The article discusses the difference between victimization tension in a multicultural and multicultural society. The authors determine a characteristic of the current state of development of society and indicate the consequences of transition, globalization and geopolitical changes. The problems of education arising in a multicultural environment are highlighted. The analysis of the effectiveness of using the restorative approach of school mediation services in Russia and abroad is presented. The article provides an analysis of victimization of Russian society, which determines the main zones of victimization arising as a result of geopolitical and migration processes. Six main territories that are vulnerable from the point of view of the emergence of a multicultural environment were identified. Communities with victim motivational and fundamental characteristics aimed at preserving identity without the exchange of cultural patterns are described. It is indicated that for educational purposes in territories with multicultural tendencies, the educational type of mediation is the most interesting

We investigate a method of chaos control in which intervention is proportional to the difference between the current state and a fixed value. We prove that this method allows to stabilize the most usual one-dimensional maps used in discrete-time models of population dynamics about a globally stable positive equilibrium. From the point of view of targeting, this technique is very flexible, and we show how to choose the control parameter values to lead the system towards the desired target. Another important feature of this control scheme in the ecological context is that it can be designed to prevent the risk of extinction in models with the so-called Allee effect. We provide a useful geometrical interpretation, and give some examples to illustrate our theoretical results.

This article explores the cooperation of Spain and Russia in the area of education due to implementation of the joint degree program between Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and University of the Balearic Islands). The study of the bilateral dialogue within the framework of educational policy and outlining its prospects is relevant since Spain is the strategically important partner for the Russian Federation. Analysis of the potential of university cooperation between the two countries at the present stage is also necessary for expanding the presence of Spain and Russia in the humanitarian sphere abroad, and creating a positive image of both countries among foreign partners. The novelty of this research lies in the detailed analysis of the joint Master’s program and postgraduate education implemented between Peoples' Friendship University of Russia and University of the Balearic Islands), its current state and development prospects, as well as the challenges faced in the process of implementation of this project. It is noted that the joint degree program between the Russian and Spanish universities are an integral part of their cooperation in the sphere of education. The author establishes that the difference in academic degrees in the Russian and Spanish systems of education remains a crucial and unresolved issue, which obstructs the bilateral partnership in this area.

In the article, the author examines the peculiarities of the influence of the criminal subculture on crime among minors and youth, which in recent years in Russian society is known by the abbreviation «AUE». The causes and conditions of the spread of the criminal subculture among minors and youth are investigated. Currently, modern technologies allow using minimal time and financial resources to get the maximum effect for criminals. The author pays special attention to the issue of popularization of the criminal subculture through the Internet, which requires new approaches to the development of preventive measures against the phenomenon under consideration. For law enforcement agencies, the modern criminal subculture «AUE» is interesting, first of all, in the quality in which it can influence the criminal situation in society. The negative impact of the criminal subculture on crime among minors and young people is primarily due to the fact that it contributes to the formation of negative personality traits of a minor, which in turn becomes the basis for the formation of criminal behavior. The peculiarity of the negative influence of the criminal subculture «AUE» is that it is considered such not only from the point of view of its social assessment, but also within a specific group: relations among minors and young people.

ABSTRACT Meeting changing customer demands and business opportunities in a connected world makes it necessary for organizations to constantly innovate by means of value-creating collaborations. The goal of value modeling is to support the exploration of new business models from an economic point of view. The e3value approach to value modeling is based on an explicit ontology and supported by a graphical tool. This paper provides a structured overview and evaluation of e3value, and discusses two important issues. The first issue concerns the difference between a value co-creation perspective and an exchange value perspective. It shows that with some extensions, e3value can support both. The second issue is model quality. It argues that an ontology is not complete without model quality features and, as far as e3value is concerned, proposes to use the notion of “value cycle” as a soundness feature and as a replacement of the scenario concept.

In the 80s and 90s of the 20th century, womens literature in Russia began to rapidly develop and become recognized as a special phenomenon - for the first time after the last turn of the epoch: Soviet literature was rarely considered in Russian literary criticism from a gender point of view. The creativity of modern women writers became a vivid phenomenon in the context of the Russian literary process, revealed a unique female view of many socio-psychological problems, and in its own way reflected the historical turning point experienced by Russian society. In China, traditionally sensitive to Russian culture, the growth of female literature in Russia was noted almost immediately, and Chinese scientists have so far achieved considerable results in studying the specifics of themes, plots, typology of heroes, artistic styles, and the language of Russian female literature. This article is aimed at summarizing the current state of research on the work of Russian writers in China. It presents both generalizing works and materials devoted to individual writers personalities (L. Petrushevskaya, T. Tolstaya, L. Ulitskaya).

The study of domestic philological education as a holistic and systemic phenomenon involves its study, both from the point of view of historical retrospective and in the context of modern innovative settings. Meanwhile, the scientific field related to the study of the interaction of traditions and innovations in the evolution of domestic philological education has not received due understanding by now. Within the framework of the indicated problem, questions arise, the solution of which in modern conditions has special acuteness and topicality. What are the trends and dynamics of changes in the interaction of traditional and new experience in the development of domestic philological education? What factors influence the nature of the interaction of traditions and innovations in the development of the theory and practice of domestic philological education? What does analysis and understanding of the interaction of traditions and innovations in the historical past of Russian philological education give to assess its current state and, no less important, to predict its future development? The list of these questions indicates the seriousness and scope of the study. The dynamism of global changes in the world, the change in the economic and socio-cultural patterns in the country contributed to the fact that higher education had to flexibly respond to the current situation in the training of personnel.

The article represents a historical survey that describes the emergence and development of the circular economy as an independent concept and its interconnection to the phenomenon of new industrialization. The variety of definitions of the concept “circular economy” given by Russian and foreign scientists are provided in the article; basic approaches to the concept formation are determined. The comparative analysis of basic concepts related to the environmentalism (sustainable development, ecologization, green economy, circular economy) was carried out. The evolutionary development of ecological imperatives that take part in the concept formation is studied; the characteristics of the concept, current state and general development prospects are described. The article is concluded by the clarified definition of “circular economy”. From the author’s point of view, the circular economy concept is a general approach to promote green growth in countries’ development that allows overcoming global ecological problems and, as a result, achieving sustainable state of the planet and saving lives on Earth.

Previous work has shown that sensory pleasure is both the motor and the sign of optimal behaviors aimed at physiological ends. From an evolutionary psychology point of view it may be postulated that mental pleasure evolved from sensory pleasure. Accordingly, the present work tested empirically the hypothesis that pleasure signals efficacious mental activity. In Experiment 1, ten subjects played video-golf on a Macintosh computer. After each hole they were invited to rate their pleasure or displeasure on a magnitude estimation scale. Their ratings of pleasure correlated negatively with the difference par minus performance, i.e., the better the performance the greater the pleasure reported. In Experiments 2 and 3, the pleasure of reading poems was correlated with comprehension, both rated by two groups of subjects, science students and arts students. In the majority of science students pleasure was significantly correlated with comprehension. Only one arts student showed this relationship; this result suggests that the proposed relationship between pleasure and cognitive efficiency is not tautological. Globally, the results support the hypothesis that pleasure is aroused by the same mechanisms, and follows the same laws, in physiological and cognitive mental tasks and also leads to the optimization of performance.

AbstractRapid development of community health information networks raises the issue of semantic interoperability between distributed and heterogeneous systems. Indeed, operational health information systems originate from heterogeneous teams of independent developers and have to cooperate in order to exchange data and services. A good cooperation is based on a good understanding of the messages exchanged between the systems. The main issue of semantic interoperability is to ensure that the exchange is not only possible but also meaningful. The main objective of this paper is to analyze semantic interoperability from a software engineering point of view. It describes the principles for the design of a semantic mediator (SM) in the framework of a distributed object manager (DOM). The mediator is itself a component that should allow the exchange of messages independently of languages and platforms. The functional architecture of such a SM is detailed. These principles have been partly applied in the context of the HEllOS object-oriented software engineering environment. The resulting service components are presented with their current state of achievement.
