Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis soft skill siswa yang dikembangkan melalui proses pembelajaran di kelas. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksplanatory survey . Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala 5 dengan model rating scale. Responden adalah siswa salah satu SMK Swasta di Bandung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses pembelajaran memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap soft skill siswa, baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Dengan demikian soft skill dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan proses pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: soft skill, proses pembelajaran, sekolah menengah kejuruan DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ SOFT SKILL THROUGH TEACHING  AND LEARNING PROCESSThe research aims to analyze students’ soft skills. This research aims to analyze student’s motivation learning, which is developed by keterampilan mengajar guru. This research employed survey method. Data colletion techniques used question form with rating scale model on scale of 1-5. The respondents consisted of students of the private vocational high schools in Cimahi. Data were analyzed with regression technique. The result of this research show that teacher’s teaching skills had positive influence on student’s motivation learning. So, student’s motivation learning can be improved by improvement of keterampilan mengajar guru.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengalisis motivasi belajar siswa yang dikembangkan melalui keterampilan mengajar guru di kelas. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala 5 dengan model rating scale. Responden adalah siswa dari salah satu SMK Swasta di Cimahi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan mengajar guru memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa secara parsial. Sehingga motivasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan keterampilan mengajar guru.

This study aims to explore a set of literature to clarify the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach and determine if the evidence shows benefits in implementing the approach into the English for Specific Purposes (ESP) curriculum. The paper took a literature review approach and explored ten articles selected with specific criteria of being published within2014- 2020. The literature shows that the implementation of CLIL does have a positive output toward the teaching and learning process, especially for those who take English for Specific Purposes, such as in Vocational High Schools. The approach improves not only the linguistics aspects but also the non- linguistics aspect of the students' soft skills, such as high order thinking skills, problem-solving, enhanced communication, intercultural awareness, and motivation in learning. However, to meet the success of the implementation of CLIL in the ESP curriculum, some considerations and special requirements are needed. The two distinctive preparation are the syllabus for the curriculum and the readiness of human resources; the teachers. Before applying the CLIL, the two factors mentioned need mechanisms that will support the success of CLIL for the ESP curriculum in Vocational High Schools. The writer proposes a model to be implemented if the curriculum for Vocational High Schools is going to apply CLIL. Yet, it needs more researches in the future to make sure whether the model works well or needs more improvements.

In the era of modernization, people are very dependent on technology, Information Communication Technology (ICT) in education itself has important role in teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study was to investigate the kind of ICT used by the teachers, the utilization of ICT in learning process, the problems and solutions in teaching by using ICT, and the role of schools in assisting teachers to overcome the problems at vocational high schools in Sekayu. This study applied descriptive qualitative research design. The data were collected by using questionnaire, interview, observation, and document review. The participants of this study were the teachers of English, the vice-principal of facility and infrastructure, and the students. The findings of this study showed that the teachers of English at vocational high schools in Sekayu used hardware such as projector, laptop, speaker, headset, and smartphone, while software such as internet, dictionary application, e-book, Microsoft office, and browsing application. The teachers used discovery learning to utilize ICT in the syntax of the learning model. The main problem faced by the teacher was the unavailability of students� personal ICT devices. The school also had the role to assist teachers in overcoming the problems. The conclusion was the teachers had applied ICT in the learning process however they did not fully apply ICT in each syntax of the learning model used.

This study aims to investigate (1) the availability of learning facilities for distance learning (or online learning), (2) the ability of students and teachers to utilize the learning facilities, and (3) how distance learning activities take place at public or private vocational high schools, specifically whether it is perceived to be more interesting than ordinary learning. This study used a survey method to obtain data and a quantitative descriptive method to analyze the data. The type of data in this study was primary based on the responses of respondents or individuals from groups representing the population of public and private vocational high schools, especially in the Electrical Engineering Clusters in the entire areas of West Java. The results revealed that online learning has been carried out in many public and private vocational high schools in West Java. This study indicates that the availability of online learning facilities, the utilization of facilities, and the online learning process in public vocational high schools were better than those in private vocational high schools. In general, students of both public and private vocational high schools stated that online learning is not more interesting than ordinary learning, although most of them can understand the lessons taught and they were given an opportunity by their teachers to actively participate during the learning process.

The purpose of this study was to analyze influence work climate and work motivation to employees performance. This research used explanatory survey method. Data collection techniques used question form with rating scale model on scale of 1-5. Respondents are structural employees Department of Education and Culture in one of the cities in West Java. Data were analyzed using regression. The result of the study revealed that work climate and work motivation both partially and simultaneously, has the positive and significant influence toward employees performance. Thus the temployee’s performance can be improved through increased work climate and work motivation.  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh iklim organisasi dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan iklim dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Dengan demikian kinerja pegawai dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan iklim dan motivasi kerja.

The objectives of the study were (1) to describe the readiness of learning facilities; (2) to know the weakness of learning facilities; and (3) to know ideal learning facilities in implementing curriculum 2013 at state vocational high schools of east Lombok among automotive study program students in the academic year 2013/2014. This study shows that (1) the learning facilities of state vocational high schools of east Lombok were good enough. Generally in implementing curriculum 2013, the learning facilities to support the learning practices of state vocational high schools of east Lombok among automotive study program students in the academic year 2013/2014 were good enough to support the teaching and learning process. (2) There were some practice media that had not been had by the state vocational high schools of east Lombok among automotive study program students in the academic year 2013/2014, such as timing light Diesel, Trainer AC, and Card Stand EFI. It was because the learning tools were so expensive, so that the schools had not been ready to buy those media to support the teaching and learning process. (3) The ideal learning facilities were the facilities that were enough for students ration number.

This research was conducted based on the problems that often arise in formal education learning. This problem has an impact on learning achievement results obtained by students. This research was conducted at MAN 1 Bandar Lampung. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the instructional model nuanced guidance data collection techniques using expert rating scale and user rating scale. The results of this study indicate that the nuanced learning model meets the achievement of student learning outcomes in MAN 1 Bandar Lampung, by developing students' knowledge and skills in the form of soft skills and hard skills. Guidance nuanced learning model design consists of learning process planning standards, learning process implementation standards, learning process outcome standards, and learning process control standards.

AbstrakPembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang direkomendasikan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran menurut kurikulum 2013. Pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Guru SMK harus mampu mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang dapat menghasilkan aspek keterampilan kerja. Salah satu masalah paling kritis dalam proses belajar mengajar Bahasa Inggris di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan adalah keengganan dan kreativitas guru yang kurang untuk menemukan cara agar pembelajaran lebih kreatif dan menyenangkan. Untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman siswa tentang suatu materi yang telah diajarkan dalam proses belajar mengajar, guru harus memberikan tugas kepada siswa. Penugasan dapat dilakukan dengan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi guru tentang pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam desain deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan tiga guru Bahasa Inggris SMK di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Provinsi Riau sebagai responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki persepsi positif terhadap pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek perlu dilakukan oleh guru di kelas Bahasa Inggris sebagai salah satu model dalam proses belajar mengajar karena berfokus pada siswa.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek, Persepsi Guru, dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. AbstractProject-based learning is one of the recommended learning models to be used in learning according to the 2013 curriculum. The implementation of the learning process in Vocational High Schools have different characteristics from the implementation of learning in Senior High Schools. Vocational high school teachers must be able to develop learning models that can produce aspects of work skills. One of the most critical problems in teaching and learning English at Vocational High School is teachers’ unwillingness and less creativity to find ways to make learning more creative and fun. To find out what extent students understand about the material that has been taught in the teaching and learning process, the teachers must give assignments to the students. The assignments can be done with the model Project-Based Learning. The aim of this study was to investigate how teachers’ perception about project-based learning. This research conducted in descriptive qualitative design which involved three vocational high school English teachers in Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province as respondents. This research used semi-structured interview as an instrument to collect the data. The result of the analysis showed that teachers have positive perception toward project-based learning.
