Study purpose. To determine the dynamics of 6th-grade schoolchildren’s motor fitness under quarantine conditions. Materials and methods. The study participants were 6th graders of the Pisochyn Lyceum, Pisochyn village, of a specialized class with in-depth study of mathematics, boys aged 11–12 (n = 13). The children and their parents were informed about all the features of the study and gave their consent to participate in the experiment. To analyse the schoolchildren’s physical fitness under quarantine conditions, the study used methods of theoretical analysis, systematization, comparison, pedagogical observations, and generalization of data of scientific and methodological literature. To organize the process of physical training of 6th-grade schoolchildren under quarantine conditions, the study used the Google Classroom educational platform with a notebook of physical self-education, posting of theoretical program material and monitoring of the pupils’ learning achievements through ZOOM conferences and test tasks. Results. According to a set of tests, there are statistically significant changes in testing results of the 6th-grade boys. Thus, in test No. 1 “Pull-ups”, the results deteriorated by 11.7% (p = 0.027), in test No. 3 “Sit-ups in 1 min” – by 3.7% (p = 0.046), in test No. 4 “Standing long jump” – by 1.5% (p = 0.001), in test No. 5 “30 m running” – by 5.5% (p = 0.001), in test No. 6 “1,000 m running” – by 7.6% (p = 0.001), in test No. 7 “Seated forward bend” – by 13.8% (p = 0.02). In test No. 2 “Push-ups”, the results deteriorated by 7.1%, the differences between mean values are statistically insignificant (p > 0.05). Conclusions. The analysis of testing results revealed a negative influence of self-isolation on the dynamics of motor fitness of the 6th-grade boys. Distance physical education is not effective, it can only be used as one of the methods of the educational process.

The effectiveness of using behavior shaping techniques to prepare nine institutionalized severely and profoundly mentally retarded adults for tests of motor fitness was assessed. Three severely mentally retarded subjects served as the executive subjects in a yoked-control study. Each executive subject was paired randomly with two profoundly mentally retarded subjects. A three-phase multiple baseline experiment was then conducted with executive subjects; yoked subjects received the same intervention as their executive partner. The training program consisted of a verbal instruction baseline phase, a modeling phase, and a graduated guidance phase. Tasks used for training were the shuttle run and standing long jump. Modeling instruction produced minimal improvement in subject performance; however, graduated guidance instruction produced marked, immediate improvement in the performance of six of nine subjects on both tasks. These results suggest that physical prompting techniques will prepare some, but not all, severely and profoundly mentally retarded adults for motor fitness testing.

The purpose of the study was to determine the priority of motor skills in the motor fitness structure of 8-year-old girls.  Materials and methods. The study participants were 40 8-year-old girls. The children and their parents were informed about all the features of the study and gave their consent to participate in the experiment. The study used the following research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observations, testing of motor fitness, probabilistic approach to assessing the learning process, methods of mathematical statistics. In the experiment, the study controlled the level of proficiency in the following exercises: “Shoulder stand”, “Bridge from supine position”, “One leg swing upward circle”. Results. The level of fitness of the 8-year-old girls is homogeneous by the development of “agility”, “movement coordination”, “speed strength”, and “endurance”; inhomogeneous – by the development of flexibility, arm strength, vestibular stability, and the level of proficiency.  The most informative indicators that determine the level of the 8-year-old girls’ motor fitness are: No. 14 “One leg swing upward circle, level of proficiency” (r = 0.890); No. 7 “Mixed hang rope pull-ups, times” (r = 0.889); No. 13 “Bridge from supine position, level of proficiency” (r = 0.842). Conclusions. Based on factor analysis, it was found that the level of proficiency in exercises influences the variation of testing results, and the development of motor skills is a priority in the educational process at primary school. The level of proficiency in the exercises “Shoulder stand” and “One leg swing upward circle” shows that the exercises are difficult for 8-year-old girls to perform. Based on the data analysis, it can be argued that the comprehensive development of motor abilities ensures the formation of motor skills, and the improvement of the level of development of 8-year-old girls’ arm flexors and vestibular stability will positively influence the educational process effectiveness.

The main purpose of this study was to determine the impact of somatotypic profile and body mass index on the physical conditions of 12-14 year-old students, based on the results of tests for assessment to motor skills included in assessment system at the Physical education and sports in schools. The 64 young men and 70 girls we will explore are from two different schools in Blagoevgrad, which subsequently were divided into four groups: two groups for the boys and two for the girls. The study groups have antropometrichal parameters: height - 161.5 ± 8.2 cm, weight - 55.25 ± 18.26, and BMI of 21.01 ± 5.82 (M ± SD) for the boys and height 159.7 ± 7.22 cm, weight 52.02 ± 10.66 and BMI (kg / m2) 20.36 ± 3.85 (M ± SD) for the girls. The participants of this study completed 4 tests to determine the level of physical fitness, which are included in the System for Control and Assessment of the Achievements of the Students in Physical Education and Sports, used in the second stage of the primary education in Bulgaria until 2019 year. The functional tests were: for boys they are: 50m (sec) sprint running; 600 m (sec) for endurance; throwing a medicine ball 3 kg (cm) and standing long jump with both feet. For the girls: 50m (sec) sprint; 300m (sec) for endurance; sit ups (pc) and standing long jump with both feet (cm). The Score are from 1 to 5, depending on the value of the result. The somatotype was measured using the Heath-Carter method. The results show mean values for endomorph of 4.44 ± 1.47, for mesomorph of 4.94 ± 2.4, and for ectomorph of 3.12 ± 1.57 for the girls (mesomorph-endomorph) and values (M ± SD) of 3, 50 ± 1.58 for endomorphism, 5.74 ± 3.04 for mesomorphy and 3.28 ± 1.77 ectomorphy for the boys (balanced-mesomorph). We used GraphPad Prism version 3.0, for statistical analysis. The correlations between somatotype index, body mass index, and results of functional tests were calculated by coefficient of Pearson (p<0,05). We checked all possible relationships between ectomorphic, mesomorphic, and ectomorphic index with condition test results. Only 6 of them having significant correlation: between mesomorph and result of 50 m at Male7 r = 0.331, p = 0.048; between the ectomorph and the result of 50 m at Female7 r = -0.346, p = 0.045; between endomorph and 50 m result at Female7 r = 0.459, p = 0.006; between the endomorph and the result of a jump from the site at F7 r = -0.414, p = 0.0015; between mesomorphs and the result of a standing long jump of Female7 r = -0.519, p = 0.0016; between ectomorphs and a score of 50 m at Female1 r = -0.3359, p = 0.043 (Pearson). The most significant correlation was found between the BMI index and the 50 m result at Male7 r = 0.832, p <0.0001 (Pearson). We identified 11 of a total of 64 possible combinations; five of which between functional capability, BMI and six with somatotype index; five were low correlations (0.3–0.5) in the range r = 0.300– 0.340; only three high positive correlations were found in the range r = 0.693 - 0.832, p <0.0001 (Pearson); seven correlation dependencies were established with the result of the test for 50 m (sec); three with a jump test (cm) and one with 600 m (sec). In conclusion we can say that our hypothesis is not confirmed, because despite the normal weight, BMI and good somatotypic profile of the subjects , they have no statistically significant effect on the functional capabilities of students.

The purpose of the study was to determine the structure of motor fitness of 7-year-old girls.  Materials and methods. The study participants were 27 7-year-old girls. The children and their parents were informed about all the features of the study and gave their consent to participate in the experiment. The research methods used in the study include analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observations, testing of motor fitness, probabilistic approach to assessing the learning process, methods of mathematical statistics. The study recorded the primary schoolchildren’s level of proficiency in gymnastic exercises. The coefficient was determined by the formula: p = (m/n)×100, where p is the level of proficiency, m is the number of successfully performed exercises, n is the total number of attempts to perform the exercise. In the experiment, the study controlled the level of proficiency in the following exercises: forward roll; backward roll; shoulderstand with bent legs. Results. The level of fitness of the 7-year-old girls is homogeneous by the development of “agility” and “movement coordination”, inhomogeneous – by the development of flexibility, arm strength, and vestibular stability, level of proficiency in gymnastic exercises. The analysis of the coefficients of variation points to heterochrony in the development of the 7-year-old girls’ motor abilities. Based on the data analysis, it can be argued that the development of vestibular stability ensures the formation of motor skills in girls. Based on factor analysis, it was found that the most informative indicators of motor fitness of the 7-year-old girls are the level of proficiency in acrobatic exercises, the results of test No. 7 “Mixed hang rope pull-ups, times” (r = 0.872) and test No. 10 “Maintenance of stable posture – standing on one leg with closed eyes, s” (r = 0.870). Conclusions. Based on factor analysis, it was found that the level of proficiency in exercises determines the variation of testing results by 29.772%, and the development of motor skills is a priority in the educational process at primary school. The development of vestibular stability ensures the formation of motor skills, and the level of general physical fitness is the reserve in training girls aged 7, which will make it possible to increase the effectiveness of the educational process.

The purpose of the research is to determine the means of development of speed-strength abilities manifesting in jump-offs in jumping exercises in classes with the 10th graders in order to improve the compliance with the standards of physical preparedness. Materials and methods. Analysis and collation of scientific and methodological literature, special preparedness testing, methods of mathematical statistics. The participants in the experiment were eight 10th-grade boys who turned fifteen or sixteen at the time of the experiment. Research results. During the experiment, we used the following tests: standing long jump, 30‑meter race from the standing start, standing triple jump. We suggested that the pupils perform special exercises: jumping on two legs and pulling up bent legs to the chest, repeated jumps on two legs over obstacles, jumping on two legs over the gymnastic bench while moving along the bench, jumping off a 60-70-cm height landing in half-squat, jumping off a 30-40-cm height onto two legs followed by a jump over obstacles (3-4 low barriers). Conclusions. When performing jumping exercises, it is necessary to create conditions for the reactive-ballistic type of muscle contractions. Experimental exercises were selected by the criteria of “the dynamic compliance principle” to correspond, fully or partly, to the nature of motor activity: motor structure, jump-off biodynamics, muscle tension regime, peculiarities of manifestation of speed-strength abilities.

Background and Study Aim. The objective of the study was to determine the peculiarities of impact of sports specialization on 3rd-year female students’ functional and motor fitness. Materials and methods. The study involved 3rd-year female students of the Donbas State Engineering Academy in Kramatorsk, who practiced badminton (n = 43), aerobics (n = 43), and callanetics (n = 43). To solve the tasks set, the following research methods were used: analysis of scientific literature, pedagogical observation, pedagogical testing; index method and medical-biological methods. Pedagogical methods were used to study the peculiarities of students’ functional state of the body and motor abilities; for data processing discriminant analysis was used. Sectional classes were held in groups according to the schedule – twice a week. Results. The study revealed the peculiarities of impact of attending badminton, aerobics, and callanetics sports sections on the level of 3rd-year female students’ functional and motor fitness. The female students who play badminton show better results in the 100-meter dash and the Standing long jump. In the exercise “Push-ups”, better results are shown by the female students who do aerobics. Conclusions. The results of classification of students by the level of motor and functional fitness and the analysis of multidimensional averages (centroids) point to the peculiarities of dynamics of female students’ state depending on sports specialization. The results of the following tests are most important for differentiated assessment of the state of motor and functional fitness at the first level: Romberg test (r = 0.662), 100-meter dash (r = 0.491), Push-ups (r = 0.491). At the second level – Stange test (r = 0.417), Standing long jump (r = 0.412).

The rapid development of artificial intelligence technology makes it widely used in various fields. In order to more scientifically assist teenagers in physical training, this paper develops a set of teenagers’ physical training system based on artificial intelligence technology. Firstly, the experimental platform is built, and the sensor nodes are connected with the test host through the serial port to collect data to the experimental platform. The system consists of target detection module, data analysis module, and human posture estimation module. The background modeling method based on vibe model is used to form the target detection module, and the canny edge detection algorithm is used to form the data analysis module. Finally, the posture auxiliary index is established to estimate the human posture. This paper makes a systematic application test on a youth sports team. The experimental group was trained with artificial intelligence-based physical training system, while the control group was trained with traditional training methods. Before the experiment, the physical fitness of the two groups of subjects were evaluated, including standing long jump, 50 meters sprint, 30 s single swing rope skipping, pull-up, and squat 1RM. After 3 and 6 weeks of training, the physical fitness was evaluated again. The experimental results show that the intelligent assistant system established in this paper can accurately show that the physiological load of the athlete is in line with the law of physiological function change. After six weeks of training, the standing long jump of the experimental group has been improved by 20.97 cm, the 50 meters dash has been accelerated by 1.21 s, the 30 second single swing rope has been increased by 13.76, the pull-up has been increased by 1.41, and the squat 1RM has been increased by 15.16. This shows that the auxiliary training system based on artificial intelligence can help young athletes improve their physical quality and enhance their sports skills.

The study used the following research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observations, testing of motor fitness, probabilistic approach to assessing the learning process, methods of mathematical statistics. In the experiment, the study controlled the level of proficiency in the following exercises: “Rope climbing in two steps”, “Rope climbing in three steps”, “One leg swing upward circle”. Results. The level of fitness of the 9-year-old boys is homogeneous by the development of “agility”, “movement coordination”, “speed strength”, and “endurance”; inhomogeneous – by the development of flexibility, arm strength, vestibular stability, and the level of proficiency in rope climbing. The most informative indicators that determine the level of 9-year-old boys’ motor fitness are: No. 12 “Rope climbing in two steps, level of proficiency” (r = 0.960); No. 13 “Rope climbing in three steps, level of proficiency” (r = 0.960); No. 14 “One leg swing upward circle, level of proficiency” (r = 0.875); No. 10 “Maintenance of stable posture – standing on one leg with closed eyes, s” (r = 0.683). Conclusions. Based on factor analysis, it was found that the level of proficiency in the exercises determines the variation of testing results by 24.287%, and the development of motor skills is a priority in the educational process at primary school. The level of proficiency in rope climbing shows that the exercises are difficult for 9-year-old boys to perform. Based on the data analysis, it can be argued that the comprehensive development of motor abilities ensures the formation of motor skills, and the improvement of the level of development of 9-year-old boys’ arm flexors will positively influence the educational process effectiveness.

The purpose of the study was to determine the dynamics of motor and functional fitness of 6th grade boys of an underfilled school during the school year under quarantine conditions. Materials and methods. The study involved 6th grade boys (n = 6), who were 11 years old at the beginning of the experiment. The study used methods of mathematical statistics for processing research results, analysis of scientific and methodological literature, testing to assess schoolchildren’s motor and functional fitness. Study results. The indices of the 6th grade students’ motor fitness deteriorated significantly after quarantine. A comparative analysis of the arithmetic mean of the indices showed that in shuttle run 4x9 m (agility) the results deteriorated by 3%, push-ups (strength) by 24.1%, pull-ups (strength) by 41.6%, bent arm hang (strength) by 18.8%, standing long jump (speed and strength qualities) by 1.29%, trunk bend in lying support (flexibility) by 41.5%.  As of September 2020, the indices of functional fitness of the 6th grade students also decreased. A comparative analysis of the arithmetic mean of the indices showed that in Shtange test the results deteriorated by 12.6%, and in Genchi test by 14.3%. The introduced quarantine measures and distance learning have negatively affected the schoolchildren’s motor and functional fitness. Conclusions. During the school year, the boys show a positive dynamics of results, and after quarantine measures there is negative dynamics, due to the lack of physical education classes. The testing results indicate the possibility of improving physical education classes, increasing motor activity, enhancing the level of motor fitness, based on the sensitive period of children’s development and individual approach to each school student.
