The authors, analyzing the philosophical concepts of M. Heidegger and their interpretations by architectural theorists, outline the understanding of architecture in the phenomenological tradition. The purpose of this work is to identify those meanings of architecture that are overlooked in the positivist picture of the world. The article examines the phenomenological concepts that reveal the importance of architecture as a link between man and the environment: architecture as the creation of «places», architecture as a built «thing», architecture as a work of art. The relevance of the topic is justifi ed by the urgent need to reunite architecture with the human life world.

I dispute the claim that the disclosure of the life-world by phenomenology is an accomplishment of 'permanent' significance. By briefly reviewing the meaning of the "world" and "life-world" in the writings of Husserl, Gurwitsch, Schutz-Luckmann, Ortega, Heidegger, Jonas, Straus, Sartre and Merleau-Ponty, I show that they all treat the world, or rather the affairs which comprise it, as passively present whether viewed as a mental acquisition or as the "Other." But the meaning of the world-as that wherein are met physical demands upon us which must be satisfied if we are to continue living-cannot be considered either as a mental acquisition or as something that is "other" and over against us. A living being as living cannot fail to attend to the agency of the affairs of which the life-world consists, as well as one's own exploring and coping actions. If we are to really speak of life, then we must acknowledge the mutual and reciprocal activities of living beings and world.

Beginnings are usually regarded as either hard or energizing times that set our inner world in motion. However, there is a beginning that is more important for humanity than any other: the origin of human life and of the world. The knowledge of our origin and the mystery concerning the beginning of the world have been the most intriguing and most engaging issues since man became aware of their own physical and spiritual existence. For many centuries, it was the duty of religion to provide humanity with a teaching about their origin and the foundation of human dignity. However, the 18th and 19th centuries were critical in the treatment of the biblical creation stories in Europe. The debate between misinterpreted creation myth accounts and scientific theories led to a sharpening confrontation between religion and science, but it also divided the believers and resulted in the birth of new theories. Emanuel Swedenborg, an influential theologist of the period, wrote detailed commentaries and genuine tractates related to the topic that influenced the ideology and art of William Blake, a versatile and ingenious artist and thinker of the era, whose influence is still significant today. The aim of this study is to highlight the parallels and contrasts between Blake’s Genesis myth and Swedenborg’s teachings, mainly through the unusual pairing of The [First] Book of Urizen and The Last Judgment, to show the connection between Swedenborg’s unorthodox views and Blake’s ideas about the creation of man and the world.

Take a picture without using a camera is no longer an impossible thing. The existence of other alternatives to creating a work of art without using a camera is a transformation from an old idea. Before photography developed, in the era of analog photography taking picture without using a camera was called a photogram. However, in the digital photography era could have been created using a tool called a scanner. The creation of this photographic work is often referred to as scanography stands for scanners photography, also known as scanner-art. Both of these techniques produce a work of art without using a camera, but the working principle of the photography still uses light. In the creation of final project, scanography was introduced as a new expression media in the world of photography. The visuals produced from the scanography technique show details of objects such as macro photography as a manifestation of the closeness between objects and feelings to be conveyed through a work. Feelings like fear, happiness, sadness, dreams are represented by flowers. The object of interest is used as a manifestation of the artist's identity as a woman and the feelings experienced in her life. Using objects around as a signs and symbols that are familiar to be combined into a work strengthens the meaning and feeling that is being experienced. The explorations are also inseparable from the photography techniques and the composition of photography to form an interesting visual.

The notion of concretization introduced by Roman Ingarden in his seminal work The Literary Work of Art makes the reader the one responsible for the creation of the literary work of art as an aesthetic object. Prior to the act of reading, “the work itself,” in Ingarden’s analysis, is a structure of various strata: the stratum of verbal sounds, the stratum of meaning units, the stratum of schematized aspects, and the stratum of represented objectivities. The reader concretizes the work, turning the schematic formation into an accomplished aesthetic object. Concretization is accomplished by adding determinations to the schemata of the text on all strata. By way of their psychic operations readers fill in places of indeterminacy and establish the world of the literary work of art. Wolfgang Iser takes up Ingarden’s concept of places of indeterminacy to develop his own position. Iser recasts the concept of indeterminacy in the form of gaps or “blanks” which allow for more functions and forms than those stated in Ingarden’s analysis. For Ingarden, the process of reading moves in one direction: from the real world to the imaginary (intentional) world. For Iser the process of reading is two-directional: the reader fills in the blanks of the imaginary world using the memory traces collected in his or her mind that derive from the life-world. An attempt to clarify the main points of Ingarden’s phenomenology of reading, may, therefore, elucidate Iser’s contribution. In addition, the notion of concretization has seen many criticisms (R. Wellek, G. Poulet, S. Fish, D. Barnouw among others), and the topic deserves renewed attention.

Abstract - Diversity is a necessity that cannot be separated from human life. In order to maintain the harmony of life in this diversity, peace must be fought for by all parties, one of which is through peace education. The goal of peace education is to produce people who are wise and able to position themselves through a process of strengthening moderation. This research is based on Johan Galtung's thoughts with his concept of "peace" and "violence" which is a reference for the creation of resolution and post-conflict. This research uses qualitative methods with literature studies through various reference sources, both from books, journals, official websites, and so on. The implementation of Johan Galtung's thoughts in peace education is expected to foster self-discipline and produce individuals who are not only able to interpret peace, create conflict resolution, are able to position themselves in every problem, but also lead to a transformative and lasting peace, without ignoring the presence of violence that will lead to peace. always present as peace is born. This is what is currently needed, especially for the world of journalism which is closely related to the flow and battle of information. With this peace education, it is hoped that a journalist can make decisions to produce journalistic work that is able to reconcile, be balanced, and even become a solution effort to produce transformation and conflict resolution.

The article is a description of Rimas Kociunas’ seminar “The picture of human life and the therapeutic process: the introduction of an existential psychotherapist”, held in Moscow from February 13 to 16, 2020. The seminar was devoted to the study of the basic philosophical principles of existential psychotherapy on which work with a client is based. A specificity of existential therapy is the lack of specific technical methods and methods of working with a client, therefore the content of therapeutic work is determined by a particular vision of a person and his problems. From the point of view of existential therapists, the personality is in constant interaction with the world, the result of which is continuous formation; therefore, instead of studying the qualities and structures of the personality, one should study its life world and ways of building relationships with reality.

Perhaps there is no better time to reflect on the new creation than now, amid the Covid-19 pandemic. All aspects of human life are being impacted by the pandemic, not to mention the danger of death that it generates. This critical situation brings out legitimate questions to the current state of the world (or creation): whether it is perishing, being abandoned by God, or whether God is punishing the world into destruction due to its abundance of sin. Attempting to answer those questions, the author will argue alongside Kuyper and Bavinck that God would never abandon nor destroy his creation. Even though corrupted by sin, God has no intention to destroy the creation; instead, he intends to restore it according to his original plan. God’s intention is not just to redeem the elect but to redeem the whole creation, and that complete redemption will find its fulfillment in the new creation. Such a reflection would encourage the Christian proclamation that God’s salvation extends to all creation.

Anthropocentrism has received many challenges since the publication of the famous article by Lynn White, Jr. in 1967. Yet, since then there has been no significant changes with regard to human attitude towards nature. Human beings still perceive nature as their tool whose existence is to serve their own interests. When the COVID-19 pandemic hits the world, the anthropocentrism is once again challenged. It should be a good opportunity to change the anthropocentrism. The novel corona virus has made people look powerless. It is just a tiny thing, but it has caused a great impact on human life. Despite the fact that the virus often outsmarts human beings, there is no sign that human beings want to admit their weakness. Through reading some biblical stories: the creation of human beings, the naming of animals, Job and the lamb in the Book of Revelation this article wants to deconstruct the view that sees human beings as superior to others in nature. This reading will use posthumanism as theory. It will allow us to see in the stories that human can be subjugated to animals.

Kamasutra is seen by Hindus as an important book to guide human ethical life. This text beautifully describes the intimacy process of a pair of humans. An outline of the beliefs of Hinduism is love. Hinduism believes that the process of intimacy portrays a high human existence. The teachings are contained in the statue in the Dalem Purwa Temple where the statue depicting sex has a very deep meaning; these statues are not pornographic statues. But as a symbol of the merging of Lord Shiva’s strength with Dewi Parwati (Durga). It can also be interpreted as a symbol of the merging of Kama Bang with Kama Petak (Purusha with Pradhana). Where, there is a union of Shiva symbolized by Lingga with Parvati symbolized by Yoni that is where happiness arises, the emergence of prosperity, and prosperity. When kama bang (egg cell) with kama petak (sperm) meets resulting in fertilization that causes happiness and gives birth to a life of harmony. The meaning of philosophy is poured into statues with the scene of having sex as a symbol of unification. In Hindu sexuality is seen as sacred in human life because it is implicitly contained in purusartha chess teachings, namely dharma, artha, kama, and moksa. One of the goals of human life is the fulfillment of lust or desire (kama) which encourages people to do something, which makes people passionate in this life. One form of kama is fulfillment of sexual needs. The union of Lingga and Yoni gave birth to something new, namely creation. The combination of linga and yoni symbolizes the creation of the world and fertility.
