The article investigates the publicity phenomenon in modern education as a moral-communicative discourse of a technogenic society. The study confirms that a person's identity falls under the manipulative influence and becomes the target of direct social and communicative coercion in the public environment. The educational environment includes a lot of public informatization. The article proves that educational media practices in public communications form certain public strategies such as the social organization of society, its socio-cultural norms, and values. The nature of these strategies is sometimes contrived, perfunctory and favorable for information confrontation, serves the only material interests and needs. The study proves that the concept of communicative competence of modern youth, which is constantly in a changing, information-saturated public environment, becomes especially important in the modern educational environment. It must have complex communication skills of social and public adaptation, techniques of effective interpersonal communication in which morality would not have a hidden nature, would not focus only on the physiologically-hidden nature of a person and would not invent surrogate identities. Such kind of publicity including the skills of communicative competence in the educational environment is the requirements of a modern technogenic civilization trying to survive. It is stated that in the present time when information and communication can act as effective activators of value-moral principles of educational culture. Such communication skills are necessary for the fast formation of sustainable principles of cross-cultural understanding that would support the values of tolerance and a healthy lifestyle. In such a case, the development of science and educational competences of all participants of the educational process should lead to periodic modification, improvement of the whole system of interpersonal communication, giving them new forms directed to the tolerance, in which the subject of communication finds himself in the "Other", or find "Other" in himself.

The article explores the problem of teachers’ reflexivity, its influence on the educational process and the specifics of teachers’ professional activity. The research purpose is a theoretical and empirical study of teachers’ reflexivity and its developmental specifics. The main forms of reflexivity development are lecturing, training, analysis, self-analysis and testing. To improve the personality traits which are important for reflexivity development (self-awareness, communication skills, empathy, identification of professional and personal value guidelines, etc.), a teacher may also use different games and tasks, along with various methods of analyzing the lessons and his/her own contribution to them. All these resources should be included in the annual plan of an educational organization. The results of the study allow concluding about the effectiveness of the declared measures for teachers’ reflexivity development. Within the changing domestic education system, one of the key challenges is training teachers who meet the requirements of the modern professional standard. A possible solution to this problem can be systematic work in an educational organization to improve the teacher’s underdeveloped qualities. One of these characteristics, which can influence the improvement of the teacher’s professionalism and ensure the compliance with the professional standard, is reflexivity. Along with the fact that reflexivity is among the most important components of the pedagogical activity, it is necessary to recognize the poor criterial basis for the professional reflexivity of teachers working in educational organizations, namely the applied aspects of its development within teachers’ methodological activity.

It mainly concerns a professional language, which is an obligatory part of the cadets' professional training. One of the main tasks of foreign language training of future officers is to form the communicative competency in the spheres of professional and situational communication as well as to learn new professional information from foreign sources. Based on the stated above, the author developed the methodology of forming communicative competence of future officers in the process of foreign language training with the active implementation of informational communicative technologies and computer means of teaching: the virtual reality, military-professional games, role play stimulators, and other software, within which a dialogue appeared. The last is regarded as an active message exchange between participants of the educational process or a user and the information system in real-time. The use of informational communicative technologies has enabled instant access to remoted module informational resources, synchronous (asynchronous) communication between subjects of the educational process. It has also provided new opportunities for testing, administration, and cooperation. The experimental usage of the author's methodology was implemented into the teaching process of the subject “Foreign language” based on the intercultural educational environment as a set of immersion, virtual, interactive, and discourse educational environments. The analysis of the obtained results and objective consideration of the dynamics of the changes in the formation of communicative competence of future officers have been done through the integrated test (targeted monitoring, a set of adapted tests application, an online survey, a questionnaire, case study, situational modelling, individual and group interviews) and methods of mathematical statistics. The conducted study has proved the efficiency of the author’s methodology implementation based on the intercultural educational environment of higher military education establishments. The proposed methodology can be successfully used in the process of foreign language training of various specialists because its main strategic orientation is to form communicative competence and abilities for intercultural communication among students (cadets).

The article describes the diagnostic and correctional possibilities of using simulation role play with University students. It should be noted, that simulation and a role play allows to immerse students in active controlled communication, where they can express themselves, learn about their hidden capabilities, and develop their skills necessary for more productive functioning as a group or individually. Such play should contain elements of modeling, construction, and transformation. Today, simulation role play offers great opportunities to work with any categories of students, and have a great practical use, as it provides an opportunity to master both verbal and non-verbal forms of communication in various situations, clearly demonstrating the ways and possibilities to apply in practice the knowledge gained. The study showed that the use of simulation role play in the educational process helps to increase significantly the communicative competence of students. Thanks to a 4 months’ simulation role play with students during their studies at the University, they have significantly increased their communication competence, formed new communication skills and communication behavior strategies, and decreased the indicators of "communicative clumsiness". The results suggest that simulation role play as a type of socio-psychological training can be actively used in teaching practice at the University for the development of students ' communication skills, as it involves dialogue, relying on life experience and feelings of younger generation. This is a form of specially organized communication, which may become necessary in the increasing distant "indirect interaction" in our lives through social networks and the Internet.
