This paper presents the phenomenon that develops in society, related to the existence of religious commodification in business, namely the labeling of "Syari'ah" as a medium to attract customer loyalty in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. The labeling of "Syari'ah" is used as a strategy by industry players by utilizing religion as a selling value to get attention from consumers. Religion is exploited, explored and used as a commodity by the community to take advantage. Kopotren Basmalah as the research site is present as one of the real applications of the pesantren Sidogiri which wants to become a boarding school capable of competing in the world of economy. Pesantren Sidogiri modifies the science of religion and economics to give birth to a sharia-based retail company. A phenomenon that develops in this business, religion is used as a media or tool to sell products from the business. This study uses a qualitative method with phenomenology. The results show that the public perception of the branding of "syari'ah" conducted by the Basmalah copontren namely; loyal oriented customer, performing image, santri entrepreneurship, a place for social piety and debating beliefs in the business of buying and selling.

This study aims to see the potential of students in digital literacy transformation entering the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 at the Modern Muhammadiyah Boarding School Sleman Islamic Boarding School, Yogyakarta. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation and interviews with 10 students. The results of this study found that students have mastered the technology of digital literacy transformation of students in the potential of mastering digital literacy. This is because Islamic boarding schools still limit the length of time they use technology. Although this pesantren has used modern pesantren. Pesantren leaders must balance religious education with technology so that graduates are not less competitive when they enter tertiary institutions and the world of work. For future researchers, it will be deeper in digging up information and using more samples.

A realistic perception of the condition of forests, and the attributes of the forestry sector, by the public constitutes one of the basic prerequisites for successful implementation of forest policy in any country. Although data objectively demonstrate that the condition of Czech forests has improved, opinion polls show a gap between the public perception of the condition of Czech forests and the real status of these forests. The reasons for the discrepancy between reality and the perception of the public, and between the results of different surveys, are analysed. The most significant differences were found in perceptions of damage and threats to forests. The effectiveness of communication about forest policy is discussed, and some ways to create more effective communication are examined.

This article aims to determine how important the vocational skill education for students in the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School of Kersamanah Garut. The background of this research is that ideally the person who was educated both formal and non-formal schools at least have the skills of life that it faces, especially in the world of work. In fact there are a lot of unemployment among educated either issued by the formal and non-formal education is still unused and still many educational institutions interventioned with offices and civil service, and there are still doubts in the world of work on the output issued boarding. Therefore it is necessary to study "Education Vocational Skills (Case Study In Darusaalam Islamic Boarding School Kersamanah Garut)", This study aims to describe and analyze the development of vocational skills in applied as future supplies students. It uses the method to achieve the goal of research is to reserch descriptive qualitative method. Data retrieval is done by interview, observation and documentation. Results from this study showed that the Darussalam Islamic Boarding school is a boarding school that equip students with vocational skills through extra-curricular activities in the form of education life skills oriented vocational education skills such as : organizational and clerical schools , or in the form of a course in which there are education vocational skills such as : automotive , sewing and culinary art , or other training by bringing in trainers from outside schools , in order to motivate students to become productive graduates who are able to enter public life line

<span>This research aimed to find out the public perception of the use of financial technology (Fintech). The informant in this research is the citizen of Medan as a user fintech or not. Data collection techniques by using in-depth interviews to 10 informants with different ages and professions background. The analysis technique by using descriptive qualitative method that is useful to provide facts and data. The result shows that public perception toward the use of financial technology (fintech) includes attitude, interest, understanding, motivation, and expectation. Where attitude of society towards the use of fintech, providing support to the progress of financial technology innovation in Indonesia is very helpful for the community, while the public interest to use fintech has been proven from interviews 9 out of 10 respondents have been interested by using it. The society has understood the benefits and usage of fintech because using fintech is more efficient and effective than other financial services so that people are motivated to use fintech. The society hope to the organizers of fintech in order to provide socialization to the public and practicality in using the service, so that people who lack understanding of technology can use it easily.</span>

This study discusses about using archives in neighbourhood organization. Three sub-main issues discussed about public perception of archives, archive management and using archives for neighbourhood organizational activities. neighbourhood organization is a community customary institution under the sub-district or village. The act Repulic of Indonesia number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages states that the neighbourhood organization is in charge of assisting village governance and a partner in empowering village communities. This study uses a qualitative method because it is able to examine more deeply the subject matter and information. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The research focus was neighbourhood organization number 18/04, Legok Village, Legok District, Tangerang Regency. The results showed that the perception of the residents of RT 18/04 about archives was good, but it was not followed by the management of archives in the neighbourhood organization number 18/04 which was not optimal because of the lack of facilities and infrastructure, the capacity of human resources in managing archives and there is not standard of managing archives. The neighbourhood organization number 18/04 has archives of primary use value, it is administrative value, financial value , legal value and archives of secondary value. Using archives in the neighbourhood organization number 18/04 as a basis for decision making, accountability to the public, information on higher-level government policies, and straightening out hoax information.

This research was conducted to analyze and describe the application of Sufistic culture to moral elevation in the formation of moral elevation of students at the Putra Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School in Jombang, East Java. The location of the study was carried out by the Islamic boarding school male Tebuireng Jombang. The research method used is a qualitative method using descriptive analysis and triangulation techniques. The research respondents consisted of 30 people aged 16-24 years. The results showed that the application of Sufistic culture to the moral elevation of male students and the formation of moral elevation in the world of pesantren education needed a consistent process and support from all parties. namely the creed, sharia, and morals as a support for the occurrence of moral elevation.

The availability of depleted oil reserves has made world oil prices soar. Consequently, the fuel subsidy swells. Facing this situation, the Government made a policy of converting kerosene to LPG gas. The methodology used in this study is descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews and observations in the community by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using reduction, display and verification techniques. The results of the study show: 1) The public perception regarding the conversion of kerosene to LPG gas is quite good. 2) The attitude of the community towards the conversion of kerosene to LPG gas is predominantly in the good category. 3) Community participation in the conversion of kerosene to LPG gas has a dominant distribution in the high enough category. Abstract Background: Illicit drug use among adolescents has become a public health concern which cuts across all social strata. This study explored the public perception of factors that influence illicit drug use among adolescents in Owerri, Nigeria.Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional research design was used for the study. The study adopted a mixed-method approach comprising quantitative and qualitative methods and was carried out in Owerri metropolis of Imo State, Nigeria. The research instruments used for data collection were questionnaires and in-depth interview guide. The target population comprised adults 18 years and above residing in the area of interest at the time of the study. For the qualitative method, a total of 10 communities were selected randomly by balloting and availability sampling was employed in the selection of respondents. Respondents for the qualitative method were purposively selected.Results: Our quantitative study found that 50.7% of the respondents, from across the three areas in Owerri metropolis, asserted that peer influence, emotional problems, relationship problems, wanting to feel ‘high’ are factors influencing adolescent consumption of illicit drugs whereas the qualitative study found family background, unique experience such as the death of a loved one, affliction or misfortune as factors influencing adolescents’ illicit drug use. The quantitative results showed that persons with a higher level of education are more likely than those with a lower level of education to perceive a significant difference in drug use between in – school and out – of – school adolescents.Conclusions: Peer influence, emotional problems, relationship problems, the influence of media (especially the social media), among several other identified reasons are perceived by the public as factors that influence adolescents’ use of illicit drugs. As a means to curb some of these factors, the communities, schools and universities should formulate contextual policies policies to prevent drug use and should also hold seminars for parents and families to alert them early to the symptoms of drug use in their children.

<p>There are some Indonesian local wisdom that have not been promoted yet. Consequently, some people will not access them due to less promotion. Hence, Indonesian should keep all of the local wisdoms in appropriate ways. One of the ways is by using promotion the local wisdom through youtube. This paper explores the promotion of Indonesian local wisdom through social media particularly YouTube and the values of local wisdom. It used a qualitative method. Data were primarily collected through documentation of eight videos created and uploaded into YouTube by the students in the department of Islamic broadcasting and communication from the fifth semester at state Islamic Institute of Kudus. The result reveals that social media have been beneficial for promoting the local wisdom especially in Central Java. Indeed, social media offers flexibility and mobility for people in uploading the videos of Indonesian local wisdom into YouTube, it offers an opportunity to expand the Indonesian local wisdom through widespread social networking around the world and fostering their innovation of making amazing videos and contents. The values of local wisdom include beliefs and religion, Indonesian local culture and traditions, local food promotion and business production, Indonesian architecture and heritage, nature and environment preservation.</p>

AbstractThis research examines the perception of inheritance law in the transmigration community. Given that in social life, transmigration communities are multicultural, consisting of various ethnic groups and their respective cultural patterns, which come from their place, environment and social conditions of origin. Including the issue of inheritance law in the transmigration area which has its own uniqueness. The purpose of this research is to obtain information related to people's perceptions of inheritance law that applies in accordance with the customs and traditions of society. This study used a descriptive qualitative method, with a sociological approach to the perception of the transmigration community. The results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the public perception of inheritance, namely assets that are distributed before the heir dies by means of deliberation to obtain consensus which is witnessed by the family and divided by appointment of inheritance to the heirs.Keywords: Inheritance Law; Transmigration Community; Inheritance Perception.
