Features of Attention of Modern Adolescents in Multitasking Conditions when Involving Them in Information and Communication Technologies

The article examines a fairly widespread psychological phenomenon of media multitasking (a subspecies of multitasking) in teaching adolescents in the context of their active involvement in information and communication technologies. The subject of the research is the peculiarities of attention of generation Z representatives in the realities of media multitasking among modern adolescents. The article presents the results of an empirical study of media multitasking in modern adolescents. The article analyzes the relationship between multitasking and the involvement of adolescents in interaction with information and communication technologies and with the peculiarities of their attention (concentration and selectivity). The article describes the research procedure, the sample, the empirical tools used, the reliability of the results obtained, also the research conclusions are formulated. In the course of the empirical study, it was shown that today multitasking is a very common phenomenon, to a greater extent inherent in people with a high degree of involvement in ICT. Our empirical research has confirmed our assumption that most of today’s adolescents are characterized by either a high or medium degree of involvement in interaction with ICT. In the conclusion, the main results of the study are presented, on the basis of which new tasks are posed in the study of the phenomenon of multitasking, as the available data on the issue of multitasking and its impact on humans need further research and clarification

Image of the Fireplace in «Eugene Onegin» by Alexander Pushkin: its Role and Compositional Functions

This article examines the role of the artistic image of the fireplace in «Eugene Onegin» by Alexander Pushkin. The image of the fireplace is not only a reflection of the realities of the noble life of the 15th – 20th centuries, but also a kind of companion for the characters of the novel. The task of the research is to determine the role and compositional functions of this image in the novel. It has been established that the image of the fireplace in Pushkin’s novel is found in the first, fourth, seventh and eighth chapters of the text, along with multiple references to stoves. The authors of the article tried to trace how the image of the fireplace changed from chapter to chapter, and also to determine what caused this change. The article presents various interpretations of the image of the fireplace not only in the novel «Eugene Onegin», but also in other texts by A. Pushkin, as well as in the works of other authors who implement this image in their works. It has been established that the image of the fireplace performs many functions: it reflects the desire of the characters to follow the trend of fashion; the fireplace is a traditional symbol of warmth, comfort and home; a place near the fire is a place of rest and relaxation; the fireplace often turns out to be a symbol of sadness, melancholy and a place of loneliness, etc. With the help of this image, the author characterizes not only the protagonist of the novel, but also himself.

IMPROVING THE EMOTIONAL AND VOLITIONAL SPHERE AS A CONDITION FOR INCREASING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF COMPETITIVE ACTIVITY OF WEIGHTLIFTERS

The article discusses the importance of the emotional and volitional sphere for improving the effectiveness of competitive activities of qualified weightlifters. Successful adaptation of an athlete to physical exertion, his attitude to training and competitive activities are largely determined by the nature of the emotional sphere that motivates the search for new approaches, means and methods of physical self-improvement, increasing sports achievements. The authors developed a method for that to form the emotional and volitional potential of qualified weightlifters at the age of 17–19. As the psycho-emotional sphere is formed, its influence on the nature of performing structural elements of training and competitive exercises increases and closer connections are established between them. The choice of effective means and methods of the training process that ensure the formation of a rational technique in accordance with the individual capabilities and abilities of the athlete creates prerequisites for satisfaction with the training process, which is the basis of the positive psycho-emotional state.

Practical Recommendations for Improving the Professional Performance of a Children’s Football Coach

The material for the study was the current situation in football in the Syrian Arab Republic. As established earlier, despite the popularity of this sport, the level of the football coaching staff in the republic remains low. The objective of the article is to develop practical recommendations for improving the professional activity of a children’s football coach. The article describes the principles of working with young footballers, gives recommendations to a football coach, including how to increase the motivation for training young footballers. The article provides recommendations for trainers taking into account the difference in the properties of their nervous system to improve their skills.

Using the example of studying at the Moscow Automobile and Road State Technical University (MADI), the paper examines the specifics of the content of the disciplines of the humanities cycle, in particular the integrated course “Russian language and the skill of business communication”. The course content is structured by topics, it combines materials from such disciplines as the Russian language, Speech culture, Public speaking and Communication psychology. The features of methodical classroom and extracurricular work during the study of the discipline are shown. SEARCHING FOR WAYS OF PROFESSIONAL SELF-DETERMINATION OF STUDENTS WHEN INTERACTING WITH A PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The article reveals the problem of professional self-determination of students in the conditions of network interaction with a pedagogical university when implementing the specialised training in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Standard of Secondary General Education. The article presents the system of work of summer schools, specialised schools, Academies for children, which are complementary to the training profiles implemented in partner schools (technological, natural-scientific, humanitarian, socio– economic, universal). The article analyses the system of professional self-determination of students, implemented at the Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University named after I.N. Ulyanov, in the context of network interaction with partner schools of the distributed lyceum. Monitoring procedures for identifying and evaluating the effectiveness of the network interaction of partner schools of the distributed lyceum within the framework of the project became the research methods. The planned result is a positive dynamics of graduates of specialised classes of partner schools of the distributed lyceum, who have decided to become future teachers.

PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF SPECIAL TRAINING IN SPORTS AEROBICS

High requirements in sports aerobics to the versatile special readiness of athletes (physical, technical and artistic) are determined by its significant influence on the results of competitive performances and on their high-quality performance. In gymnastics the process of sports training is understood as a unity of closely related components, the main component is the special physical and technical training of gymnasts. The conducted research summarizes the scientific and methodological material on the problem of optimising the process of special training in sports aerobics, aimed at a comprehensive increase in the level of performance skills of young gymnasts. The experimental methodology of special training is based on the complex use of integral training means such as special preparatory exercises, structurally similar to the main competitive components of sports aerobics, and training forms of competitive exercises. During the experiment the organizational and pedagogical conditions for increasing the effectiveness of the process of special training in sports aerobics at the stage of sports improvement were specified.

ORGANISING RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES WITH THE ELDERLY IN A HEALTH RESORT INSTITUTION

The article highlights the problem of increasing the number of the elderly people and, as a consequence, the problem of ensuring vigorous activity and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The authors of the article determine the potential of recreational activities for solving the social and psychological problems of the elderly. The article discusses the main definitions of the concepts of «recreation», «recreational activity», the characteristics of the socio-psychological characteristics. The article presents the results of an empirical study, during which the emotional state of the elderly, their sociopsychological adaptation and readiness to accept age-related changes were diagnosed. In addition, the article describes the results of the implemented program for organizing recreational activities with the elderly.

Success of Tutor Support of Project and Educational Research Activities of Students: Criteria and Diagnostic Tools

The article discusses the issues of organizing design and educational research activities of students using tutoring. The relevance of this topic is due to the need for high-quality implementation of the Federal State Educational Standards of General Education, which formulate the task of forming and developing design and research skills of students. The authors propose criteria and tools for diagnosing the success of tutor support, tested in pedagogical practice, cite the results of diagnostics, testifying to the positive influence of tutor support on the formation of schoolchildren’s internal motives and a steady interest in design and research, on the improvement of students’ skills in choosing a topic and formulating a project and research problem, on an increase in the quality of finished works. The article was prepared on the basis of research materials carried out in 2018–2021 in Ulyanovsk Gymnasium No. 34.
