-involved-talk listening techniques. The results showed that: 1) the forms of illocutionary speech acts contained in Ganjar Pranowo's speech, include assertive speech acts, directive speech acts, commissive speech acts, expressive speech acts, and declarative speech acts and 2) the functions of illocutionary speech acts that found in Ganjar Pranowo's speech, including four assertive speech acts with the function of stating, one speech act of assertive function of claiming, one speech act of advising function, two commissive speech acts of offering something, two expressive speech acts of praising function, and one declarative speech act of dismissing function. This situation shows that this study contains illocutionary speech acts and 11 different functions of illocutionary speech acts.

<p>The research entitled Directive Speech Act Seen on Family 2.0 Drama Script Written by Walter Wykes purposes to describe and uncover the types of form and intended meaning of directive speech act on that drama script. This descriptive research uses pragmatic approach and theory. The collecting and analysing data are focused on the using of declarative, imperative, and interrogative sentences in the text of drama. The forms of those sentences will be analysed to find out the types of form of directive speech act, while the context of those sentences will be used to analyze the intended meaning of directive speech act uttered by speakers. The results of the research are found that, first, there are two types of the form of directive speech acts, direct directive speech acts and indirect directive speech acts. Direct directive speech acts are represented by imperative sentence without subject; imperative sentence with let; and negative imperative sentence. Meanwhile the indirect directive speech acts are represented by declarative sentence statement; declarative sentence if clause; negative declarative sentences; and interrogative sentences. Second, the intended meanings seen on drama script of Family 2.0 are command, prohibition, request, treat, and persuasion. It can be concluded that, the most frequent intended meaning appeared in directive speech acts on this script is command by the use of imperative forms. Then, the declarative and interrogative forms are used to request something by adults charaters; in contrast the kids characters use them to command and prohibit the hearer.<strong></strong></p><strong>Keywords: </strong> family 2.0, pragmatic, speech act, directive, form and intended meaning

Abstract: This research deals with directive speech in the Mario Teguh Golden Ways. This study uses a qualitative approach. That is, data that has been found later identified, analyzed and classified through a qualitative analysis. In line with the approach, the method used is descriptive method. From the results of the study, it is showed that the speech act in Mario Teguh Golden Ways is a directive speech act, which is seen from the number of words used by Mario in giving advice. This can be seen in terms of understanding that researcher found. Directive speech acts (directives) illocutionary aim to produce an effect of an act committed by the addressees; this illocutionary is for example, ordering, commanding, pleading, demanding, and giving advice. Keywords: Discourse, Directives Speech Acts, Mario Teguh Golden Ways Abstrak: Penelitian ini berkenaan dengan bentuk tidak tutur direktif dalam acara Mario Teguh Golden Ways. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Artinya, data yang telah ditemukan kemudian diidentifikasi, dianalisis dan diklasifikasikan melalui analisis secara kualitatif. Sejalan dengan pendekatannya, metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tindak tutur yang banyak terdapat pada acara Mario Teguh Golden Ways adalah tindak tutur direktif yang dapat diamati dari banyaknya kalimat yang digunakan oleh Mario Teguh dalam berbicara memberi saran dan nasihat. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari segi pengertian yang telah peneliti dapatkan. Tindak tutur direktif (directives) ilokusi ini bertujuan menghasilkan suatu efek berupa tindakan yang dilakukan oleh petutur; ilokusi ini misalnya, memesan, memerintah, memohon, menuntut, memberi nasihat.Kata kunci : Wacana, Tindak Tutur Direktif, Acara Mario Teguh Golden Ways
