This article addresses such an important and topical topic as the formation of a digital culture of student youth in leisure centers. It describes the role that the digital structure in the life of students plays, the role necessary for successful academic and future professional activity, and determines the role of digital culture in the life of a modern young man. We address the importance of organizing digital leisure activities by specialized institutions, as well as the need to improve the digital literacy of today’s youth.

<p><span lang="EN-US">The Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated the process of human migration from the real world to the virtual world (cyber). One of the impacts is the emergence of the phenomenon of cyber religion. As one of the parties responsible for literacy of its citizens in this regard, the government, through the role of the Ministry of Communication and Information, then initiated the National Digital Literacy Program, which is based on four pillars, namely: digital safety, digital skills, digital ethics, and digital culture. In dealing with the cyber religion phenomenon, the four pillars only reinforce the interobjective space. Therefore, to complete it, this research uses the theoretical framework of Ken Wilber's Universal Integralism or Holonic Integralism, which integrates four dimensions of "space" integrally, namely: intersubjective, interobjective, subjective, and objective space. In his findings, the researcher offers the concept of Integral Digital Philosophy, which integrates the four spaces simultaneously. The implications of this finding are beneficial for the provision of religious preachers about the importance of integrating the awareness of the "four worlds" when preaching in cyberspace.</span></p>

his article discusses the role of digital literacy as a digital strategy policy goal in Canada. It reviews previous framings of digital literacy and suggests how they could be broadened to avoid an overly superficial treatment of Canadians’ negotiation of digital culture and policymaking.Ce commentaire discute l’habileté numérique comme objectif politique au Canada. Il passe en revue des perspectives antérieures sur l’habileté numérique et suggère comment on pourrait dorénavant aborder celle-ci afin d’éviter un traitement trop superficiel des négociations canadiennes en matière de culture et politique numériques.

The article considers urgent problem of modern society – progressive increase in the number of people infected with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Epidemiological characteristics of the pathogen are given, clinical signs of the disease and a modern strategy aimed at reducing the number of infected people are presented. The role of specialists with secondary medical education in the implementation of the Strategy aimed at combating the spread of HIV infection epidemic in the Russian Federation is emphasized.

Relevance. The role of pediatric dentistry in younger generation health improvement is undeniable; therefore, developing pediatric dental service is an important health care issue.Purpose. To present the contribution of Lubov Sergeevna Litovkina to paediatric dental service development in connection with her death on December, 23, 2019.Materials and methods. Based on the analysis of professional activity and scientific works of L.S. Litovkina the achievements that have contributed to the development of pediatric dentistry service in Volgograd Region were identified.Results. Public, clinical and scientific activities of L.S. Litovkina were highlighted. Special attention was paid to such areas of her work as the organization of epidemiological dental examinations of children’s population, the implementation of milk fluoridation program for prevention of dental caries in preschool children, school dentistry improvement and applying the dental educational program for the elementary schoolchildren.Conclusions. The organizational and scientific activities of L.S. Litovkina contributed to the development of the paediatric dental service and oral health improvement of children’s population.

We conclude the Handbook of Digital Technology and Society by identifying topics that appear in multiple chapters, are more unique to some chapters, and that represent general themes across the material. Each of these is considered separately for the ESRC theme chapters and the non-ESRC chapters. In the ESRC theme chapters, cross-cutting research topics include digital divides and inequalities; data and digital literacy; governance, regulation, and legislation; and the roles and impacts of major platforms. Cross-cutting challenges include methods; theory development, testing, and evaluation; ethics; big data; and multi-platform/holistic studies. Gaps include policy implications, and digital culture. In the non-ESRC chapters, more cross-cutting themes include future research and methods; technology venues; relationships; content and creation; culture and everyday life; theory; and societal effects. More unique, these were digitization of self; managing digital experience; names for the digital/social era; ethics; user groups; civic issues; health, and positive effects. The chapter also shows how the non-ESRC chapters may be clustered together based on their shared themes and subthemes, identifying two general themes of more micro and more macro topics. The identification of both more and less common topics and themes can provide the basis for understanding the landscape of prior research, what areas need to be included in ongoing research, and what research areas might benefit from more attention. The chapter ends with some recommendations for such ongoing and future research in the rich, important, and challenging area of digital technology and society.

Social isolation has become a growing issue, particularly among older citizens. The ‘digital divide’ has been identified as one of the contributing factors leaving many older citizens behind. While increasing digital literacy among seniors has been identified as one of the remedies, less attention has been paid to the role of news media on the wellbeing and connectedness of older people. Through the lens of the uses and gratifications theory, this article reports on the findings of a survey of 562 news consumers aged 50 years and above who live in Canberra, the capital city of Australia. The analysis highlights the important role of news in reducing feelings of social isolation, particularly for those who spend more time alone and older people with cognitive impairment. Older participants who had difficulty concentrating and learning new tasks were also more dependent on news. We suggest this is due to the habitual, predictable and concise nature of news. These findings contribute to our understanding of the role of news in the wellbeing of older people and point to the need for policymakers and those in the aged care sector to ensure access to news for older citizens to improve the quality of life.

The article is devoted to the current problem of the shortage of qualified labor in the Federal Republic of Germany and the question of whether the country's economy is acquiring potential specialists for the labor market from among immigrants. The author emphasizes that without successful integration of immigrants, it is impossible not only to acquire human capital for the country's economy, but also there is a real threat to state security in Germany. The article examines what qualities or system of qualities immigrants should acquire in order to increase the level of professional activity component of their ability to integrate into the host country's society, specifies the goals of pedagogical communication in this process and the importance of the adoption of the Skilled Workers Immigration Act (Fachkräfteeinwanderungsgesetz). The author comes to the conclusion that the professional and activity component formed by the immigrant demonstrates its full integration into the business world and multicultural society of Germany.
