Teaching and learning model is one of the factors influencing students’ learning outputs. This article discusses results of a quasi-experimental study which aims to investigate the influence of Cooperative Learning Model Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review Type on learning outputs of 86 vocational high school students, in the subject of Public Relations Administration and Protocol (in the competence of explain Public Relations Professional Organization). Using non-equivalent control group design, results of data analysis show that Cooperative Learning Model Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review Type is more suitable to improve students’ learning output in the competence of explain Public Relations Professional Organization, compare to Discovery Learning model. Thus, Cooperative Learning Model Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review Type is worth using by teachers of the subject to improve the learning outputs of their students in this subject.ABSTRAKModel pembelajaran adalah salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Artikel ini membahas hasil penelitian kuasi eksperimen yang ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review terhadap hasil belajar 86 orang siswa di sebuah SMK di Kota Bandung pada mata pelajaran Administrasi Humas dan Protokol, kompetensi dasar Menguraikan Organisasi Profesi Humas. Dengan menggunakan non-equivalent control group design, hasil analisa data menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review lebih cocok dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mempelajari kompetensi dasar Menguraikan Organisasi Profesi Humas, dibandingkan dengan model Discovery Learning. Dengan demikian model pembelalajaran kooperatif tipe Mood, Understand, Recall, Detect, Elaborate, Review dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif bagi para guru Mata Pelajaran Adm. Humas dan Protokol dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran tersebut.

Model pembelajaran adalah salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar peserta didik di kelas. Artikel ini membahas hasil penelitian kuasi eksperimen yang ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap prestasi belajar 70 orang peserta didik sebuah SMK, pada Mata Pelajaran Korespondensi, kompetensi dasar mengidentifikasi prosedur pembuatan surat dinas. Dengan menggunakan non-equivalent control group design, hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning lebih cocok dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik dalam mempelajari kompetensi dasar mengidentifikasi prosedur pembuatan surat dinas, dibandingkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif bagi para guru Mata Pelajaran Korespondensi dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran tersebut.Kata Kunci: Discovery Learning, Problem Based Learning, Prestasi Belajar THE INFLUENCE OF DISCOVERY LEARNING AND PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODELS ON STUDENTS’ LEARNING ACHIEVEMENTTeaching and learning model is one of the factors influencing students’ learning achievements. Using non-equivalent control group design, results of data analysis show that discovery learning model is more suitable to improve students’ learning achievements in the competence of identifying the procedure of writing official letters, compared to problem based learning model. Thus, discovery learning is worth using by teachers of the subject to improve the learning achievements of their students in this subject. This study aims to describe the differences in students’ critical thinking skill between class which use discovery learning and conventional learning in electromagnetic wave material. The research method used was a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design which was conducted in MAS 01 Darussalam Kepahiang. In non-equivalent control group design, the sample (was) not taken randomly but by purposive sampling technique. The research sample taken by the researcher consists of two classes,  (i.e.) the class XII A2 as an experimental class and the class XII A3 as a control class. Both classes were given a pretest to find out the students’ fundamental critical thinking skills and a posttest to find out the students' final critical thinking skills. This research was conducted in two meetings according to subchapters on electromagnetic wave material. Discovery learning model was applied in the experimental class with the steps of learning are stimulation, problem statement, data collection, data processing, verification, and generalization. The average value of critical thinking of the experimental class student was 65.7 and (the) control class was 48.12 with a value of sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 sig. α = 0.05. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in students’ ' critical thinking skills using the discovery learning model with the critical thinking skills of students using conventional learning.

Abstrak: Salah satu model yang dapat digunakan untuk melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik adalah model pembelajaran guided discovery. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran guided discovery terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik pada tahun  2019 bertempat di SMA 6 Mataram. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design with pre-testand post-test. Teknik pengambilan sampel digunakanpurposive sampling, sehingga terpilih XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIPA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan berupa model  pembelajaranguided discovery sedangkan kelas kontrol diberi perlakuan berupa model pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah (KPM) berupa tes uraian dan tes hasil belajar berupa tes pilihan ganda untuk pre-tes digunakan materi gerak harmonis sederhana, untuk post-tes digunakan materi elastisitas zat padat,  dengan mempertimbangkan validitas, reliabilitas, taraf kesukaran soal dan daya beda soal. Uji analisis hipotestis  menggunakan uji manova bantuan IBM SPSS 23. Hasil uji hipotesis didapatakan nilai signifikan 0,004 pada taraf nilai signifikan 0,05 yang artinya H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran guided discovery terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik.Kata kunci: Guided discoveri, Kemampuan pemecahan masalah, Hasil belajarAbstract: One model that can be used to practice problem solving skills and improve student learning outcomes is the guided discovery learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of guided discovery learning models on problem solving abilities and physics learning outcomes of students in 2019 at SMA 6 Mataram. This type of research used quasi-experimental research design with non-equivalent control group design with pre-test and post-test. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, so XI MIPA 4 was chosen as the experimental class and XI MIPA 5 was chosen as the control class. The experimental class was treated as a guided discovery learning model while the control class was treated as a conventional learning model. The research instrument consisted of a problem solving ability test in the form of a breakdown test and a test of learning outcomes in the form of a multiple choice test for pre-tests using simple harmonic motion material, for post-tests the material used was solidity elasticity, taking into account validity, reliability, level of difficulty problems and different power problems. Hypothesis analysis test using IBM SPSS 23 manova test. Hypothesis test results obtained a significant value of 0.004 at a significant value of 0.05 which means that H0 is rejected. ABSTRACTThis research aims to analyze the influence of cooperative learning model types Think Talk Write (TTW) against the liveliness of the grade IV SD and to analyze the influence of cooperative learning model type TTW against student learning outcomes grade IV SD.This research was conducted at SDM 020 Kuok Kampar to the subject of research is the grade IVa as a class experiment and grade 1Vb as class control in learning 2016/2017. This type of research is research conducted experiments with design research on non equivalent control group design. The instruments used in the penelitia this is the observation sheet liveliness student learning and learning outcomes a matter of grain. Data research results shows thitung (21.179) > ttabel (1.682), this means there are differences the liveliness of students. After holding of treatment and done posttest, experimental class students may be higher compared to the control class. So, there's the influence of model learning TTW against liveliness student learning. As for the second hypothesis testing, data student learning outcomes (pretest) with a value of thitung (0.015) < ttabel (1.682), this shows the lack of difference in the ability of the student learning outcomes. After being given treatment and posttest, then the data research results the results of student learning (posttest) indicates the value of the thitung (4,200) > ttabel (1.682), this means that there is a difference in the ability of the student learning outcomes. After being given treatment and posttest results, student learning in the classroom experiment higher compared to the control class. So, there's the influence of model learning student learning outcomes against TTW. Setelah diberikan treatment dan dilaksanakan posttest, maka data hasil penelitian hasil belajar siswa (posttest) menunjukkan nilai thitung (4.200) > ttabel (1.682), hal ini mengartikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan hasil belajar siswa. Setelah diberikan treatment dan dilaksanakan posttest, hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Jadi, ada pengaruh model pembelajaran TTW terhadap hasil belajar siswa. The STAD cooperative learning model can support active, independent and responsible learning for students. The application of this model is expected to improve students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills using Edmodo-assisted learning models. Edmodo was modified to become a teacher tool to expand learning at home. This research is an experimental study using a pretest-posttest control group design involving 39 students of class VIII MTs At-Taqwa Beru, Sikka, East Nusa Tenggara. Based on the results of the study it was found that the Edmodo-assisted STAD type cooperative learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills.

This research describes the differences of student’s learning with the application of cooperative learning type make a match in the electrolyte and non-electrolyte at the X grade student’s of the Madrasah Aliya DDI Lonja. This research used quasi experimental with non randomized pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted with two groups: XA as the experimental (n=21) XB as the control group (n=18). The data findings means score of experimental group (X1) is 70,5 with the standard deviation 9,6 and the control group (X2) is 62.0 with the standard deviation is 6. Based on the results, the researcher concludes cooperative learning type make a match has better than control class that used conventional learning model.

The purpose of this study was to investigate, (1) the influence of constructivist metacognitive model compared to constructivist novick, and conventional model toward critical thinking, (2) the influence of academic achievement toward critical thinking, and (3) interaction of learning model and academic achievement toward critical thinking. The sample of this study consisted of 102 eleventh grade student from 3 state senior high schools in Surakarta. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental research Pretest-Posttest, Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Anacova was used to analyze the data. Critical thinking test was administered to the experimental and the control group as pre and post-tests to measure the critical thinking. The result showed that, (1) constructivist metacognitive and constructivist novick are not significantly different but those are significantly different from the conventional model toward critical thinking, (2) Upper academic students have higher critical thinking than lower academic students, (3) There is not interaction of learning model and academic achievement toward critical thinking

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the application of learning model ofScience Technology Society (STS)  to the ability of understanding the concept of Biologystudents on the subject of VII grade ecosystem MTs Paradigma Palembang. The desain ofstudy used the design of the Nonequivalent Control Group Design with Quasi Experimentalmethod (quasi experiment). These sample included 35 students. Based on the results of theanalysis of students' concept of understanding shows that the implementation of learningusing the model of learning Science Technology Society (STS)  is better than theconventional learning model. It can can be seen from the calculation of the t-test showed ofstudents' concept of understanding sig t-value 0.000 < 0,05, then Ha accepted and H0 rejected.The result of analysis of the improvement of the average completeness of the conceptualunderstanding of the experimental class is 48.2% while the students 'understanding of thecontrol class is 29.2%, which means that the students' understanding of the concept of theexperimental class is higher than the understanding of the concept of the control class. This, itcan be concluded that the learning model of Science Technology Society (STS) around effecton understanding the concept of students of class VII MTs Paradigma Palembang

ABSTRAKSI: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pengaruh interaktif antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi belajar Fisika. Penelitian menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pre-test dan post-test non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa Kelas X MIPA SMAN (Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri) 1 Kubutambahan di Bali, Indonesia, yang terdiri dari empat kelas atau 130 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis kovarian dua jalur. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa diakibatkan oleh perbedaan model pembelajaran. Prestasi belajar yang lebih tinggi diraih oleh siswa yang menerima perlakuan model PBL (Problem Based Learning atau Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah). Perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa juga diakibatkan oleh perbedaan motivasi berprestasi. Prestasi belajar yang lebih tinggi diraih oleh siswa yang memiliki MBT (Motivasi Berprestasi Tinggi). Akhirnya, ada pengaruh interaktif antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi berprestrasi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. KATA KUNCI: Model Pembelajaran; Prestasi Belajar; Motivasi; Matapelajaran Fisika. ABSTRACT: “Effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning Model and Student Achievement Motivation in Gaining the Physics Learning Achievements”. The research describes the interactive influence between model of learning and achievement motivation toward Physics learning achievement. The research used a quasi experimental study with pre-test and post-test non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study were the students of Class X Mathematics and Sciences at the Public Senior High School 1 Kubutambahan in Bali, Indonesia, consisted of four classes or 130 people. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and two-ways analysis of covariance. The results of this study reveal that the student achievement is due to the differences in learning models. Higher learning achievement was achieved by students who received treatment of PBL (Problem Based Learning) model. The differences in student achievement are due to also the differences in achievement motivation. Higher achievement of learning achieved by students who have high achievement motivation. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model discovery learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SD. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimental-semu (Quasi Experimental Design) dengan Pre-test Post-test Non-equivalent Control Group Design dan menggunakan teknik  pengambilan sampel purpose sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data Uji-t. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD dengan menggunakan model discovery learning.
