This is the first study to investigate the psychosocial impact of demonetization of 2016 in India in two opposing strata of women in the context of their social backgrounds. It provides valuable insights into the social behavior of women before, during, and after demonetization. It attempts to analyze the reasons behind the observed social behavior as well. This study demonstrates that irrespective of the social strata, difficulties encountered by women in the aftermath of demonetization were similar in the community surveyed but responses appeared to be dictated by social background and awareness. In addition, this study underscores a need for greater awareness creation with respect to various social schemes launched by the government among the women, particularly those working in unorganized sector for their greater financial inclusion.

E-Government delivers services into inhabitant electronically, action, and another government existence. This is analogous to document centric approach in traditional service delivery by the government.  One of the most crucial factor regarding the reliability of government services is the security factor, which eventually leads to the social acceptance and satisfaction. E-Government is now a day is the response to the rapid development in the information technology especially in the automation of the process of service delivery. The model introduced by this paper is built over the social behavior of entities that shares the knowledge and provides decision-making baselines. Each entity is capturing its own knowledge and crystalize it with other entities within the communities. In this paper JAVA Agents where built to represent the individuals, which are attached to certain interaction points, for example each intelligent agent is attached to a web site representing the source of knowledge and behavior capture. Results proven that the social behavior of the software intelligent agent is a huge potential toward establishing social acceptance due to the smart behavior in collecting information regarding the utilization of the service, Three sites have been built along the implementation of paper to pursue its hypothesis; this is to represent government web sites deliver certain services and over which an intelligent agent is attached to capture the behavior of users and later on broadcast captured knowledge to other agents (i.e., the community is composed of four agents). The knowledge and expertise have been mutually exchanged and the overall knowledge has been proven to be converged toward the maximum experienced Agent.

Various development studies interested in children's and adolescents' comprehension of social organization and social inequality, have investigated their conceptions about occupations and the social hierarchy and class levels they imply. Nevertheless, little is known concerning their comprehension about occupational hierarchy related to what adults in distinct occupations are able to consume and save. The aim of this study was to analyze this comprehension in order to understand the development of concepts that interweave in children's and adolescents' societal and economic knowledge. 210 subjects between 6 and 16 years of age from urban and rural social backgrounds were sampled. They were individually interviewed with a task about what four persons with distinct occupations consume and save. Subjects' arguments were analyzed and from them, types of answers and categories were elaborated and quantified. The results show age and social background differences related to what subjects think about types of consumption and saving for the occupations that were studied.

Local council members have become an important research issue in many countries. However, the research on the social backgrounds of local council members has not enough progressed. This study analyzed the social backgrounds of local council members in Korea elected from 1991 to 2014. For the analysis, this study used gender, age, education, occupation, and political party affiliation and also used the index of qualitative variation to understand the social backgrounds of Korean local councilors. The results showed that social backgrounds of Korean local council members are centered on male, 50s, highly educated, people with political experience, and affiliated to two major parties. The gender diversity of local council members is lowest in comparison with other social background factors. To increase the gender diversity of local council members, the election system should be reformed, and social perception towards female politicians should be improved.

The gade clean and gold program applies the triple bottom line principle by prioritizing balance and harmony in the economic, environmental, and social aspects, namely “separating waste and saving gold”. Through the gade clean and gold program, PT. Pegadaian seeks to carry out sustainable community development activities to reduce poverty and social injustice, improve environmental conditions, and assist the government in waste management. The gade clean and gold corporate social responsibility (CSR) program seek to build public awareness to save the environment from pollution, especially waste, and the global save the earth program. The purpose of this study is to describe how CSR as a social program can increase the financial inclusion of gold savings and realize a sustainable green economy. This study uses the paradigm used is constructivism and a mixed-method approach. The results of this study indicate that gade clean and gold can realize a sustainable green economy. On the pillar of commitment to the environment, this activity has helped reduce visible environmental problems, namely the waste problem. The social pillar shows that this program can mobilize the community to increase their social capacity. On the economic pillar, this program can increase financial inclusion, especially in gold savings-investment products.

AbstractIn the present social sciences it is an unsettled problem, whether the centre of social theory concerning the SAINT SIMONism lies in industrialism or in the “religious” system. In the MARXian theory SAINT-SIMON is the direct “speaker of the working class” only in his final religious period. This thesis we have to examine in the survey presented here. The methodical way of our analysis is that of the sociology of knowledge: how the system of SAINT-SIMON’S social ideas becomes relative against the historical and social background, represented by the SAINT-SIMONists. On this methodical way we have to elucidate the sociological process of social behavior and religiousness, of belief and pragmatism in the movement of SAINT-SIMONism.Our study dicides that the MARXian thesis is right: sociological systems remain in the sphere of scientific abstraction, speculative religiousness, and social utopism so long as the working class is not yet emancipated and free for the formation of a new society.

A commonly accepted definition of the democracy is; “Rule of the majority by the supreme power vested in the people and exercised by them directly”. The democratic government may remain in power until and unless people repose the confidence over it. In Pakistan the main reason of failure of the democracy is that, it is generally against the social behavior of Pakistan. Just because of this the democracy could not come around in Pakistan, yet people cannot be incriminated for the same. The history is witnessed that Pakistani people had supported all social movements having collective ambitions but unluckily after freedom no political party or leadership was available to Pakistanis which could do something for them. Soon after freedom bureaucrats had prevalence in the government due to this the overall control remained in the hands of Governor General or non-representatives. So, democratic institutions could not attain freedom from them. Undoubtedly from the beginning the Pakistan Army attained a dominating role in the system of government and in the field of politics and during the last 60 years they remained in rule for more than a half of the tenure and the political governments were never allowed to take any step freely. In the current scenario Pakistan should have to pass through a democratic way which was stopped by the Armed forces and bureaucracy by adopting different means.

The purpose of this study is to observe the similarities and differences between contemporary Chinese and Korean fashion designers in understanding the concept of national identity. To achieve this objective, the literature review and in-depth interview were conducted. The results are as follows: Firstly, the model that interprets the influence factors of designers’ awareness of national identity was built. Under the social background of national identity, including governmental role, features of culture, openness of social system and the international and economic status, features of fashion and fashion designers influence on national identity expressed in designers’ fashion works. Secondly, three main similarities between fashion designers’ awareness have been found. The first is that both Chinese and Korean fashion designers emphasize broader regional concept about national identity; the second is that influence of national identity is subtle and not obvious; the third is that fashion designers have mixed consciousness of self-identity and national identity. Thirdly, there are three main differences between Chinese and Korean fashion designers’ awareness. The first is that the adoption of ethnic national identity in fashion design is more related to the traditional ethnic elements in Chinese while modern elements were favored more by Korean. The second is that Chinese designers as a whole showed a deeper comprehension of traditional ethnic culture or philosophy than Korean designers do. The third is that more solid and positive attitude toward the government caused Chinese designers to have a more intensive civic national identity.

Public sector banks in India have always been viewed as vehicles of economic and social development. These institutions reach out to people of all sections across the country and offer banking services even if they have to compromise on profitability. Most of the social schemes for poverty alleviations, livelihood, skill development, financial inclusion, etc., are channelized through public sector banks. However, their capability is severely limited due to burgeoning non-performing assets. Considering the importance of public sector banks for the economy of the country, the government often recapitalizes them so that banks may survive the threat of closure. However, bank recapitalization serves as Band-Aid while the underlying sickness continues to spread. This article examines the policy concerns vis-à-vis bank recapitalization and suggests corrective pathways. Factors leading to unremitting capital erosion in banks have been diagnosed and efforts have been made to figure out why previous attempts at recapitalization have failed to strengthen and transform the banking system.

Introduction. The coronavirus has become a serious test for national and regional power and management systems. Many systems have demonstrated their effectiveness and flexibility, competence and coherence. But there were also cases when erroneous decisions were made at the regional and even national levels. The purpose of this article is to determine the main trends in changes in the social behavior of the city government and citizens of St Petersburg in the context of the coronavirus pandemic.Methodology and sources. The article is based on classical and modern theories of urban sociology, sociology of the formation and functioning of public spaces and public life in a modern city, data from urban statistics on COVID incidence and empirical observations. Results and discussion. From the very beginning, the city government of Saint Petersburg became the center of coordination and mobilization of all city resources to overcome the pandemic. However, it is not always possible to manage the available resources correctly and effectively. One of the reasons for the inefficient use of available resources was that the government did not define a strategy to combat the coronavirus pandemic from the very beginning. Decisions were made situationally, sometimes inconsistently. It is worth noting that, despite the restrictions imposed, the social behavior patterns of a significant part of citizens have not changed significantly, but have only been transformed into hybrid social practices.Conclusion. The study described the existing normative and hybrid models of social behavior of the government and citizens in the public space of the city in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, identified the most affected types of social relations (local-local) and local spaces (trade, entertainment, etc.) in which new social norms are most often violated.

The paper discusses a number of the most remarkable responses to the COVID‑19 pandemic and to the social isolation measures coming from several, mostly ultra‑Orthodox, Jewish communities in Israel, the United States, and Russia. It examines major elements of the crisis discourse, i.e., the hermeneutics of the causes and meanings of the pandemic; the affirmation of group borders and hierarchies as a result of the search for culprits; the relations between the religious community and the state; as well as the possible transformations of social behavior and ritual practices resulting from the crisis.
