Purpose. The purpose of the article is a comparative analysis of the morphological indicators of street workout (StW) athletes with different training experience (TE).  Materials and methods. The study involved StW athletes (n = 27). Athletes were divided into two groups: StW-1 (n = 13, age 15.15 ± 0.44 years, TE 1.56 ± 0.22 years); StW-2 (n = 14, age 16.57 ± 0.48 years, TE 2.64 ± 0.53 years). The body length and body mass were measured; the level and harmony of physical development were evaluated. The regression method was used. The handgrip was evaluated by hand dynamometry indicators Camry EH101 electronic dynamometer (China). The handgrip was measured by the maximum grip frequency in 10 s the electronic device "Kepai" (China). The content of muscle and adipose tissue were determined by the body composition monitor OMRON BF-511 (Japan).  Results. The average value of the strength index in the StW-1 was more than 60%, and in the StW-2 was more than 70%. The StW-2 had a significant excess of the hand dynamometry, power index, impulse index of both hands; index of static and dynamic grip of the left hand; specific weight of muscles. The average level of physical development was observed in (61.54 ± 13.49)%, above the average was observed in (23.08 ± 11.69)% of StW-1. Harmonious physical development had (38.46 ± 13.49)%. In StW-2, the average level of physical development had (64.29 ± 12.81)%, above the average had (21.43 ± 10.97)%. Harmonious physical development had (50.00 ± 13.36)%. In StW-1 (46.15 ± 13.83)% had a normal fat content and a fat level below normal. In StW-2, the normal fat content had (30.77 ± 12.80)%, and the low adipose tissue content was (69.23 ± 12.80)%.  Conclusions. All athletes had a high content of muscle tissue. It was confirmed the specific effect of StW on the body of athletes. Grip strength, specific weight of muscle component are predictors of success. The information content of the proposed indices for monitoring the functional state of athletes was confirmed.

Background and Study Aim. The purpose of the work is a comparative analysis of morphological and functional indicators and characteristics of the somatotype of armwrestling athletes and street workout athletes. Material and Methods. The study involved Street Workout athletes (StW, n = 15, age - 14.87 ± 0.42 years, training experience - 1.48 ± 0.22 years) and armwrestling athletes (ArW, n = 11, age - 14.87 ± 0.42 years, training experience - 1.48 ± 0.22 years). The body length and body mass were determined. The level and harmony of physical development were assessed by the regression method. Handgrip was assessed in a static mode. The electronic handgrip dynamometer Camry EH101 (China) was used. The handgrip is determined by the maximum frequency of the grip in 10 s. The electronic device "Kepai" (China) was used to measure it. The content of muscle and adipose tissue, the level of visceral fat were determined. The body structure monitor OMRON BF-511 (Japan) was used. The handgrip index, hand impulse index, static and dynamic handgrip index were calculated. Differences were assessed using the Rosenbaum test (Q). Results. A high level of handgrip was determined for all athletes. The average value of the strength index was the StW group - more than 60% of body mass; the ArW group - more than 70% of body mass. The following indicators were observed in the ArW group: harmonious physical development had (27.27 ± 13.43)% of athletes; disharmony due to excess body mass had (45.45 ± 15.01)% of athletes; disharmony due to body mass deficit had (27.27 ± 13.43)% of athletes; normal fat content had (63.64 ± 14.50)% of athletes; low-fat content had (18.18 ± 11.63)% of athletes; high and high-fat content had (9.09 ± 8.67)% of athletes. The ArW group was characterized by high - (50.00 ± 15.81)%, high - (40.00 ± 15.49)%, and normal - (10.00 ± 9.49)%-the specific weight of muscle tissue. In the StW group, the following indicators were observed: harmonious physical development had (46.67 ± 12.88)% of athletes; disharmony due to excess body mass had (53.33 ± 12.88)% of athletes; normal fat content had (57.14 ± 13.23)% of athletes; low-fat content had (42.86 ± 13.23)% of athletes. All athletes in the StW group had a high proportion of muscle tissue. It was found that exercises with your body mass in a street workout decreased fat content compared to armwrestling. Conclusions. The results confirmed the specific effect of the sport on the body of athletes. Handgrip should be considered as a success predictor in these sports. The information content of the proposed handgrip indices for monitoring the functional state of athletes was confirmed.

The article provides the results of determining the level of physical development of the 1th-2nd course students of design specialties of the College of Construction, Architecture and Design. The physical development of students was determined by indicators of harmony of the bodybuilding (Kettle index 2), functional state of the cardiovascular system (Ruffier index), and respiratory system (Stange test). Length and weight of the body, heart rate, breathing delay time were measured. As a result of the researches, the “average” level of the physical development is determined in the 1th-2nd course girls and “sufficient” - in boys. Thus, mass-growth indicators of students according to the calculation of Kettle 2 index, both boys and girls correspond to the assessment of 5 points, which indicates a harmonious physique of students; indicators of the functioning of the cardiovascular system (Ruffier Index) of 1st year boys and the 2nd year students make 2 points, which corresponds to the ”below average” level, and the results of the 1st year girls equal to the assessment of 3 points, “average” level; indicators of the functional state of the respiratory system (Stange test) of boys of the 1th-2nd  course correspond to the assessment of 4 points (“above the average” level), and girls of both courses - 3 points (“average” level). In the age and gender aspects, physical development indicators, in general, don’t significantly differ with the general tendency to increase results with age and the dominance of boys over such in girls. The exception is the Ruffier index, where there is an opposite trend - the results decrease with age in girls and they are higher than in boys. Thus, the results of the research indicate the feasibility of introducing the 1th-2nd course students of professional pre-high education of special physical exercises into the process of physical education to improve the functional state of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.

The study of the basic laws of the formation of students' physical health is of great importance for the state not only as an economic, but also as a labor and defense potential of the country. The study of age dynamics is necessary also for the development of regional standards of physical development, physical fitness of population of young people, as well as for improving the system of health-saving technologies in the organization and conduct of the educational process in educational institutions. The aim of the study was to study the level of physical development and body composition of 1612 young men aged 17-21 living in the Republic of Mordovia. In the course of the work, 48 absolute anthropometric indicators were analyzed, characterizing the anatomical and functional characteristics of an individual. It was found that among young people a normosthenic type of constitution with a proportional chest, with a medium-sized head and andromorph body type is widespread. In the population of student’s males, the prevalence of persons with an average level of physical development, an average value of the vital index is characteristic, however, the strength index of the hand in most of the studied had an indicator below normal. The majority of students showed a normal body mass index with an average level of body density, with an increased relative mass of fat and muscle components and a reduced mass of the bone component, which is possibly a consequence of the body's response to the negative influences of environmental factors, as well as reduced motor activity and insufficient physical activity.

Students belong to a group of high health risks, since during this period of development, young people are under the influence of the inevitable processes of active physiological restructuring of the body and intensive socialization of the individual. The purpose of the study is the anthropometric indicators and indices of physical development of 1648 girls aged 17-21 of the Republic Mordovia. Anthropometric measurements included the determination of the following parameters: body weight, standing and sitting body length, circumference of the chest, shoulder, forearm, wrist, thigh, abdomen, buttocks, lower leg, ankles. The comprehensive research program was designed in such a way that it was possible to calculate body surface areas, weight and height values, body strength indices and body proportionality indices. It was found that in the studied population, girls have a wide face, a narrow long nose, and a medium-sized skull. The majority of the population is characterized by the absence of excess body weight. Girls have a normosthenic type of constitution, have an average level of physical development, an average level of body density. Among female students, a mesomorphic type of physique is common with proportional body development, a normal proportion of the bone component and a slightly increased proportion of fat and muscle components. The inversion and dysplasia of sexual dimorphism revealed in the course of the study may be a response of a more labile female body to the negative influences of social and environmental factors.

The aimwas to study of anthropometric indicators to determine the level of physical development of adolescents engaged and not involved in sports.Material and methods.110 male athletes engaged in Sambo wrestling (average age 15.4±0.7) were examined. The study used methods of complex anthropometry and dynamometry. As the main indicators were estimated the length and weight of the body, indicators of the chest circumference and vital capacity of the lungs, the value of back and carpal dynamometry. Hand dynamometry was carried out on the device medical electronic dynamometer DMER-120-0.5. Back dynamometry was carried out on the device back dynamometer, DS-500.Results. In the study group, about 61 % of athletes in each age group have deviations from the weight norm in accordance with the Broca index. Despite active physical activity, about 30 % of the surveyed, in each age group, have a medium or weak physique. The tendency towards weight loss may be due to excessive exercise or insufficient nutrition and recovery.Conclusion. There is a decrease in the values of weight-growth indices, which indicate non-compliance with the basic principles (balance, adequacy) of the nutrition system, as the main part of the system of recovery of the young athlete and require a revision of approaches to the diet of Sambo athletes.

Because the world’s population is deficient in dietary calcium, it is important to search for new sources of this essential mineral for the bones and the entire body. One of the innovative foods that could act as such a source is pumpkin enriched with calcium lactate by means of osmotic dehydration. Providing the body with easily absorbable calcium may have beneficial effects on the reconstruction of bone tissue. Postmenopausal osteoporosis is associated with body weight and fat mass gain, and the aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of consuming enriched pumpkin on the levels of adipokines and cytokines produced by the adipose tissue. This study was conducted on 12-month-old female Wistar rats that received nutritional intervention for 12 weeks. After termination of the rats, the levels of leptin, adiponectin, interleukin 31 and interleukin 33 in serum and adipose tissue were determined, and the femurs were examined histopathologically. It was demonstrated that calcium-enriched pumpkin reduced bone marrow femoral adipocytes and also markedly decreased serum leptin levels in groups of rats after ovariectomy, which was associated with a decrease of fat content. Additionally, it seems that calcium-enriched pumpkin may reduce body weight gain often observed after menopause.

The main goal of our study was to determine how the age of children, puberty and anthropometric parameters affect the formation of body composition and faulty body posture development in children. The secondary goal was to determine in which body segments abnormalities most often occur and how gender differentiates the occurrence of adverse changes in children’s body posture and body composition during puberty. The study group consisted of 464 schoolchildren aged from 6–16. Body posture was assessed with the Zebris system. The composition of the body mass was tested with Tanita MC 780 MA body mass analyzer and the body height was measured using a portable stadiometer PORTSTAND 210. The participants were further divided due to the age of puberty. Tanner division was adopted. The cut-off age for girls is ≥10 years and for boys it is ≥12 years. The analyses applied descriptive statistics, the Pearson correlation, stepwise regression analysis and the t-test. The accepted level of significance was p < 0.05. The pelvic obliquity was lower in older children (beta = −0.15). We also see that age played a significant role in the difference in the height of the right pelvis (beta = −0.28), and the difference in the height of the right shoulder (beta = 0.23). Regression analysis showed that the content of adipose tissue (FAT%) increased with body mass index (BMI) and decreased with increasing weight, age, and height. Moreover, the FAT% was lower in boys than in girls (beta negative equal to −0.39). It turned out that older children (puberty), had greater asymmetry in the right shoulder blade (p < 0.001) and right shoulder (p = 0.003). On the other hand, younger children (who were still before puberty) had greater anomalies in the left trunk inclination (p = 0.048) as well as in the pelvic obliquity (p = 0.008). Girls in puberty were characterized by greater asymmetry on the right side, including the shoulders (p = 0.001), the scapula (p = 0.001) and the pelvis (p < 0.001). In boys, the problem related only to the asymmetry of the shoulder blades (p < 0.001). Girls were characterized by a greater increase in adipose tissue and boys by muscle tissue. Significant differences also appeared in the body posture of the examined children. Greater asymmetry within scapulas and shoulders were seen in children during puberty. Therefore, a growing child should be closely monitored to protect them from the adverse consequences of poor posture or excessive accumulation of adipose tissue in the body.

Myofibroblastoma is a rare, benign stromal tumor with a diverse morphologic spectrum. Mammary-type myofibroblastoma (MTMF) is the extra-mammary counterpart of this neoplasm and its occurrence throughout the body has become increasingly recognized. Similar morphologic variations of MTMF have now been described which mirror those seen in the breast. We describe a case of intra-abdominal MTMF composed of short fascicles of eosinophilic spindle cells admixed with mature adipose tissue. The spindle cells stained diffusely positive for CD34, desmin, smooth muscle actin, and h-caldesmon by immunohistochemistry. Concurrent loss of RB1 (13q14) and 13q34 loci were confirmed by fluorescence in situ hybridization whereas anchored multiplex PCR and whole transcriptome sequencing did not reveal any pathognomonic fusions suggesting an alternative diagnosis. To the best of our knowledge this is the first documented case of leiomyomatous variant of MTMF.
