The research was motivated by the fact that a wide gap between the realization of cash waqf accumulated and the calculation of cash waqf potential in Indonesia is still wide open. Based on the previous research, one reason influencing the sluggish of cash waqf implementation is people's perception on the cash waqf. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the factors that influence perceptions of waqif on cash waqf. This research was a kind of descriptive-correlational research that seeked the relationship between education level, income level, mazhab and the information media of cash waqf as independent variables and perceptions of waqif on cash waqf as the dependent variable. Based on data analysis, it was known that from the four independent variables tested, the levels of education have a greater probability in comparison with other variables (income level, mazhab, media information) and it is statistically significant.DOI: 10.15408/ess.v4i1.1953

Several factors are important determinants of students achievement. Students positive perceptions about these factors contribute to their achievement. Considering importance of students perceptions about themselves, teachers support, and institutional climate in influencing their academic achievement, this study specifically examines students perceptions about themselves as learners, teachers support, and institutional climate for predicting their achievement. This research employed survey and correlational research designs. For this research, 372 students were randomly selected as a sample using cluster and stratified random sampling techniques. For data collection in this study, a questionnaire was adapted from Donahue (1994). For data analysis, both descriptive and inferential statistics were used, with help of SPSS. It was concluded from multiple regression analysis that university students achievement (i.e., dependent variable) can be significantly predicted from their self-perceptions, teachers support and institutional climate (i.e., independent variables).

Corruption is a behavior that cannot be socially or religiously justified. Interestingly, despite the corruption is prohibited in all religions in Indonesia, the index of corruption remains high as reported by the results of surveys of national and international institutions. Besides, research on this matter showed inconsistency in the relationships between religiosity and corrupt behavior. This research re-examined the relationship between religiosity and anti-corruption intentions and determined the moderating effect of gratitude as an intervening variable. Gratitude is one of the strongest religious values which is expected to reduce ones’ intention to do corruptions. The research was conducted using a correlational research design, involving 92 population in an educational foundation in Garut regency, West Java. Data were collected using the GRAT short form to measure gratitude and the Muslim Religiosity Scale (MRC) was employed to measure religiosity. Whereas, Anti-Corruption Intention Scale was used to measure the anti-corruption intention. The results of data analysis showed that religiosity and anti-corruption intentions were positively correlated (F= 154.1, p = .001, R2= .631), and gratitude moderated the increase in the relationship (R2= .668). Therefore, gratitude was regarded as an intervening variable that strengthened the correlation between religiosity and anti-corruption behavior by 3.7%.

This study aims to determinethe effect of Job Satisfaction in Mediating the Relationship between Compensation, Tasks Competence and Commitment of Teachers of SMA Don Bosco Padang as many as 64 people. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to the entire population that could be used for analysis purposes. Hypothesis testing was carried out by using data analysis techniques through Path Analysis. The results of the data analysis show that of the (two) independent variables, Compensation has no significant effect. Menawhile, task competence has a significant effect on the Task Commitment variable (the dependent variable). Furthermore, the Compensation and Task CompetencyVariables have a significant effect on the Job Satisfaction variable as an intervening variable. Likewise, the Job Satisfaction variable also has a significant effect on performance. Both of the Independent Variables are eligible for the Mediation test. Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable has no influence between Compensation and Task Commitment. While Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable influences the Task Competence and the Task Commitment of Teachers of SMA Don Bosco Padang. The effect of compensation variable and career development to the commitment of the task in the first phase amounted described by value R2is 0.783 or 78.3%, when compared to the effect test of variable compensation and competency tasks to task commitment in the second stage by inserting a mediating variable work motivation where the effect described by the value R2is 0.783 or 84.6% or the increase of effect by incorporating variable job satisfaction as an intervening variable is 84.6% - 78.3%, or 6.3%

The purpose of this study to determine factors that affect the performance of employee at PT. Agung Automall Cabang Sutomo Pekanbaru. Samples in this study were mostly employees at PT. Agung Automall Cabang Sutomo Pekanbaru which amounted to 61 people. Sampling selected randomly using random sampling techniques (Sugiyono, 2010:93). While the variables studied in this research is the ability and motivation. Data analysis using multiple regression linear, using validity, reliability test, the classic assumption test, F test, t test R2. The tests are conducted to determine the relationship between the independent variables (independent variables) and dependent variable (dependent variable). Based on the results of research on the ability and motivation variables on performance can be seen from Table F value obtained for F (0,05) (58) = 4,01, while F count on the F test is obtained from the data processed by 55,820, meaning F count = 55,820 > 4,01 means there is he ability and motivation variables on performance at PT. Agung Automall Cabang Sutomo Pekanbaru. From the results of the t test that most affect employee performance at PT. Agung Automall Cabang Sutomo Pekanbaru is ability with t value 8,062 > 2,00172 meaning the partial motivation positive and significant impact on employee performance, while the results of the regression equation linear is Y = 14,456 + 0,894X1 - 0,041X2.Therefore means that any changes in the ability amd motivation of both positive and negative will be amended also on the performance of employees at PT. Agung Automall Cabang Sutomo Pekanbaru

Increased competition between personal vehicle dealers make them need strategies to hold their customers and increase their sales. One of the strategies they could apply is prospecting their customers at the right time. We could predict the right time by identifying the relationship between the length of their purchase time and its factors based on the transaction data of Z Company from year 2002 to 2015 using Classification and Regression Trees (CART). Data analysis is separated between groups of customers who made the second purchase maximum of 10 years after the first purchase (group A) and more than 10 years after the first purchase (group B). Group A’s regression tree produces 8 terminal nodes with MAD value 1.84 years. The independent variables that plays a role are tenor, job, age, and brand. Group B’s regression tree produces 4 terminal nodes. Authorized service and job come out as independent variables which affect the splitting process. MAD value for Group B’s regression tree is 0.56 years.
