This article addresses the issues of the genesis of non-violence and the practical application of non-violent practices in the context of modern realities. The phe-nomenon of non-violence is seen in close connection with violence, which is more often reflected in the form of wars, military clashes, and conflicts. The article pro-vides an analysis of the use of non-violent practices and the possibility of develop-ing peacekeeping in public opinion and behavior. During the preparation of this article, a review and comparative study of various literature aimed at studying non-violence were carried out. Together with the philosophical works, various ma-terials of a political science character are studied. In preparing this work, they were used as general theoretical methods, such as analysis and synthesis. At the same time, analogies, systematization, etc. were used. The materials of the article sug-gest practical significance for university teachers of humanitarian/philosophical specialties.

The aim of the research is to determine the theoretical and practical significance of the reviews on natural sciences terminology dictionaries. The object of the research is a system of parametric measurements of terminology dictionaries, the subject is critical remarks on the structural parameters representation of terminology dictionaries. The research material is the texts of the reviews published during the late XXth and the early XXIst centuries. Тhe following methods were used: lexicographic analysis of the dictionary parameters, the quantitative analysis and the comparative one. As a result of the research, it is determined that throughout the analyzed period the experts focus on definition and translation dictionaries as well as reference dictionaries. Most remarks are made to the dictionaries of the early XXIst century. The potential importance of practical application of the results is to improve the theoretical and methodological principles and means of terminology dictionaries creation, as well as their use to develop new (combined) type that comprehensively represent the vocabulary of a particular branch of science. Conclusions: 1) the critical comments on professional definition dictionaries relate to such of their parameters as: ‘introduction / preface’, ‘encyclopedia information’, ‘dictionary register’, ‘definition’, ‘list of references’; 2) translation definition dictionaries have quantitative drawbacks regarding the representation of such structural parameters: ‘dictionary register’, ‘translation area’, ‘definition’; 3) to the parameters of reference dictionaries the following critical comments are made: to replace the title loan term by the normative term; to add the ‘accent characteristic’ parameter; to match the title terms with their definitions etc. Theoretical and practical significance of the reviews on terminology dictionaries gives the possibility to systematize the drawbacks revealed by critics in the representation of structural parameters of such publications, for the purpose to improve the fundamental theoretical and methodological foundations of metaterminography and the practical realization of high-quality works.

Transport development bring a negative impact on human survival ecological environment, such as destruction of vegetation, air pollution, soil erosion and other environmental issues. The actuality proves that the use of tunnel development of underground space can improve traffic quality, while also protecting the environment. Therefore, tunnel engineering and utilization of underground space are to protect the ecological environment to be effective ways for realizing economic sustainable development of economy. In this paper, based on the practical application at home and abroad, for the big cities, mountain areas, river waters, the suitability evaluation and beneficial discussion about the transportation by using tunnel to protect the ecological environment are of great practical significance to protect and improve the ecological environment.

The article is devoted to the actual problem of assessing the effectiveness of consulting methods. Management consulting is a developing sphere of human activity. The technique of an estimation of efficiency of methods of organizational diagnostics is offered. The research was based on the problem of assessing the effectiveness of diagnostic methods in consulting using only economic indicators. According to the methodology, during the evaluation, the effectiveness of methods is is assessed in the light of costs and results, both should be similarly broken down into a number of elements. These elements were to be evaluated by experts. To confirm the validity of the results obtained, statistical indicators are used: variance of a random variable, standard deviation and coefficient of variation, which confirm (or disprove) the results of an expert poll.To approbate the methodology, a survey of experts elected among employees of consulting companies in Omsk was conducted. The survey data was analyzed. Based on the results of the analysis, the validity of the obtained survey results and the possibility of their practical application was concluded. The practical significance of the study is that it is possible to apply the methodology of interviewing experts in practice. The purpose of such surveys will be a regular reassessment and identification of the need for specific consulting methods for certain methods of organizational diagnostics.

This work is devoted to the creation of a system for the automatic collection and processing of open data in Kazakh from Internet resources, and bears practical significance in the tasks of collecting and analyzing text. The introduction substantiates the relevance of the chosen topic, a review of existing approaches, formulates the objectives of the study. We consider such a problem as the collection and primary processing of text data with subsequent analysis. Data collection is a priority, since open data from Internet resources is not structured and needs to be processed. The authors provide a system for processing web pages of Kazakh-language portals, and also gives practical application of this approach to real data of open resources using the created system. The approach of indexing documents using features is presented. The system will help structure open data from Internet resources, as well as analyze collected data. Practical results are presented

According to the lower shaft structure feature of a pneumatic and mechanical agitation flotation machine in the practical application, a finite element model is established on the basis of modality analytical theory of vibration structure. Through analyzing the modality characteristics of the lower shaft, the vibration mode of lower shaft is obtained. Moreover, through analyzing the modal characteristics of the lower shaft in condition of different impellers material and lower hollow shaft wall thickness, the conclusion is obtained that more lighter the impeller’ material is, more great the difference between natural frequencies and vibration excitation frequencies is. Another conclusion is that the lower shaft still do not resonate when the wall thickness of lower shaft thin appropriately. The conclusions of this paper have great theoretical and practical significance of further optimization of the flotation machine lower shaft structure.

In the light of the recently adopted new Russian and international standards in accounting and tax accounting, significant changes in the regulation of lease accounting have been made. Unfortunately, the newly adopted rules are not always ideal in terms of their practical application. The article is devoted to a critical analysis of the regulations of the international standard IFRS (IFRS) 16 “Lease” and the Russian standard FSBU25/2018 “Lease Accounting.” The methodological basis of the study includes a critical analysis of the new requirements for accounting for lease transactions in the systems of Russian and international standards in terms of their validity, logic and completeness. The result of the study is the justification of the presence of both positive and problematic aspects in the innovations introduced in the regulation of accounting for leases in IFRS16 and in the Russian standard FSBU25/2018. Recommendations have been made to address the problematic issues of lease accounting and reporting information. The theoretical and practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using its results in the preparation of new and improved existing accounting regulations in the process of its further development at the national and international levels.

Subject. This article presents an analysis of the essence of financial policy as a factor of effective development of companies. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the implemented financial policy of companies is a significant scientific and practical problem. It determines the choice of the main criteria used to calculate the financial policy effectiveness. Objectives. The article aims to develop a comprehensive methodology for assessing the effectiveness of financial policy of companies in modern conditions, and define criteria for its evaluation. Methods. The Due Diligence approach is the basis for solving the research tasks: comparing the current standards and methods for assessing the financial policy of companies and simplifying its implementation through the proposed method of multivariate coefficient analysis. Results. The article offers a comprehensive approach to assessing the effectiveness of financial policy, considering electric power companies as a case study. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the use to increase the investment attractiveness of companies that are considered as potential investment objects. Conclusions. The research proposes a methodology for assessing the financial policy of companies based on a multivariate, customizable system of financial coefficients. An indicator of the effectiveness of financial policy of companies was calculated. It can be recommended for practical application. The obtained results of evaluating the effectiveness of financial policy can be used by the companies’ management to make management decisions, investors to choose the best investment option, market participants to rank companies by efficiency, and determine industry benchmarks.

This paper deals with issues related to the development and practical application of adaptive pulse-arc welding in the manufacture and repair of metal for critical applications. Created methods of adaptive pulsed arc welding into account the results of studies of the kinetics of melting and transfer of electrode metal into the weld pool, which is of great theoretical and practical significance. These methods ensure defect-free formation of root, fill and cap welds in manufacturing steel in different spatial position.

During the past two days we have seen how well the study of human population combines the interests of the founders both of modern demography and of the Royal Society. We have had abundant evidence that the study of population organizes the materials of the natural and social sciences in ways that give them both scientific and practical significance. The programme, I suspect, would have given our predecessors satisfaction, for the organizers of this Society, and of its daughter organizations around the world, were not just detached scholars of academic halls. Nature was to be studied for its beauty, of course, but also for the service of man. The practical implications of science for society, the economy, and the body politic were not considered inappropriate for the inner temple of science. They were drawn without apology; occasionally they were even correctly drawn. Perhaps I am overimpressed by the pragmatic stream in the Royal Society’s early work because I am most familiar with Franklin's interests. Both in this Society, and in its daughter organization, The American Philosophical Society, * his emphasis was always on careful observation, limited generalization, and practical application. The dividing line in the early histories of both our societies was not that between the natural and the social sciences, or between science and action. If there was a division it was between science and a system-building kind of social philosophy.
